Watching Luke jog back home,

Mike scratched his head, looking helpless.

Good grief, more people showed up.

Still, it was kind of nice to have a little excitement every now and then.

He suddenly realized that Tony and the others were all looking at him and paused for a moment.

"What's the matter?"

Peggy Carter smiled warmly. "Aren't you going to introduce her?"

Mike grabbed Raven's hand and said to everyone, "The lady of the house."

"Oh ho!"

Everyone burst into playful exclamations.

A blush crept across Raven's face.

"Raven," she said.

Peggy Carter and Maria immediately stepped forward, one on each side, linking arms with her and looking at her kindly.

How wonderful!

The two women exchanged glances and instantly understood what the other was thinking.

Teaching mahjong! Crushing newbies!

Just imagining it made the two women—whose combined age was over 150—smile mysteriously.

"All right, let's not just stand around," Mike urged.

He turned to Thor and said, "You go buy groceries."

"There are so many people—why me?"

"Clear soup cabbage?"

"I'm on it!"

Thor dashed off like a gust of wind.

After returning home with the group, Mike received a call from Thor.

"What are we buying?"

Mike thought about it and realized that if they wanted to prepare a big meal, they were missing quite a few ingredients. He said to Thor, "Come back first. We'll go somewhere else to shop."

"Oh!"

Thor responded and pushed the door open to walk in.

Mike's face darkened.

"You were right outside? Then why did you call?"

Thor casually pocketed his phone and said coolly, "I've got lots of minutes."

Mike looked at Thor suspiciously and guessed, "Don't tell me you got to the door and then remembered you could make a call."

"No, no! That's not what happened! Don't make things up!"

Just as I thought…

Mike gave the big guy a speechless look and said, "Come in. You're coming with me."

After Thor entered, Mike gave everyone a heads-up, then opened a portal and left with Thor for the other side of the ocean.

An hour later, Mike and Thor returned through the portal, arms loaded with bags.

"Mike,"

John and Lana approached with nervous expressions.

"You made it. Where's Luke?"

Mike glanced inside but didn't see any sign of Luke.

"He went upstairs with Gwen," John whispered, pointing at the few people sitting in the living room. Nervous but visibly excited, he asked, "They're not ordinary people, are they?"

Lana nodded cautiously and said, "I only recognize Iron Man, but the others are talking to him so naturally. They must not be ordinary either."

Facing Iron Man and not feeling nervous? Impossible.

"They're all our neighbors," Mike explained, winking at them. "Other than that, they're just here for the food."

"Exactly! Freeloaders!"

Thor poked his head out from the kitchen and nodded seriously.

John and Lana exchanged glances. They were still nervous but beginning to relax.

Mike added, "They live right around here. You'll be seeing them often—you'll get used to it."

They both nodded. When they saw Mike heading into the kitchen, they quickly said, "We'll help too!"

Honestly, they had no idea what to talk about with people like Tony Stark.

For this dinner, Mike had used a character card.

As a result, the cooking process was like watching a performance—every move was mesmerizing.

Thor watched in awe, admiration, and delight. This was the ultimate level of culinary artistry he dreamed of.

He wondered when he'd be able to cook like this himself.

Maybe… when he picks up Mjolnir again?

He sighed inwardly.

Just then, Clark walked in and froze at the sight of the crowded room.

Why are there so many people?

Could it be…?

He walked into the kitchen and saw Mike expertly wielding a kitchen knife. Overjoyed, he exclaimed, "Dad, you're back!"

After being abandoned for over a month, his dad had finally remembered that he still lived here?

"Clark."

Mike turned to his son and said, "There's a gift for you in your room—from our trip."

He still remembers me!

Clark was so moved, he nearly cried.

He gave John and Lana a nod—his gaze lingering a bit longer on John—then turned and headed toward the living room.

John… bore a striking resemblance to Clark's biological father. The first time they met, Clark had nearly jumped out of his skin.

Clark greeted everyone in the living room, then dashed upstairs.

As soon as he reached the top, Gwen dragged him into her room.

Watching her proudly show off the souvenirs from the trip, Clark's eyes were full of affection.

There was quite an age gap between him and Gwen, so he didn't feel even a hint of jealousy.

But if Charles and Erik ever dared to show off in front of him…

Hmph!

Luke looked at them with envy.

He really wished he had an older brother.

"Big brother, this is for you!"

Gwen handed Clark a cowboy hat.

"I bought it with my own money!"

Clark took it and ruffled her hair. "Did you get anything for Luke?"

Before Gwen could answer, Luke pulled out a pistol-shaped pendant hanging around his neck and said, "She already gave me this!"

Gwen stuck her tongue out at Clark and said, "How could I forget my best friend?"

"You little rascal."

Clark chuckled and walked out of the room, putting the hat on.

Back in his room, he looked over the gifts Mike had brought him. After safely storing those along with Gwen's cowboy hat, he changed out of his suit and went downstairs.

Tony, Maria, Pepper Potts, Steve, Peggy Carter, Bruce, Luke's family, Mike's family, and Thor…

Wow.

Clark did a quick count—there were more than a dozen people.

This was definitely a lively gathering, and feeding everyone was no small task.

But for Mike, it was no problem at all.

When he brought out dishes that looked like works of art, everyone gasped in amazement. They almost couldn't bear to ruin them.

Speaking of chopsticks, since most of them regularly freeloaded at Mike's house, every single person had become quite skilled.

In the end, it was Mike who broke the spell—he picked up a bite with his chopsticks and took the first taste. Only then did the others reluctantly dig in.

And once they started… they couldn't stop.

They devoured the meal like a pack of hungry huskies, almost chewing through Mike's plates.

None of them had ever eaten anything this delicious.

Food from the world of gourmet cuisine—no wonder they were blown away.

An hour later, everyone left Mike's house with satisfied bellies, rubbing their overstuffed stomachs.

Watching them leave, Mike smirked to himself.

Let's see if they'll still be able to eat tomorrow after tonight's feast.

Always coming over for free meals… hmph!

"What kind of mischievous thoughts are you having now?"

Raven, who had come out with Mike to see the guests off, leaned against his shoulder and smiled at him affectionately.

Mike turned and kissed her on the forehead. "Me? Mischievous? Never."

Before Raven could reply, Mike suddenly scooped her up onto his shoulder. With a flash, they both vanished.
