Suspended in mid-air, Mike waved his hand. Below him, the dense array of weapons shimmered, distorting slightly before dissolving into particles like sand and vanishing into thin air.

Mike turned his head toward Clark.

Abomination had already been defeated and was lying unconscious. Hulk was currently being beaten down, while Red Hulk had already withdrawn from the fight, panting heavily and eyeing the fallen Abomination with a menacing glare.

So this Red Hulk is Ross?

Recalling the information he had just seen inside the big boss's mind, Mike murmured quietly.

A vendetta for the death of a daughter...

Letting the other party deal with Abomination seemed appropriate.

That thought flashing through his mind, Mike flew toward the battlefield where Clark and Hulk were still fighting. Just as Clark had Hulk pinned to the ground, lifting his fist to strike again, Mike grabbed Hulk's other arm and said, "Take him away!"

Clark glanced at Red Hulk and asked in a low voice, "What about him?"

"Don't worry about him. Without the green brute around, he has no reason to keep fighting."

Clark nodded. Each taking one of Hulk's arms, he and Mike lifted off with Hulk and disappeared swiftly from the scene.

Red Hulk was momentarily stunned.

He had been trying to figure out how to finish off Abomination or escape from those two. And now...

They just left him alone? Why?

Although his mind was full of questions, the moment he laid eyes on Abomination, all those thoughts were shoved aside. Without hesitation, he strode forward.

Boom, boom!

The ground trembled as the scene turned brutally violent.

Moments later, Red Hulk took off in a sprint, carrying Abomination's severed head and body.

Meanwhile, after Mike and Clark had taken Hulk away, they found a secluded area and tossed Hulk down from high in the sky. As Hulk tumbled, completely disoriented, Mike knocked him unconscious with a solid punch.

To Clark's surprise, Hulk began to shrink and soon transformed back into Bruce Banner.

"Isn't he the guy Gwen brought back?"

Clark turned to Mike, puzzled. "Dad, you knew all along?"

Is that why you decided to take him away?

Mike nodded.

Clark fell silent for a moment.

This guy was picked up by Gwen, and honestly, he seems way more useful than Thor...

No wonder Dad gave me a different explanation earlier.

"Dad, what do we do with him now? Should we take him back?"

A card appeared in Mike's hand. "You take him. I have something else to deal with."

The card disintegrated, and a portal opened before them.

Clark picked up Bruce and stepped through the portal. Once he was gone, Mike waved his hand, dissolving the portal, and immediately opened another one, striding through with purpose.

This was a secret base—specifically, the lab where the big boss had created the giants.

And within that base was the very lab the big boss had used.

There were still many vials of Hulk serum stored here.

These things need to be destroyed.

The world is already chaotic enough.

Inside the lab was a metal door. Mike ripped it open effortlessly, revealing several metal racks lined with serum-filled containers.

His eyes lit up. Crimson beams of heat vision shot out, sweeping across the racks and destroying every last vial.

Activating his super vision, he scanned the room to ensure nothing had been missed. Satisfied, Mike pulled out a teleportation card and vanished.

Meanwhile, back at Times Square in the aftermath of the battle—

The once-bustling plaza now lay in ruins.

The ground looked like it had been bombed. Shattered billboards, collapsed walls, and buildings punched through by unimaginable force lined the area.

People stared at the scene in a daze, their expressions filled with fear and disbelief.

Even now, the battle that had just taken place was vividly imprinted in their minds.

Was that really something humans could do?

This question played on a loop in their heads.

Just then, a large number of police officers arrived to cordon off the area.

In truth, they had been present during the battle, but with a conflict of that magnitude, all they could do was watch.

Rain continued to fall, making the already devastated streets feel even more desolate.

Thor and Gwen, blending in with the crowd, quietly slipped away as the police established their perimeter.

Compared to Gwen, who looked visibly excited, Thor wore a grim expression.

After everything that happened tonight, he had gained a whole new perspective on Earth—and on so-called mortals.

As they crossed into the next street, the world in front of them suddenly appeared orderly again.

A war-torn battlefield and a thriving city—separated by just one block.

"Beep! Beep-beep!"

The honking of a car horn made Gwen turn to the side of the road.

"Dad!"

Her delighted cry snapped Thor out of his thoughts.

Looking at Mike, who was smiling at them from the driver's seat, Thor clenched his fists and got into the car alongside Gwen.

No sooner had they shut the door than Gwen excitedly exclaimed, "Dad! Clark was so cool just now! He went 'bam, bam' a few times and totally knocked that big guy out!"

Mike smiled as he started the car. "Alright, buckle up. Let's go home."

"Dad, why didn't you come help Clark earlier?"

Gwen asked, her eyes sparkling like stars as she looked at Mike.

"Dad, you were even cooler than Clark just now! Those weapons just went 'whoosh-whoosh' and appeared out of nowhere. Where did they come from? And how did they disappear like that?"

Why didn't he come earlier?

Well, because he had things to take care of...

Then Clark showed up, so he figured there was no need for him to intervene.

But who would've thought Red Hulk would appear... and then a whole army of giants. He had no choice but to step in.

Mike didn't answer Gwen's question. Instead, he smiled and asked, "What did I tell you before?"

"Huh?" Gwen blinked in surprise. Her expression turned slightly sheepish as she stuck out her tongue and said, "Next time I see something like that, I'll run farther away."

"Run farther away?"

"I mean… I'll run to a safe distance!"

"That's more like it."

Mike nodded approvingly.

Earlier, when he flew over the battlefield, he immediately spotted Gwen sitting on Thor's shoulders, shouting excitedly at the chaos below.

If she hadn't been far enough away to stay relatively safe, he would've grabbed her and flown her home on the spot.

"So… that really was you back there?"

Thor looked at Mike, his voice a little odd.

Mike chuckled. "Didn't look like me?"

Thor hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

Who would've thought that a man who spent his days running around as a reporter and managing a quiet little diner would possess such terrifying power?

And from the way both Mike and Clark usually acted, no one would ever guess they were such formidable individuals.

Thinking back to his own arrogance, and then comparing himself to Mike and Clark, Thor—despite his thousand-plus years—couldn't help the flush that crept across his face.

What did he really have to be proud of?

With a quiet sigh, Thor leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes.

Can't bear to look.

Just then, Mike's phone started to ring.

He glanced at the caller ID, raised an eyebrow, and tapped twice on the screen to hang up.

On the other end, Nick Fury stared at the ended call and the text message that popped up on his screen, his face twitching.

"Sorry, I'm currently driving and can't answer your call."

Driving?

Seriously? Driving at a time like this?!

Would picking up my call really interfere with your precious driving?!

Nick Fury fought the urge to smash his phone and stormed off toward Mike's house.
