Chapter 133: Marvel 133
The entire throne room trembled as Matt and Antares' swords clashed again, their power distorting space itself. Golden time energy crackled against the overwhelming destructive force of the Dragon Monarch, sending waves of pressure outward. The ground beneath them shattered, forming deep cracks that spread like a spiderweb.
Antares smirked as he swung his massive greatsword once more, its crimson glow pulsating with destructive power. Each strike carried enough force to obliterate mountains, but Matt effortlessly countered with his golden blade, parrying the attacks with precision.
CLANG! CLANG! BOOM!
Every time their weapons met, a deafening shockwave shook the surroundings, causing the other Monarchs to shield themselves from the sheer intensity of the battle.
Antares grinned wildly. "Not bad! It's been a long time since I fought someone who could withstand my attacks."
Matt smirked. "I was about to say the same thing. But I wonder…"
He suddenly vanished—not through speed, but through time distortion.
Before Antares could react, Matt reappeared behind him, swinging his golden sword at his exposed back.
SLASH!
A deep cut tore through Antares' armor, black blood spraying into the air.
The Dragon Monarch's eyes widened slightly before he spun around, roaring as a shockwave of destruction exploded from his body.
Matt warped through time again, appearing a few feet away, untouched.
Antares wiped the blood from his wound and grinned. "Hah! I knew you were strong, but this… this is different."
Matt pointed his sword at him. "And you haven't seen anything yet."
Antares' golden draconic eyes blazed as he spread his arms. The temperature in the throne room skyrocketed, and the air became thick with pure destructive energy.
"Enough playing around," he said. "I will show you what it means to face the King of Dragons!"
With a loud BOOM, his body transformed.
Flames erupted from his form as his body expanded, growing larger and larger. His armor cracked and broke apart, revealing massive black scales beneath. His limbs stretched, his fingers turning into razor-sharp claws. A pair of titanic wings burst from his back, flapping once and sending hurricane-like winds through the room.
Within seconds, Antares had fully transformed into his true form—a colossal dragon, over 50 meters tall, radiating destruction incarnate.
ROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRR!!!
The sheer force of his roar sent shockwaves outward, shaking the very fabric of reality.
Matt stared up at him, unfazed. He cracked his knuckles and grinned. "Oh, you're finally taking me seriously?"
Antares lunged forward, his massive claws slashing down with the force to split mountains in half.
Matt warped through time, dodging effortlessly.
But Antares was too experienced to be caught off guard again.
His tail lashed out like a black whip of destruction, catching Matt mid-warp.
BOOM!!!
Matt crashed through the ground, the impact forming a massive crater.
Antares opened his jaws, gathering energy.
A sphere of crimson destruction formed in his mouth—his ultimate breath attack, capable of erasing entire continents.
"DIE."
Antares unleashed the attack.
A gigantic beam of pure destruction shot forward, consuming everything in its path. The walls of the throne room melted away, leaving behind only a void of annihilation.
BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!
The entire realm shook violently, cracks forming in the sky itself.
The other Monarchs watched in stunned silence.
But then—
Golden light flickered from within the destruction.
A voice echoed.
"Not bad… But you forgot one thing."
Antares' eyes widened in shock.
From within the sea of destruction, Matt emerged unscathed, his body surrounded by golden time energy that had completely negated the attack.
"I can erase effects. Including your destruction."**
Before Antares could react, Matt raised his hand.
"Now it's my turn."
Time froze.
Antares' massive dragon body stiffened, completely unable to move. His wings, his claws, even the energy inside his body—all were locked in place.
Matt walked up to him casually, raising his sword.
And then—
SLASH!
A golden cut appeared across Antares' chest, deeper than before. Time resumed, and blood sprayed like a fountain.
Antares let out a thunderous roar of agony.
The Monarchs gasped.
Tarnak's face paled. "Impossible… The Dragon Monarch is being wounded?!"
Yogumunt, usually calm, gritted his teeth. "This isn't a normal battle anymore... this is a war of concepts."
Antares staggered back, clutching his wound. But instead of rage, he grinned.
"Hah… HAHAHAHAHA!!!" His laughter shook the skies.
"YOU… YOU ARE WORTHY OF A REAL FIGHT!"
His aura exploded outward, shattering the very reality around them. The sky turned black, and space itself fractured under his sheer presence.
Matt smiled. "That's what I was hoping for."
Their final clash was about to begin.
The very fabric of reality trembled as Antares' aura exploded outward, his laughter shaking the realm itself. The sky above turned pitch black, and the air thickened with raw destruction, warping space in violent ripples.
BOOM!
The ground beneath them cracked apart, splitting into massive chasms. The throne room had long since been obliterated—now, only an endless void surrounded them, where time and destruction clashed in an eternal storm.
Antares flapped his titanic wings, causing hurricanes to erupt across the battlefield. His golden draconic eyes blazed with power, his massive form towering over Matt like an unstoppable force of nature.
"You have my respect, King of Humans," Antares rumbled, his voice echoing through the broken dimension. "No one has ever forced me to fight seriously in my true form. But now…"
He raised his claws, and an insane amount of destructive energy gathered around his body. His scales glowed as if burning from within.
"This will be your end!"
With a single flap of his wings, Antares disappeared.
BOOM!
Matt's eyes widened slightly—Antares' speed had just tripled!
Before he could react, a massive claw came down.
CRASH!!!
Matt barely dodged, but the sheer impact tore through space, sending waves of destruction outward.
Antares roared, twisting mid-air, his tail smashing into Matt's side.
BOOM!
Matt was sent flying, his body ripping through mountains of pure energy, before slamming into the void's edge.
"Kh…" Matt wiped his lips, golden mist leaking from his wound. His armor flickered—even he had taken damage.
Antares grinned. "Feeling it now, human?"
Matt slowly stood up. His golden eyes burned brighter.
"I'll admit…" he muttered. "That actually hurt."
Then, he grinned.
"But now, it's my turn."
