After pulling Nobita out of the Horizon World, she quickly fished out Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo one by one.

At that moment, Sadako had just shattered the three Patronuses.

She realized Nobita had been rescued and immediately turned toward the portal to the real world.

But Dorami was quicker—she lunged toward the Horizon Tape and tore it off in one swift motion.

The gate to the Horizon World slammed shut.

Back inside the Horizon World…

Sadako stared at the now-vanished portal. She had lost her only chance to escape.

She let out a bone-chilling screech full of resentment and fury.

"AAAAAAHHHHH!!!"

The cry echoed like the wailing of countless men and women in anguish, making anyone who heard it feel deeply unsettled.

Had it continued any longer, it might've dragged their very souls away.

Her fury boiling, Sadako unleashed waves of malevolent energy from her mutated body like boiling oil.

The very ground erupted beneath her rage.

"Grrrrrrrr…"

She scanned her surroundings, seething—until she spotted the Shadow Fiend nearby.

Though she had no shadow herself and thus didn't trigger its effect, the moment she saw it…

A flicker of fear crossed her grotesque face.

She immediately turned and fled in the opposite direction, leaving the Shadow Fiend behind—silent and still.

"Whew… I thought we were screwed," Dorami sighed in relief, plopping to the ground.

Nobita and the others undid their transformations and collapsed as well, visibly exhausted.

What should've been a simple containment—cutting their shadows and relocating the Fiend—had become a nightmare thanks to Sadako.

But in the end, they succeeded.

The Shadow Fiend was sealed away, and Sadako had been prevented from escaping.

[Congratulations! Shadow Fiend has been successfully contained in the Doraemon Universe.]

[Rewards granted: Dorami receives the Antimeme Bomb. Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo unlock Burst Mode.]

[Antimeme Bomb: A weapon developed to counter memetic hazards. Upon detonation, it grants temporary antimemetic properties to living and non-living things within the blast radius—nullifying meme-based attacks.]

[Burst Mode: A combat state achieved by Digimon upon reaching Mega form and exceeding their limits. It unleashes planetary or even stellar-level power.]

Hearing the system's explanation, Dorami immediately checked her pouch.

Sure enough, several unfamiliar bombs had appeared.

"Antimemetic defenses, huh? That means a lot of my cognition-based gadgets wouldn't work during the effect window," she mused.

Still—it was a fantastic countermeasure.

"Burst Mode?! That sounds so cool!!" Gian exclaimed with excitement.

"The screen said we need to reach Mega form first," Suneo reminded him. "We got the Beast Warrior Souls before, remember? That lets us DNA Digivolve into Mega, but we haven't tested it yet."

They had previously reached Ultimate form—but the power had been nearly uncontrollable. They almost went berserk.

Now they needed to take it one step further.

"C'mon! Just gotta keep trying till we get it right," Gian said, annoyed by Suneo's pessimism.

"Easy for you to say…" Suneo muttered, shaking his head.

"Well, let's give it our best shot," Shizuka quickly jumped in to mediate.

"Wait… what does planetary to stellar power actually mean?" Gian asked.

"That's the energy of a planet or even a star," Dorami explained. "If you could unleash that kind of force, you could literally destroy worlds."

"WHOA! So we could fire ki blasts and blow up planets like in Dragon Ball?!" Gian said, eyes sparkling.

"Why are you excited? Someone like you having that kind of power is dangerous!" Suneo countered with concern.

Everyone knew Gian's reputation as a bully.

"What did you say?!"

Predictably, Gian lunged at him.

"Hehe, I can say it again if you want," Suneo teased, sticking out his tongue and darting away.

In the past, he never would've dared.

But now—with magic and Digivolutions under his belt—he wasn't afraid of Gian anymore.

Still, despite the bickering, they were friends.

Dorami and Shizuka could only sigh and smile at the usual antics.

Then they noticed Nobita, sitting quietly with a sorrowful expression.

"What's wrong, Nobita?" Dorami asked gently.

"Before we got here… the Shadow Fiend already killed a lot of people. Their families must be devastated…" Nobita said softly, hanging his head.

His words brought a heavy silence.

Even the bickering duo stopped.

Shizuka and Dorami lowered their eyes in sadness.

[Next Containment Subject: Shadow Spider]

The screen, indifferent to emotion, continued its relentless broadcasts.

A new image appeared—a photo of a pitch-black spider.

[The Shadow Spider isn't simply a black-colored spider.]

[It is the shadow of a spider—an entity that exists only as a shadow, without a physical body.]

Everyone stared at the screen in confusion.

What did that even mean?

A shadow with a spider's shape? Isn't that still… just a spider?

Usopp: That shadow creature reminds me of Moria's ability to cut off shadows and make them dance around!

Dorami: Oh! That's similar to my Shadow-Cutting Scissors!

Usopp: Yeah, but in our world, if someone loses their shadow, they die when exposed to sunlight.

Dorami: What?! That's awful! In our case, the shadow just tries to replace you…

Suddenly—Dorami froze.

"…Oh no! I haven't put Nobita and the others' shadows back yet!!"
