Loki sat in the restaurant, staring at Thor as he greeted customers with a smile, his face filled with disbelief.

Was this really Thor?

The God of Thunder from Asgard?

His hot-headed, brainless brother who only knew how to throw a hammer at people?

He had clearly seen several mortals making things difficult for Thor, yet Thor had continued to smile throughout.

Such a scene was something Loki wouldn't even dare to imagine in his dreams.

It was surreal.

And yet, here it was—unfolding right before his eyes.

Loki let out a long breath and looked at Thor with a complicated expression.

His brother had changed.

Not only had his personality shifted considerably, but he'd even picked up some solid cooking skills.

Speaking of which, the bowl of noodles he'd just made for Loki… was genuinely delicious.

A sigh of admiration surfaced in Loki's mind.

"Hey, little brother, what's your relationship with him?"

A woman with light makeup had approached and now stood in front of Loki, whispering the question.

Loki didn't even bother to lift his eyelids. He answered flatly, "Get lost."

His tone was indifferent, filled with disdain.

If an adult had said that, people might've wanted to slap them. But coming from the seemingly harmless little Loki…

It was oddly adorable.

The woman who had spoken smiled brightly. "You're so cute, little brother!"

"Stay away from me, mortal!"

"Heehee! You're so fierce! I love it!"

Loki stared at her like she was insane. "Are you an idiot, woman?"

"Ah!"

The woman let out a small gasp. "A domineering CEO vibe! I love it! Say a few more lines!"

Loki: "…"

What the hell is wrong with this world?

The person being insulted isn't even angry. She looks like she's begging for more?

This woman must be sick.

Loki grumbled to himself and closed his eyes, ignoring her completely.

Seeing Loki refuse to engage, the woman walked away, looking disappointed.

This kind of incident wasn't isolated, so by the time the lunch rush ended and all the customers had left, Loki's face was dark enough to drip ink.

Thor, having just flipped the "Closed for Break" sign, walked out carrying two plates of food. Seeing Loki's gloomy face, he couldn't help but smile and pinch his cheek. "You look too cute right now."

"Cute?"

Loki jumped off his chair, waving his fists. "I'm Loki, God of Asgard!"

"Pfft—hah!"

Mike, who also walked out with two dishes in hand, couldn't help but burst into laughter upon hearing that.

"What are you laughing at?"

Loki glared coldly at Mike—but still managed to look incredibly cute doing it.

Mike put the dishes down, flicked Loki on the forehead with a finger, and—ignoring Loki's dagger-like stare—turned back toward the kitchen. "No one's going to believe you now."

Because right now, Loki was just a child.

And Loki had realized this too.

He slumped into his chair in defeat.

He had once been a majestic god. But now…

Just then, Thor spoke up. "You were exiled by Father, stripped of your powers. Once you regain your strength, you should return to normal."

"Did I need you to remind me?"

Loki shot him a sideways glance, then instinctively looked at the food on the table and continued, "The problem is how to get it back. You've been here this long—don't you have any clue?"

Thor responded calmly, "When we meet Father's expectations, our powers will return naturally."

"And what are those expectations?"

Loki frowned deeply.

Thor shrugged. "I don't know either. So I've been living here in the meantime. Maybe one day I'll reach it."

Loki gave him a disappointed look. "You think being a chef will help you meet Father's standards?"

"Well then, what do you suggest?"

"Go searching."

"Where?"

"To…"

Loki trailed off, clamping his mouth shut.

Thor said flatly, "This is our father's test. If all it took was 'searching' to restore our powers, that would be far too easy."

Loki nodded slowly, then looked at Thor in surprise and said mockingly, "Well, look at you getting smarter."

Thor chuckled foolishly. "I've had a few guesses about what Father's test is about."

"Tell me—"

"Can't tell you. If I do, it won't work."

"Humph."

"So, just stay here and live with me for now. We're just regular people now—we can't do anything else."

Thor laid out the facts plainly.

Loki hesitated for a moment before nodding, then muttered, "But you didn't need to become a chef. You're... the God of Thunder!"

Saying those words, he looked at Thor's current appearance and felt a strange pang of empathy.

He hadn't expected Thor to simply smile and reply, "As mortals now, no one's going to pamper you. If you don't want to wake up next to a dumpster again like this morning, you've got to learn to make money."

Loki's expression twisted several times before he finally gritted his teeth and said, "Then what should I do?"

Thor thought for a moment and said helplessly, "You're just a kid now, so you only have two options."

"One, come work with me at the shop and be the mascot that everyone teases."

"No way."

"Two, do what normal kids do."

"?"

"Go to school."

"School!?"

What kind of joke is this?!

Me? In school? Sitting with a bunch of little brats?

Thor looked at him seriously. "Then what else can you do?"

Loki thought about his skills… and realized none of them were useful in his current form.

So he fell silent.

Thor patted Loki on the shoulder. "Think it over carefully."

With that, he stood up and walked back into the kitchen.

Once inside, he couldn't hold it in any longer. He high-fived Mike and, barely restraining a fit of laughter, growled, "Serves him right for lying to me!"

He still remembered how devastated he had been when Loki told him Odin had died because of him.

Thor gave Mike a thumbs-up. "Mike, you're still the craftiest one around."

"Hm?"

"You always know what to do."

"Mm!"

Mike nodded, smiling. "Once Loki regains his powers, going to school will forever be a stain on his legacy. You'll have something on him for life—heh heh!"

"Oh-ho-ho-ho!"

The two of them cackled evilly together.

At that moment, the bell above the door jingled.

Mike quickly wiped the grin off his face, picked up the last two dishes, and said, "Must be Gwen and Raven back from tutoring. Bring out the food."

"Got it."

Thor nodded.

When they stepped out, they found that it was indeed Gwen and Raven.

Gwen was now sitting across from Loki, curiously inspecting him, while Raven looked at Mike with a questioning gaze.

Mike set down the dishes, kissed Raven, and explained, "His name is Loki. He's Thor's brother."

"Thor-gege's brother?"

Gwen blinked her eyes, then suddenly took out a piece of candy and offered it to the scowling Loki. "If you smile, I'll give you this."

Loki: "…"

"Hahaha!"

Mike and Thor couldn't help bursting into laughter.
