Chapter 30: Marvel 30
"and yes, I am not lying to encourage you all" Max said as he saw the looks on everyone face.
"No, I believe you, all that time whatever you had said, it always had come true, so yeah, I believe in you " Peter said as he looked at others, "Max isn't lying we can really die, I know this powers are addictive but it can really be the end of us, if we got drunk on it" He added.
Max nodded as he looked at others too " For now, I am going , you all keep traing or I won't let any one who falls back on his training exit this underground city"
Everyone nodded, their expressions turning serious as the weight of Max's vision sank in. Satisfied with their resolve, Max turned to leave, but as he did, a notification appeared in front of him.
[Congratulations on forming the Ultimate Spidey Squad!]
[Host will be rewarded with a World Traveling Ticket.]
Max's eyes widened as he read the details of the ticket.
[World Traveling Ticket: A ticket that allows the host to travel to a different world.
Maximum of ten people can accompany the host.
The destination world is random.
The host can bring only ten items from that world back to the main world.
While in the different world, time in the host's main world will be frozen until the host returns.]
Max's mind raced as he processed the information. This could be huge. Not only would he have the chance to explore other worlds, but he could also bring back something powerful or useful. His team had no idea what was coming next, but he knew this ticket could change everything. He glanced back at them, knowing that soon enough, he might have to decide who to take with him on this unexpected journey.
"Let's focus on SHIELD for now," Max said quietly to himself, as he tucked the notification away in his mind, already thinking about the mayhem he is going to cause.
Max clenched his fists as he processed the information. The world? SHIELD? None of it mattered to him. For Max, there was only one thing—his sister, Lumia. Everyone else could burn for all he cared. He wasn't about to let anyone, not even SHIELD, mess with his life or the one person he cared about.
'Yue, tell me the location of SHIELD... No, scratch that. Tell me about the person who ordered the sniper to fire at me,' Max thought, his mind focused on vengeance.
[Alexander Pierce]
The name appeared, and Max's anger flared. Alexander Pierce, one of the highest-ranking officials in SHIELD, had dared to pull something like this on him. Max couldn't care less about SHIELD's reasons or their protocols. Pierce had crossed the line, and Max was going to make sure he paid for it.
"Pierce, huh?" Max muttered, his voice dark with anger. "You wanted to test me? Fine. Let's see how you handle the consequences."
Max's anger simmered as he prepared to strike. Alexander Pierce had made the wrong move, and now it was time for payback.
'Yue, tell me the locations of all HYDRA bases under Pierce's control and those under his command,' Max ordered, his thoughts clear and focused on the destruction he was about to unleash.
[Retrieving data on HYDRA bases under Alexander Pierce...]
Max stood there, waiting for the information to flood in. He wasn't just going after Pierce; he was going after HYDRA itself. Every base, every hidden stronghold under Pierce's influence would burn. This wasn't just about revenge. It was a message. He wanted Pierce to know that when you mess with Max Ryder, there's no safe haven.
As he waited for the details to come in, Max's mind drifted to his sister, Lumia. He was doing this for her—to keep her safe. Nothing in the world mattered as long as she was okay. He would tear down HYDRA, SHIELD, or anyone who dared stand in his way.
[Data retrieved: List of HYDRA bases under Alexander Pierce]
Base 1: Northern Siberia Facility – Hidden underground, specializing in weapons development.
Base 2: South American Operation Hub – A key location for HYDRA's covert international activities.
Base 3: Pacific Bunker – Remote island location, focused on advanced tech research.
Base 4: Berlin Command Center – A central location for HYDRA's European operations.
Max smirked. He now had everything he needed.
"Alright, Pierce. Let's see how you handle your empire crumbling."
Max's heart raced as he prepared for the first strike against HYDRA. The Northern Siberia Facility was his target, and he was determined to make a statement. He gathered his gear, ensuring he was well-equipped for the mission ahead.
Northern Siberia Facility
The facility was nestled deep within the icy wilderness, surrounded by snow-covered mountains and hidden from prying eyes. As Max approached the location, the biting cold air stung his face, but he hardly noticed. His focus was laser-sharp; nothing would distract him from his goal.
As he appeared in front of the base, Abyssal Mist started to leak from him, soon whole location was engulfed in Back Mist.
Inside the base, the guards frowned as they watched each screen blacken. But soon, their expressions changed as they looked at the monitors.
One by one, the screens began to change, and a single letter appeared on each monitor.
H. A. P. P. Y.
D. E. A. T. H
D. A. Y.
The guard frowned, wondering what this meant.
Unknown to them, their nightmare was about to begin. Just outside the base, Max stood cloaked in shadows, a predatory grin spreading across his face as he watched the whole facility with the help of his Mist.
The Abyssal Mist started to leak inside the facility from the air intakes. This was no ordinary mist; Max had activated it, and now it was like a predator hunting its prey.
The guards watched in terror as the mist poured in, their expressions shifting from confusion to horror. As it settled on the ground, the mist began to take shape, transforming into something else entirely. The dark mist coalesced into a full black-furred dog, its form becoming more defined, with ghostly white eyes that seemed to glow with malevolence.
