Chapter eighty five:

Jean Grey and I got up early to make ourselves breakfast before we checked on everything for the wedding. Jean Grey started to make pancakes so I wrapped my arms around her waist from behind and moved her red ponytail to the side before kissing her neck. I could tell Jean Grey was enjoying it as her breath kept hitching when I kept kissing.

Jean Grey then turned off the pancakes and kissed me long and passionately on the lips. I then lifted her up on the kitchen table to continue kissing her and kept my hands roaming through her red ponytail. Jean Grey then wrapped her legs around my waist wanting me closer to her.

We pulled away breathless and frustrated knowing we didn't have long before we had to leave. Jean Grey finished off the pancakes so we could eat them before we had to leave.

We then knocked on the door and Ororo Munroe answered it.

"Rogue and Kitty isn't ready yet." Said Ororo Munroe.

Jean Grey and I then went upstairs before she banged on the door.

"You've got new minutes to get out here or I will find myself new bridesmaids." Replied Jean Grey.

"Sorry we lost track of time." Said Anna LeBeau.

"It's okay but if you're late for our wedding I will be killing both of you." I replied.

We then walked to the office of the people that were organizing it. The man took us to down to the location that the ceremony will be showing us how it's set up. It was perfect. He then took us to the reception location. It was beautiful and intimate just what we wanted. We handed over the plans of where people were going to be seated so they could sort out name cards so people knew where they were going to sit.

Jean Grey and I thanked the man graciously as we left with the others. We then went to a restaurant for lunch.

"So what did you think?" I said.

"It's beautiful." Replied Carol Danvers.

"I think it's going to be perfect." Said Jean Grey before she kissed me gently on the lips.

"So how is the wedding day actually going to work?" Replied Kitty Pryde.

"Well Pietro is going to stay in our house while Natasha stays in your's the night before. The hair and makeup artist will go to your house first they will be there at 9. Then they'll come to me at 11:30. The ceremony starts at 12:30 so we should all be ready then. Pietro will walk me down the aisle then Nate will walk Jean down. Carol is doing the reading and then we'll say our vows and then the reception." I said.

"Have you picked a song for your first dance yet?" Replied Ororo Munroe.

"We're going to use the one Travis sang to me when he proposed." Said Jean Grey.

"Thinking Out Loud." I replied.

"You know Pietro has been working on his speech and it's actually pretty good." Said Hope Van Dyne.

"What is it with Maximoff's and their way with words?" I replied.

"It's easy to be good with your words when you're explaining your feelings to the most beautiful woman in the world." Said Jean Grey before she kissed me gently on the lips.

After lunch we went to a bar overlooking the sea. The place was pretty quiet so we could talk.

"What's the plan for the honeymoon?" Replied Carol Danvers.

"Well there really isn't a plan. We're going to stay here in Hawaii." I said.

"It's just a excuse so Jean can stay here." I replied.

"What did you say?" Said Jean Grey as she walked over to us.

"Nothing really appropriate sorry babe." I replied.

When we got back to the house and everyone else was at the beach. I grabbed a portable speaker and put music on. Agatha Harkness used her purple magic to make a ice bucket and we filled it with drinks.

I then bowed in front of Jean Grey offering her my hand. Jean Grey then took it before we started to dance together.

"Just tomorrow left and then it's our wedding. Are you ready?" Said Jean Grey.

"I wanted to be with you since the moment I met you. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." I replied.
