Marvel: I am Wanda's Apprentice.

Chapter forty three:

Yesterday seeing the boys and Natasha making friends and enjoying themselves made it all worth it. We were assessing the different kids powers today to come up with a plan for each student. We had around 20 students so we separated them into 5-10 and 15-18. I could barely sleep last night for the second night in a row. This morning I got up and went for a run. Wanda Maximoff was fast asleep obviously having a good dream. I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before I went out to the track.

When I got there Bucky was already out there. I thought it was pretty strange as it was 6am.

"Hey Bucky what are you doing up so early?" I said.

"I couldn't sleep. You know there's a kid here Joseph who's related to Sharon and Peggy. I can't help but think of Steve. After all this time I still miss him. You know that won't give up attitude Pietro has that too. I'm glad you did this Travis. Seeing him yesterday was great. It's good to be here and be able to see the kids more. Why are you up?" Replied Bucky Barnes.

"Nerves but I think that you just got rid of them. You're a great uncle Bucky. They are lucky to have you. Just don't teach the boys to pick up women the same way you used to. Not sure I want my son's to be a player." I said.

We I got back to the room I tried to go in quietly so I wouldn't wake up Wanda Maximoff. She then smiled at me sleepily.

"Where have you been Travis?" Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"I went for a run I was nervous so I thought a run would help. Bucky was out there he couldn't sleep he said that Joseph Carter brought back memories of Steve. Hearing him speak about the boys makes me happy that we did this. I'm not as nervous anymore." I said.

"I'm glad that you're more relaxed Travis but if you can't sleep you should wake me up you know I'm more than happy to tire you out." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"Well I'm going to go shower now. You know I'm always more than happy for you to join me." I said.

Wanda Maximoff jumped up and started to french kiss me hard and ferociously while wrapping her legs around my waist as I headed to the shower. Good morning to me.

Getting ready I feel a lot better. Less of the formal attire more training gear today. It brought back memories of when Wanda first mentored me. She was in control and sexy as hell.

"What are you thinking about babe?" Said Wanda Maximoff as she wrapped her arms around my waist.

"About my initial assessment with you when I first arrived at the Avengers headquarters. I was so in awe with you I found it hot. That's actually your superpower." I replied before kissing her gently on the lips.

"You know when I told you off for trying to read my mind. It's cause I was actually thinking about you that you were incredibly handsome." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"I'm also thinking about how glad I am that we sound proofed these walls when I built the penthouse. The poor kids would be scarred for life with some of the sounds you make." I replied.

Wanda Maximoff then began to blush.

"You're incorrigible. Come on we better get the kids up for school." Said Wanda Maximoff.

From no where Wanda Maximoff pushed me against the wall before french kissing me hard and ferociously as I wrapped my arms around her auburn ponytail and waist. My wife is a goddess.

We made sure the kids were up to have breakfast as a family.

"Dad can I have a sleepover with Maria this weekend?" Said Natasha.

"Sure. Will she be staying here or are you going to stay at Carol's house?" I replied.

"At her's." Said Natasha.

Pietro then began to laugh at her.

"Ok what's going on? Don't make me read your mind." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

I couldn't help but smile at Wanda seeing her get angry was hot. Natasha then glared at Pietro not to say a word.

"You either tell us or I'm taking your phones away." I said.

"The reason I'm laughing is because Harley Keener called Natasha pretty and Natasha called him cute." Replied Pietro.

"So you have a crush. That's ok. Why wouldn't you tell us? You know your dad was a clumsy mess around me before we started dating." Said Wanda Maximoff.

Natasha just shrugged before eating her breakfast.

"And Pietro for snitching you can help set up the fitness assessments with Sam and Bucky. Off you go." I replied.

We had over to the training room where everyone was waiting. Wanda Maximoff and Monica Rambeau were doing power assessments. Bucky Barnes and I would be assessing combat. Bruce Banner and Sam Wilson were on fitness. Some of the powers that the kids had were amazing.

From super speed to telekinesis to shape shifting it was incredible. They really seemed to be enjoying learning control in a safe environment. I was impressed with Joseph Carter as well as Bucky Barnes. He got a little sad though as it reminded him of Steve Rodgers. He was around a lot Pietro really appreciated having him around. Bucky Barnes took the boys hiking and rock climbing. They loved it.

By the time we had finished the assessment everyone was starving. We had hired a catering company that Fury recommended. The lunch was good and it was nice to see the boys making friends with Joseph Carter and a few of the other boys. Natasha and Maria seemed to be in a world of their own it was cute.

The kids were tired so we gave them the afternoon off to get to know each other before they did a education assessment just to see where they were at with the core subjects. By the end of the day we were all shattered.

Wanda Maximoff and I were cuddling with each other in bed. Lying there with Wanda Maximoff in my arms made me feel loved and safe. I still sometimes catch myself questioning whether this is just some big extensive dream that I'm about to wake up from. But then I look at the wonderful life and family we've built together with friends and family who adores our kids as much as we do. It felt so good to be loved by Wanda Maximoff.
