Chapter 45: Chapter 45 : She is Agnes

---

RUMBLE! ! !

Dark clouds churned in the sky, rolling like tidal waves, casting an ominous shadow over Berlin Park.

A vast and menacing black dragon loomed overhead, its massive form blotting out the sky as it descended with an eerie, otherworldly aura.

A suffocating darkness engulfed the park, the raging winds tearing through the land with violent force.

Trees groaned under the onslaught, bending and snapping as they were ripped from the ground, while the once-lush grassland shriveled into a lifeless wasteland, consumed by the corrupting black energy.

"Worthy of being the most evil sorceress on Earth, treating people's lives like they're nothing..."

From below, Finn stood his ground, staring up at the monstrous dragon with unwavering resolve.

As a sorcerer, he could sense it—this creature was no mere conjuration. It was a manifestation of pure resentment, a grotesque amalgamation of countless tormented souls.

For centuries, Agatha Harkness had been stealing magic, draining life forces, and strengthening herself through dark arts.

The black dragon she had summoned was a product of that heinous legacy—an embodiment of suffering.

If one looked closely, twisted faces, locked in silent screams, writhed within the dragon's massive body.

Finn clenched his fists, his voice cold and resolute.

"Old witch, today I deliver justice."

At first, this battle had been personal. He had wanted Agatha dead for his own reasons.

But hearing the agonized cries woven into the dragon's form, he realized—this was beyond him. He wasn't a saint, but he wasn't a monster either.

Agatha Harkness was far worse than he had imagined.

This abomination contained the souls of tens of thousands.

Driven by fury, Finn raised his hand, and a brilliant white light flared from his palm, forming into a swirling vortex of energy.

The very air trembled.

HUMMMMMM! ! !

The earth beneath him quaked, soil and stone rolling like waves beneath his feet.

---

Above the sky...

Agatha sensed the shift in the environment. Her cold, calculating gaze flickered downward, her grip on the black dragon tightening.

A force was building.

The ground cracked apart, and suddenly, the earth erupted.

A mountain—no, a jagged pillar of rock—shot up like a spear, colliding with the dragon's massive form.

Agatha's eyes widened.

"What kind of sorcery is this?!"

The dragon screeched, its form distorting as the mountain pierced through its body. Black energy dispersed into the wind, vanishing like mist.

The once-imposing dragon was gone.

And in its place, a colossal mountain now towered over Berlin Park.

Dirt and debris rained down, filling the streets.

---

The world watched in shock.

Across the city, people froze in place, their minds struggling to comprehend what had just happened. One moment, the park had been under siege by a black dragon, and the next—a mountain had materialized within seconds.

Gasps and cries echoed through the streets. Some stared in awe, others in terror.

---

On the ground...

A harsh cough broke the silence.

Agatha staggered, her breath ragged. The dragon's destruction had backfired, and the damage hit her like a freight train.

Blood trickled from the corner of her mouth.

Wheezing, she tried to steady herself.

A figure landed in front of her—a shadow in black, a mask concealing his face. Finn.

His dark eyes gleamed with cold amusement.

"Old witch, I overestimated you."

Agatha stiffened.

That mountain had been terrifying. And now? The very man who had raised it stood before her, completely unscathed.

Her stomach twisted.

She had underestimated him.

Finn tilted his head. "You should be dead, you know. That punch could've collapsed the Tokyo Tower."

Agatha gritted her teeth, forcing her voice to remain calm.

"Finn... I think there's been a misunderstanding." She raised her hands in mock surrender. "Instead of tearing each other apart, why not talk?"

Finn let out a laugh—sharp and mocking.

"Who said anything about both of us getting hurt?"

Agatha's patience snapped. Her expression darkened, lips curling in disdain.

"Finn, when I was learning magic—"

BOOM!

Before she could finish, Finn moved.

His foot snapped up, a rune-marked kick exploding with force.

It connected.

Agatha flew.

She hurtled backward at insane speed, the force sending her soaring through the sky. She punched through clouds, rocketing toward the Arctic Circle like a goddamn missile.

---

Finn exhaled, shaking his head.

"I'm not a talker. I don't have time for your bullshit."

The wind howled around him, the city still reeling from the battle. And yet—

No notification.

Finn frowned.

"That old hag's not dead... or she's still flying."

A black vortex swirled open behind him, devouring his form in an instant.

Berlin was left in silence.

All that remained was a mountain that scraped the sky—

And a city full of terrified people.

---

Meanwhile…

London, England.

Inside a secure S.H.I.E.L.D. office near the Thames, a phone buzzed.

DIDI! ! !

Sitting behind a desk, Nick Fury answered.

"Nick Fury."

He listened for barely a few seconds before his expression turned grim.

From across the room, Wanda Maximoff raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong?"

Nick exhaled sharply. "Shadow appeared."

Wanda frowned. "Isn't that a good thing?"

Fury's fingers tightened around the phone.

"Not exactly. 'SHADOW' got into a fight in Berlin. They completely wrecked the park— leveled it, actually. And their battle was... destructive."

His temples throbbed. The Council was already breathing down his neck, demanding S.H.I.E.L.D. handle the situation before it got worse.

Fury sighed.

"Like hell I can do anything. You think a normal human like me can deal with that?"

Since return, the world had turned upside down. The shit happening on Earth now? It wasn't normal.

It was god-like.

Wanda, however, had stopped listening.

Her face had gone pale.

Berlin.

Near the park.

Finn was there.

Her heart pounded.

"He's in danger!"

Nick Fury waved a dismissive hand. "Relax. The intel just came through—Shadow and the others are already heading there. We'll handle it."

He clicked a few buttons, pulling up a live feed from Berlin.

The footage projected onto the big screen.

A grainy image flickered—a dark figure punching a woman into the air.

The screen glitched, switching to another frame—

Finn raising a goddamn mountain and stabbing a dragon with it.

Fury's eye twitched.

"Jesus. Is this still Earth?"

He rubbed his forehead. "I need a drink."

But beside him, Wanda wasn't laughing.

She stared at the screen—frozen.

Her hands trembled, her breath caught in her throat.

The blurry image of the woman. Her face.

Familiar.

Unmistakable.

She covered her mouth in shock.

"That's... Agnes."
