3rd Person POV -

Diana came in. She looked at her mother sitting on her bed. She asked,'' Mother what happened? Why did you leave so suddenly?''

Hypolytia shook her head and said,'' Nothing. I just wanted to be alone for some time. Why are you here?''

Diana replied, '' Mother I think war in the man's world is the doing of Ares. He surely have returned and must have manipulated the man's to fight against each other. Mother they are being influenced by the God of war to do his bidding.''

Hypolytia shook her head and said,'' Diana you do not know the humans the way I do. They don't need any manipulation to fight against each other. There greed, pride and anger drives them to do whatever it takes to achieve there goals. So how do you believe that this is the doing of God of war?''

Diana have not intracted with the humans. And she really does not have any idea of what they are truly like? How they are? But she also knew that she should not trust her mother's judgement. Because she hates every man in the world.

But then she remembered what Percy has said. He had told her that there are all kinds of people in the human world. Some good and some bad. So it will be totally wrong to judge the entire humanity on the account of some.

Diana said,''You may be right mother but humanity is not totally doomend there are always good people we just have to find them.

And even if Ares is not back it is entirely possible that he will use this time to heal from his wound so we have to do something before he can heal.

And don't you remember What that man said about the diary. If he didn't brought it to his peoples then Millions of people will die. He has to go. Mother please think it please.''

Hypolytia was silent for a while. She was still Reluctant to let her daughter go but she knows that she has to let her daughter go. She said,'' Are you sure that you are ready for this challenge? Ares is very powerful? And even beside Ares the outside world is quite harsh. Especially this time when a big war is happening. Are you sure you can take care of yourself?''

Diana quickly nodded her head and said, ''Yes I am very much ready. This is the day for which Percy has trained me for. And I am sure that I can fight Ares and about the outside world I know that I can not trust anyone. And No one will believe me if I will tell them about Ares. So I have to be careful.''

Hypolytia then stood up and embraced her daughter. She said,''If you have already made up your mind then I can not change it. So go and rest because I believe this will be the last time that you can rest for a very long time. ''

Diana parked up after hearing this. She almost screamed and said,'' I will not disappoint you mother. I promise.''

Hypolytia touched her cheek and said ,'' You have never disappointed me. While you did made me loose my temper many times with your rebellious acts but never disappointed me.''

Aftet bidding her farewell Diana was about to leave when she stopped and asked,'' Mother can I ask you some thing? ''

Hypolytia answered, '' You do not need permission for asking anything. Of course you can ask.''

Diana smiled and said,'' Mother who is Percy?''

Hypolytia frowned after hearing this. Yes she knew that Perseus has never told her about his real identity. She knew that Perseus have told her daughter to find it herself. So she asked,'' What do you mean daughter? ''

Diana said,'' Mother as you have told me that I am a Demigod. Daughter of Zeus.''

Hypolytia remembered when Diana came back from her training with Perseus and awakened her abilities. She has pestered her non stop to tell her about her abilities and strength. She wanted to know Why and How she is far more stronger and more powerful then the other Amazons and in the end she has to tell her everything.

Hypolytia said,'' Yes I did. so what?''

Diana said,'' Because of being a Demigod I am far more stronger then the other Amazons, but even then I am no match for the Percy. He just effortlessly defeats me. Sometimes it felt like he is playing with me. So it is clear that he is someone who is much more stronger then me A demigod. But I have searched the entire library but there is no mention of him. Then I was curious just who is he?''

Hypolytia just smiled after hearing this. While that library does have books on the norse Gods but it has not been updated for a very very long time. Approximately a thousand years. And on the other hand Perseus was born approx eight hundred years ago. It is quite natural that the library does not have any information on him.

Hypolytia said,'' Isn't it your responsibility to find it? Are you trying to cheat? Go on sweet dreams my little Diana. ''

Diana pouted and said ,''I am not little anymore. ''

Then she left. And Hypolytia started thinking again.

Diana who has just left her mother's room asked one of her sisters, '' Where is the man?''

She said,'' He is in the west section Princess.''

Diana then followed the direction given by her sister. On the way she thought about everything. She has come a very long way. After Percy's training she has grown from a mere warrior to something more. She has trained so extensively that now she is very much sure that she can take care of herself in the outside world. And while she may not be the opponent of a full powered Ares but if he is as weak as Percy claimed then she can very well fight him and possibly kill him. And from.this came a new question -

Why did not Percy kill him?

Why?
