*BOOM!*

My home suddenly blew up!

I immediately sprang into action and used Telekinesis to guide the explosion out of the window, while I floated up and took out the roof to see where my family is.

"Mom! Dad! Sis!"

I found Dad, tied on a chair as if he was kidnapped in his own house.

I pulled him out and landed him safely on the street.

"Where's Mom and Sis!?"

"J-Jean!? Is that you!?"

"Yeah! Where is Mom and Sis!? Why did the house suddenly blow up!?"

I turned on Telepathy, and found several people still in the house, on the ground floor. Explosion most likely happened on first floor.

I took control of the hostile one and put him to sleep, and entered the house while having a Telekinetic bubble around me.

And there, I saw my Mom and Sis.

...Or, what remained of their bodies.

These fucking terrorist killed them!

Muhammad Yusuf and his family were living in our house for 5 years while I was away, being brainwashed that they didn't exist, and when my family returned, they understood the situation and allowed him and his family to live with them for a while, while they were trying to find me.

But after finding out that these guys had stolen our family's jewelleries and wiped our accounts clean, Dad had called the police to get these guys out from the house, detain them and recover everything they had stolen.

"And you know what that bastard suggested!? That a marry Sara to him! So that we can live like a big family!"

Sis is only 12!

A literal terrorist has been occupying our house!?

"H-he tied me up there... forcing me to watch as he... and then..."

He did what!?

I checked Mom's and Sis's charred bodies. And there were signs of...

THESE TERRORISTS!

In rage, I floated the guy's body, and crushed his skull with Telekinesis. All while forcing his mind to be awake.

"Where's the rest of them?"

"I don't know..."

I nodded and read Dad's mind, etching the faces of these criminals in my mind.

Dad slouched over and hugged Mom and Sis's remains.

"Dad... I swear I will bring them back!"

"...Jean. Where were you? What happened to you? All these..."

"...I awakened these powers after The Snap, and someone took me in and removed my memories of you... I only got rid of the brainwashing a few days ago and got to know that... that I had a family..."

"That guy... was a mutant. Just like you!"

I gasped. What the hell is Dad saying!?

"We are nothing alike Dad!"

But he didn't see any reason. And attacked me. Slapped me.

And was shocked. Scared. Disgusted at what he had done.

"Dad, you are overwhelmed right now. I promise I will bring Mom and Sis back. For now, sleep."

As police arrived, I had taken Dad, and Mom and Sis's bodies to X-mansion. While putting a telepathic field around us that will make everyone ignore us.

"Jean?"

Scott asked me as he saw me, carrying my family.

"Take them to Hank. Dad is suffering from some burns. And... where is Professor?"

"He and Eric have went out."

I nodded, and took them to Hank's lab.

He didn't ask me anything, and said, "He has some burns. It's not from an explosion. It's as if someone threw fire at him.

And...these two... Someone directly burnt them."

"Hank, take care of Dad. And make sure that Xavier doesn't mess with his head. And... give me samples of Mom's and Sis's DNA."

"Alright."

Hank handed me their DNAs, and I started leaving the mansion.

"Jean, where are you going?"

"Half of the world's population was brought back. I can bring back my Mom and Sis. And I am going to kill those terrorists!"

"Jean! Killing is not—"

"Fuck you!"

I trapped him in a Telekinetic bubble for a few seconds, and flew away.

As if those monsters deserve to live.

I need to get to the Time Machine Avengers have.

I don't know where Hulk has moved, but finding Falcon or Rhodey wouldn't be much trouble.

And since Wanda is busy, I can use the Time Machine even if they don't want to let me.

But first, I am going to kill those terrorists.

I know their names and faces.

Yusuf's family are not innocent, but terrorists. His wife and 15 year old kid fully supported him, and ran away with our money and jewelleries while Yusuf stayed behind. That 15 year old terrorist tied my father to chair.

The only ones I am willing to spare are the 5,4,3,2 and 1 year old kids of that terrorist.

And I am going to wipe out their memories of their terrorist family, so that they don't follow in their footsteps.

Terrorists don't deserve to have their kids remember them even after their deaths.

I arrived at the nearest police station to my home, and found the new Captain America sitting there, receiving information from the police officers.

"—We have tracked down his family living with a bunch of other Flag-smashers—"

I hid and listened in, but suddenly, a gun was pointed behind me.

Damn it! I shouldn't have turned off my telepathy!

"Why are you listening in?"

I put up an invisible telekinetic shield over my body, and new Cap came in front of me.

"Lemar, she's just a kid, and unarmed."

The guy put back the gun, and new Cap smiled at me.

"Hi, I am Captain America. Do you have any connection with the Greys?"

He's sharp.

I nodded.

"I am Jean Grey. I just found out that my family that returned from Blip were killed by terrorists."

"Oh. I am sorry about that, kid."

He patted my shoulder, and said, "I will capture the terrorists. I promise."

"Let me join you."

"...I understand where you are coming from. But these terrorists are extremely dangerous. I can't let a civilian, much less a minor into this mission.

I am a soldier, and they are dangerous even for me."

"Cap, you are looking at the next gen Avenger. I can handle myself, I promise."

I demonstrated a little of my power.

By floating the cars standing outside the police station easily.

I intend to keep Telepathy a secret, since it will spook many. But showing off Telekinesis isn't a problem.

Especially if I can join Avengers.

"Do you think I can join the team now? Atleast until I avenge my parents?"
