Chapter 264: 263. Superman vs Knull -1
◉◉◉◉◉
Nolan's fists weren't just devastating in force they carried the weight of two dimensions wrapped around them, each strike shredding Knull's essence at its core.
Knull's rule was darkness absolute, but Nolan's dimensional energies compressed that darkness into nothing, stripping it down to invisible particles before absorbing it.
The god's towering form visibly shrank under the assault.
To maintain size, he was forced to constantly weave new black tendrils from his own substance.
It was bleeding him dry.
"Damn you…" Knull spat.
Sealed for countless millennia, he had believed the only being to truly challenge him was the Celestial he'd slain with All-Black.
Now this newborn god was dismantling his power like it was child's play.
Fist met fist each collision detonating like supernovas. The void trembled as shockwaves ripped across star systems.
Deep within Knull's colossal body, the webbing of living darkness that bound his form began to snap apart, dissolving into nothing.
It was like snow thrown into a roaring furnace vanishing the instant it touched Nolan's entropy-forged power.
This is no ordinary god, Knull realized.
Nolan's eyes flared. Twin beams of red and white carved through the void like celestial blades, slamming toward Knull.
Enlarged by his ascended form, the blast's diameter was massive enough to pierce continents.
Knull snarled, conjuring a towering black shield from liquefied symbiote mass. The beams cut through it as if slicing butter, sending splashes of molten blackness spiraling away.
With a snap of his will, Knull lashed out a living whip of darkness, thicker than skyscrapers cracking through space toward Nolan.
In an instant, shimmering portals blossomed along its path. The whip's length was severed segment by segment as each portal collapsed, its edges closing like a blade.
---
Their duel became a blur across the cosmos, rules clashing with every strike Knull's abyssal corruption versus Nolan's entropy-driven annihilation.
The god of symbiotes began compressing his body, not from weakness but strategy; smaller meant denser, harder to dismantle.
Nolan adapted instantly, activating Pym Particles to match his opponent's shift, keeping the fight symmetrical.
In the endless vacuum, their forms clashed in flashes of light and darkness, each blow shaking the void.
Knull's abyssal law gnawed at Nolan's body, but the entropy field shattered every invasion, turning enemy power into fuel.
When Knull lost matter, it was compressed to the smallest possible scale and erased.
"Damn it! Damn you!" Knull roared, disbelief edging into rage. He was born a god, forged at the dawn of darkness itself. Nolan was a made god, ascending through sheer will and artifice yet here they were, evenly matched.
Driven to fury, Knull unleashed a new tactic. He focused not on Nolan's body, but on the two dimensions from which his power flowed. His god-tier consciousness stabbed into the hidden coordinates of those realms, seeking to sever Nolan's link.
"A fake god propped up by borrowed realms," Knull growled. "I've slain hundreds like you."
His corruption lashed into the dimensions only to pause. His eyes narrowed.
"You… fused them into your body?"
Knull had seen many "gods" whose strength evaporated outside their home plane. But Nolan had grafted his dimensions into his own flesh.
That meant every moment, his body bathed in their power. It also meant there was no separation to exploit no period of weakness to strike.
But the strain… the crushing pressure of two realms inside a mortal-born form… any other being would have been torn apart.
Not Nolan.
The battle reached a fever pitch. Both combatants bore wounds now, though Nolan's healed almost instantly, cosmic radiation seeping into him like oxygen, fueling restoration.
Still, Nolan's mind raced. Stalemate would cost time, and time meant the symbiote army kept spreading. Knull was far more formidable than Bast—a true Skyfather by this universe's limits.
The entropy rule could eventually strip him down to nothing, but it would take too long.
Then Nolan's eyes flicked to their surroundings they'd drifted beyond the solar system into a new star cluster, twin suns locked in a gravitational dance.
An idea formed.
Knull sneered.
"If I still held All-Black, you'd already be dead."
Nolan didn't respond only lunged. Knull sidestepped, and Nolan's red-white beams shot past him, striking the twin stars.
The Pym Particles triggered.
The suns began to shrink.
Knull laughed, thinking it a mistake. His strike slammed into Nolan's chest, abyssal force ripping through armor and flesh, hurling him back. Tendrils of corrupted law burrowed into the wound, eating away at his form.
But the stars kept shrinking…
