Chapter 503: Chapter 503

As soon as Dorami mentioned it, the previously relaxed group all froze—expressions changing drastically.

They had completely forgotten… Last time, to deal with Sadako, they had banished her to the other side of the horizon!

"Right! Sadako is still there! If we open a portal, what if she escapes?!" Suneo cried out in panic.

Sadako's terrifying nature was still fresh in his mind.

No one in their right mind wanted to run into that ghost a second time.

"Tch! What's there to be afraid of? We're strong now!" Gian declared, trying to stay calm. "If she wants to come, bring it on! After what she did to Doraemon, I'll make her pay!"

He clenched his fists with a burning desire to fight.

"Wait, calm down," Shizuka quickly said, trying to keep the peace. "We might not run into her. The horizon is vast. Who knows where she's even gone—it's not like we'll get that unlucky."

"Yeah, the horizon's basically infinite. What are the odds she's right there?" Nobita added, trying to ease everyone's nerves.

Hearing this logic, the others began to relax.

"True! No way Sadako's just gonna show up right in front of us," Dorami said, laughing nervously. "We're just being paranoid. Let's move quickly, and everything will be fine."

With a smile, she applied the Horizon Tape. Instantly, the street ahead turned into a vast, boundless plain.

No Sadako in sight.

"Alright! Let's transfer the Shadow Fiend over," Dorami said, grabbing the chalk and rushing to the Shadow Fiend.

—Meanwhile, somewhere in the Horizon World—

A gigantic Sadako was aimlessly wandering.

Since being trapped in this dimension, she had become increasingly unstable.

She couldn't escape. Couldn't hunt. There was no one else—just her, endlessly alone.

Her negative emotions had intensified to the point that her entire form had become grotesquely twisted.

Every part of her body now defied description—warped, abstract, unrecognizable.

There was nothing scientifically coherent about her anymore. She had become something indescribable.

Only one thing still resembled her old self—her monstrous face, cloaked in thick, dark-red malice.

Her glowing eyes and misshapen features invoked instant despair. A single glance could drag someone into hell.

Suddenly, Sadako stopped.

She raised her head—and stared in a particular direction.

Her pupils dilated. Her sclera turned red. A wave of murderous intent exploded from her like a volcanic blast!

The next moment, Sadako's limbs spun like tires, and she sprinted like a locomotive toward a singular point in the void!

—Back in reality—

Dorami finished drawing the chalk circle around the Shadow Fiend. Thanks to their shadowless state, they remained safe.

"All done inside?" she called out.

"All set!" Shizuka replied cheerfully from inside the Horizon world.

"Perfect. Now, time to swap the Fiend's location."

Dorami approached the computer to initiate the transfer.

RUMMMMMBLE!!!

Suddenly, a massive tremor erupted from the other side of the horizon.

It felt like a huge earthquake, shaking the entire plain.

"W-What's going on?!" Suneo shouted.

Then he saw it—and instantly froze in horror.

A gigantic Sadako, radiating dark red malice like storm clouds, was charging toward them at terrifying speed!

When Sadako saw the real world's cityscape through the open gate, her eyes widened—and she accelerated.

She was absolutely determined to seize this opportunity to escape and return to the real world!

"AAAAAAHH!! SADAKO'S COMING!!" Suneo screamed.

"Quick! Transfer the Shadow Fiend!!" he shouted to Dorami.

Dorami didn't need telling twice. She dashed to the computer—just as Sadako let out an ear-splitting screech.

The sound was horrific—completely inhuman. Just hearing it felt like shards of glass slicing through their brains.

Everyone clutched their ears in agony, unable to function.

Dorami, overwhelmed, couldn't operate the computer.

Then, Sadako's hair—now resembling dozens of writhing black serpents—shot forth with incredible speed, closing the gap between her and the exit.

They were about to break through.

"Whirlwind Kick!" Shizuka suddenly shouted.

Ignoring the pain, she flipped into a handstand and spun her legs into a cyclone, creating a fierce storm that blew the incoming strands away!

"Fire Dragon Fist!"

"Mjölnir Thunder Strike!"

"Snowball Barrage!"

Nobita, Gian, and Suneo followed up with their signature moves—fire, lightning, and ice all rained down!

The attacks tore through Sadako's approaching hair and even struck her directly.

But the results were baffling.

The moment their attacks hit Sadako, they simply… vanished—like stones sinking into a void.

"Eh?! Why didn't it work?!" Nobita gasped.

"Dorami! Are you ready yet?!" Suneo cried, turning to her in desperation.

"Hang on! That sound wave messed with the system!" Dorami shouted, frantically smacking the computer.

The screen was now full of static. She couldn't operate anything.

"No way! We need to hurry up and fix it!" Gian yelled.

Of all times for a gadget to fail—this had to be the worst!

"We can't let Sadako escape!" Nobita shouted.

After the last battle, he knew how cunning Sadako was.

If she made it out, catching her again would be almost impossible.

No matter what—it couldn't happen!

"We have to distract her!"

Without hesitation, Nobita turned and ran toward another direction—firing off a Fire Fist at Sadako to draw her attention!
