Chapter 3: Chapter 3: The Senju Princess and the Impossible Mission
Naruto World – Konohagakure
Inside a quiet, spacious room, a young woman sat in silence.
She had a tall, well-proportioned figure and long honey-blonde hair tied in a high ponytail. Her features were striking, elegant yet fierce. Even seated, her presence was commanding.
She was none other than the princess of the Senju Clan, Tsunade.
At that moment, Tsunade was staring at the strange interface floating in her mind, a mysterious chat group, murmuring to herself:
"A chat group...? Doesn't feel like genjutsu…"
"If the items in that shop are real… could I use them to grow stronger? Maybe even end this war...?"
Just then, a burst of chaotic footsteps echoed from outside.
"Lady Tsunade! Trouble!"
Tsunade's expression darkened. "What is it?"
A Konoha shinobi rushed in, bowing low.
"Lord Orochimaru just returned to the village. He said Lord Nawaki has been… involved in an incident."
Her pupils shrank.
Tsunade's voice trembled. "Where is Orochimaru? Take me to him, now!"
"Yes, ma'am!"
Moments later, Tsunade burst into a side room.
Inside stood Orochimaru and Jiraiya, both cloaked in heavy silence. Their faces were grim, shadows dancing beneath their eyes.
Tsunade's steps faltered.
"You… might not want to see this."
Jiraiya gently held out an arm to stop her.
"It doesn't matter," Tsunade replied, voice hoarse. "Even if I see him… I might not recognize him anymore."
Orochimaru said nothing. He simply handed her a familiar pendant, cold and silent.
It was the same gift Tsunade had given Nawaki just yesterday for his birthday.
Her hands trembled as she caught the pendant, then sprinted past them.
What she saw made her blood run cold.
A pool of blood had stained the floor.
"NAWAKI!!"
Clutching the necklace tightly, Tsunade collapsed to her knees, her cries torn from her soul.
Why?
Why did this happen?!
Just yesterday, they had celebrated his birthday…
He had spoken so passionately about becoming Hokage...
"The dead can't come back…"
Jiraiya's voice was soft, yet it pierced like a blade.
Come back...?
Suddenly, Tsunade remembered the strange chat group she had just joined.
The others in the group had said that with enough points… anything was possible.
Could she bring Nawaki back?
The people in the group had grand, divine-sounding names.
Maybe, just maybe, one of them knew a way to bring someone back from the dead.
Of course, a part of her still didn't trust the bizarre group.
But right now… it was the only hope she had left.
Even if someone in that group could revive him,
Why would they help her?
She was a newcomer. A stranger.
And resurrection... how could that be easy?
She gritted her teeth.
Then she closed her eyes, and summoned the group interface once more.
[Group Chat Interface – Active]
『Senju Princess』: Can the chat group… bring someone back to life?
『My Little Sister's a Chunibyo』: Umm… I don't think the group itself can do that. But… maybe someone in the group knows a way?
『Commander of the Great Wall Garrison』: There's no such method in my world.
『Blade King』: …Did something happen?
『Senju Princess』: I just got word… My little brother died in battle. And yesterday… was his birthday…
『My Little Sister's a Chunibyo』: Oh no… I'm so, so sorry for your loss. That's heartbreaking… I'll mourn for him in silence.
『Blade King』: My condolences.
『Senju Princess』: If there's any way to bring Nawaki back, I'm willing to pay any price. Please… I beg you.
"So it is Tsunade..."
Carl looked at the request and instantly understood.
Tsunade. Younger. Not yet one of the Legendary Sannin.
Her brother Nawaki, dead at a young age.
This… was that time.
Carl exhaled. With the power of the Silver Superman template, resurrection was well within his reach.
He opened his interface.
[Mission Accepted: Revive Nawaki]
He descended silently upon the outskirts of Konoha. The wind stirred as his figure hovered.
A faint signature of life lingered beneath the surface.
Carl extended his hand. Silver energy shimmered around his fingers.
Time bent, cells rewound. Light returned to a still heart.
He whispered, "Come back."
Nawaki's fingers twitched.
Then,
He gasped for breath.
Back in the bloodstained room, Tsunade blinked.
She felt warmth beneath her hands.
Nawaki's chest was rising,
"N-Nawaki?!"
The boy stirred. "Nee-chan…? What happened…?"
Tears burst from Tsunade's eyes. She grabbed him, held him tight.
"You're alive… You're really alive!!"
Behind her, Jiraiya staggered back in disbelief.
Orochimaru narrowed his eyes. "To defy death so casually... just who was that?"
[Group Mission Complete – "Revive Nawaki"]
[Contributor: God Among Mortals]
[Mission Rank: SSS – Extremely Difficult]
[Reward: +10,000 Points]
『My Little Sister's a Chunibyo』: WAIT WHAT?! Mission COMPLETE?! Already?!
『Blade King』: He actually did it… He brought someone back to life...
『Commander of the Great Wall Garrison』: Unreal.
『Blade King』: Ten thousand points?! That's absurd!
『Senju Princess』: He's breathing… He's really alive. Thank you. I don't know how to repay you...
『God Among Mortals』: You don't need to.
『God Among Mortals』: A small matter.
『My Little Sister's a Chunibyo』: HOW IS THIS A SMALL MATTER?! YOU RAISED SOMEONE FROM THE DEAD!
『Blade King』: I'm still trying to process this...
『Senju Princess』: I owe you my life, @God Among Mortals. Truly. Thank you.
Carl closed the interface with a calm smile.
Just another good deed in the multiverse.
