Jiraiya: This isn't just a monster anymore. We can't even determine what kind of creature it is.

Asmitah: It feels more like a conceptual entity.

Degel: Conceptual? Could this Shadow Fiend be an embodiment of a concept or a rule?

As everyone debated, the screen began predicting which universe the Shadow Fiend would appear in.

"Now predicting the next universe for the Shadow Fiend's appearance: the Doraemon Universe."

As soon as the voice finished, Nobita let out a scream.

Nobita: EHHHHH?! No way! That thing's showing up in our world?!

Suneo: Calm down, Nobita! What are you panicking for?

Nobita: How can I not panic?! If its shadow touches you, you're done for! How do we even contain that?

Shizuka: He's right. I doubt attacks will work on it at all...

Dorami: Don't worry. I've got a plan. If there are no shadows, then there's no problem, right?

Gian: Huh? You mean we wait until nightfall or something?

Dorami: No, I can use a gadget to cut off your shadows. That way, there's no risk of them touching the Shadow Fiend.

At that moment, the screen switched to a live view showing the Shadow Fiend's current location.

It was calmly resting in the middle of a street.

The street was bustling with people, and shadows continued to fall across the Fiend's form.

Suddenly, it burst into enormous clouds of smoke, splitting into multiple tendrils that darted toward each person whose shadow had touched it!

The abrupt attack terrified everyone—panic broke out as they fled.

Nobita: Aaaah! It's happening! The Shadow Fiend is attacking people!

Gian: We need to get over there fast! Otherwise they're doomed!

Suneo: No good—we're too late!

Dorami: Leave it to me!

Just as the smoke was about to reach the targets, everything stopped.

People mid-run, the moving smoke, the flicker of the wind—all of it came to a halt.

Time itself had stopped.

Dorami: Whew... Just in time to use the Time Stopper.

Shizuka: Thank goodness! You used the Time Stopper in the nick of time!

Dorami: Yup! I figured the moment a containment creature appeared, someone might get hurt. So I prepared in advance. As soon as I saw a problem, I stopped time.

Gian: Dorami, you're amazing! If it were Doraemon, he might not have thought that far ahead.

Suneo: Yeah, seriously.

Nobita: Hey! Don't badmouth Doraemon!

Shizuka: You two idiots, Doraemon's not even back yet.

Gian: Ah, sorry Nobita! I didn't mean it.

Suneo: Yeah, sorry...

Nobita: Whatever, it's fine...

Dorami: Ahem! Anyway, let's get moving!

Due to the containment threat, everyone had gathered at Nobita's house.

Of course, the excuse was "studying"—they were doing homework while monitoring the situation on the screen.

"Alright, I'll remove your shadows now."

Dorami pulled a pair of shadow-cutting scissors from her pocket.

With a few snips, she cut away the shadows of the four kids.

"Okay! Now let's transform into Digimon!" Gian shouted, raising his Digivice with flair.

"Yeah!" the others responded eagerly.

They each transformed into their Digimon forms:

Meramon, Angewomon, Elecmon, and Kumamon.

The four Digimon stood proudly in the room.

"But we have to act fast. If too much time passes, shadows might rebel and try to replace their owners."

Dorami warned.

"To be safe, I'll just store your shadows in my pocket."

Without waiting, she stuffed all four shadows into her pocket—ignoring their resistance entirely.

Then she pulled out the Anywhere Door and stepped through to the Shadow Fiend's location.

Thanks to the time stop, the Fiend was still in its divided smoky form.

It was only one centimeter away from touching its victims.

"Let's move them out of range!"

Dorami commanded.

The team quickly relocated every target the smoke tendrils were reaching for.

"Clear a wide space!" Dorami continued.

They moved everyone nearby, evacuating the entire street.

"Say, does the Shadow Fiend still have any offensive power right now?" Nobita asked, curiously staring at the smoke.

"Probably not... Time is frozen," Suneo guessed.

"I'll try something."

Nobita picked up a rock and tossed it into the smoke.

But the stone never came back out.

Everyone stared in shock.

Nobita then tried using a fire attack on it.

But when the flames—far larger than the smoke—touched it, they too vanished instantly!

"No way! Time is frozen, and the Shadow Fiend still retains its deadly properties?!"

Dorami exclaimed in shock.
