Tsunade: So that means the Green Lantern Ring's power comes from this Ion Shark?

Clark: I honestly don't know.

Diana: Me neither. Earth hasn't had contact with the Green Lantern Corps in a long time.

Zoro: Then that means if Luffy wants to keep using Green Lantern energy in the future, he'll need Ion Shark's consent, right?

Luffy: Don't worry! I already talked to it. It likes me, and I like it. I can use the ring however I want!

Usopp: Whoa, you're already that close? That's so you.

Luffy was now happily bouncing on Ion Shark's back like they were old pals.

Ion Shark didn't seem to mind at all.

Bruce Wayne stared at the screen, then looked at his Yellow Lantern Ring.

"If the Green Lantern's power has a physical embodiment, then what about the Yellow Lantern? Could there be a beast for fear too?"

He pondered deeply while stroking the ring, searching for hidden information.

But the data seemed well concealed—it would take time to uncover.

Akainu: Damn it! A pirate holding the world's strongest power—this is a huge problem!

Aokiji: Yeah, if Straw Hat ever wanted to take over the world, that'd be a nightmare.

Luffy: What are you talking about? Why would I want to rule the world?

Loki: Huh?! You have the strongest power and you don't want to rule? What a waste!

Luffy: What's the point? The strongest should also be the freest!

Loki: Typical pirate—no ambition at all.

Bruce Wayne: No, honestly, with that kind of power, ruling or not doesn't matter. One thought is all it takes to make the world's leaders bend to your will. You don't need to rule—they'll serve you anyway.

Zoro: You're way off. This idiot isn't that bored.

Luffy: Yeah, that kind of stuff's just lame.

Son Goku: I get it. Using your power to cause trouble? That's no fun at all.

Jiraiya: You two are really something… having all that power and still staying pure.

Garp: That's why he's my grandson! I raised him right! Thank goodness he didn't get taught by that idiot son of mine!

Dragon: Oi, seriously…?

Sengoku: Garp, stop laughing! Think about how we're going to keep up with this! That mythical beast from the Phantom Beast Universe—does it have any counter to a Green Lantern Ring?

Garp: How would I know? I asked, and it ignored me. Whatever, we'll figure it out as we go.

Sengoku: You…!

Akainu stared at the screen, fists clenched tightly.

He hated pirates more than anything. And now a pirate held the strongest power in the world?

He couldn't accept it.

His magma practically boiled in rage, feeling like it had lost its sting.

Kizaru quietly backed away, keeping his distance from the seething Akainu.

Meanwhile, Luffy had already regrouped with his crew and was introducing Ion Shark to everyone.

"Alright! Let's all welcome our new crewmate!"

Luffy held out his hand toward Ion Shark.

The others clapped and cheered.

Ion Shark gave them a glance, then retreated into the Green Lantern Ring.

It was... a little awkward.

"Well, it is a being way stronger than us. And it's not human, after all. Makes sense."

Brook quickly found something to say to ease the tension.

"Luffy! When are you gonna fuse? I wanna see it!"

Chopper asked with excitement.

"Yeah! With all those crazy powers, it must look super cool!"

Usopp added, fired up.

"This puts a massive gap between us now…"

Sanji sighed.

Ever since Luffy got the Green Lantern Ring, the power difference had been night and day.

Now, with Ion Shark added to the mix, Luffy's strength was just absurd.

"Well, no need to rush the fusion. Ion Shark said I haven't mastered the ring yet. Once I've gotten good at it, then he'll consider fusing with me."

Luffy looked at his ring as he explained.

"I remember you saying the ring involves a lot of science stuff you don't understand. So when will you be able to use it properly?"

Franky asked.

"Who knows."

But Luffy didn't seem worried in the slightest.

"Anyway, let's move on! We've got another new crewmate!"

Luffy held up Bagci, now back in plush form, high in the air.

"EEEEEHH?!"

Everyone recoiled in shock at the sight of the terrifying plush bear.

Then they saw Luffy's beaming smile—and realized what he meant.

"That's right! Bagci's our new crewmate too!"

Luffy grinned.

"No way!"

Nami and the others rejected the idea immediately.

"Wait! Don't release any malice!"

Zoro quickly reminded everyone.

They all immediately calmed themselves, doing their best to speak gently.

They'd never been this emotionally restrained before.

"Luffy! Bagci only stayed calm because of you! But he's still affected by others. If we run into enemies and their malice triggers him—what if he attacks everyone?"

Nami reasoned with him softly.

"Yeah! We'd all die!"

Usopp added, nearly begging.

"But… the screen did say that Bagci has to stay near someone filled with joy to stay normal. So since the captain picked him up, it's not like he can just let him go now."

Robin calmly pointed out.

Everyone—except for Luffy and Robin—went pale with despair.
