Who is he?

Watching the chaotic battle below—watching the man who was suppressing both Hulk and Abomination almost single-handedly—Samuel Sterns' expression turned cold as an involuntary question floated through his mind.

Beside him, General Ross quietly stood up.

"He's the one who saved Tony Stark in Monaco. He's been quite active lately. Those he's rescued call him 'Superman.'"

General Ross explained, then took off his uniform jacket, folded it neatly, and set it aside. He walked over to the edge of the helicopter bay and looked down at the rampaging Abomination and Hulk.

"I'm going to kill them with my own hands."

He'd waited long enough to unleash the fury and hatred burning inside him. He didn't want to wait anymore—he couldn't wait.

Any further delay, and Superman might defeat them both.

Sterns had originally intended to let Hulk and Abomination wear each other out, then step in to finish them off himself. But anyone who hadn't become a monster wouldn't understand the terrifying stamina these transformations gave.

And now, with the unexpected arrival of Superman, things had changed.

If he didn't act now, he'd lose his chance.

These are my prey!

With that thought, Ross leapt from the helicopter.

Mid-air, a red hue began to spread across his body, quickly covering him entirely. His muscles bulged, and in a flash, the elderly general transformed into a red-skinned giant.

Red Hulk!

His transformed appearance closely resembled Hulk's—aside from the distinct facial features and, of course, the crimson skin.

More importantly, he retained his intelligence after transforming.

BOOM!

Red Hulk landed hard, creating a deep crater before disappearing into the ground.

But just a second later, he burst out from the crater, sprinted a few steps, then launched himself into the air, heading straight toward the three combatants.

Even before he arrived, a violent pressure crashed down with his roar.

Clark's expression shifted. He disengaged from between Hulk and Abomination, his cape trailing like a fine thread as he vanished from sight—reappearing in mid-air above them.

BOOM!

Red Hulk came crashing down on Abomination, grabbing his neck and pinning him to the ground. The two of them slid violently across the concrete, smashing through wall after wall, before slamming into a building.

Abomination roared in fury, grabbed Red Hulk's arms, and yanked hard. As Red Hulk bent forward, Abomination drove his knee into Red Hulk's abdomen.

WHOOSH!

Red Hulk shot upward, crashing through several floors before tumbling into one of the levels.

CRASH!

Broken slabs rained down, burying Abomination beneath them.

ROAR!

With a furious shout, Abomination gasped for breath and dragged himself out from the rubble. His cruel, enraged gaze shot upward.

Damn it!

Who the hell is that?

Another Hulk?

Since when are Hulks so common?!

Why did they keep interfering with his battle against the green one?

But before he could make sense of it, another roar rang out—and the original Hulk came charging straight at him.

Abomination spat to the side in disgust, picked up a broken slab of concrete, and hurled it with all his might.

Screech!

The slab spun like a circular saw, whistling through the air toward Hulk.

Just as Abomination bent down to follow up his attack, a red blur dropped from above. Red Hulk brought down both fists in a crushing blow.

Abomination hurriedly crossed his arms to block—and their fists collided with a deafening BOOM!

The impact shook the ground, and half of Abomination's leg was smashed deep into the earth like a nail driven into wood.

"Heh."

He sneered, then grabbed Red Hulk's wrist and delivered a vicious headbutt straight to his face, sending him flying—right into the oncoming Hulk.

Without hesitation, Hulk swatted Red Hulk aside and resumed his clash with Abomination.

Red Hulk tumbled across the ground, then dug his hands into the pavement to stop himself, carving out two long grooves. Without missing a beat, he grabbed a nearby car and hurled it at the two titans before charging in after it.

Abomination punched Hulk.

Then Red Hulk punched Abomination.

Then Hulk, annoyed, smacked Red Hulk.

The fight instantly devolved into utter chaos.

Watching from above, Clark frowned slightly.

From the way things were going, it was clear—

All three of them saw each other as enemies.

Yet even amidst the chaos, Clark could still pick up on something from the pattern of attacks:

The red and green giants clearly bore more hostility toward the yellow-green one than toward each other.

If that's the case…

Clark's gaze shifted toward Red Hulk.

Let those two keep tearing each other apart—I'll deal with him first.

With a thunderous sonic boom, Clark vanished from where he stood.

He reappeared instantly in front of the roaring Red Hulk, caught his massive fist with a single hand, then grabbed it with both hands and hurled the red giant through the air.

Before Red Hulk even hit the ground, Clark flashed to his side—

BOOM!

A powerful punch rocketed Red Hulk skyward.

Red Hulk roared in fury, twisting in mid-air—

But—

CRACK!

Another blow landed squarely, sending him flying sideways.

And then…

A blur danced around him, too fast for the eye to follow.

Fist after fist rained down, hammering his body from all directions.

Red Hulk looked less like a super-soldier and more like an oversized red punching bag, bouncing violently in every direction under Clark's relentless assault.

Higher and higher he flew—dozens of strikes pummeling him—until he'd been driven hundreds of meters into the sky.

Dazed, confused, and reeling, Red Hulk finally caught sight of Clark appearing right above him. His pupils shrank.

"You—!"

SWISH!

Clark raised one leg and brought it down like a battle axe, cleaving into Red Hulk's midsection.

PUHH!

A mixture of blood and bile sprayed from Red Hulk's mouth. His body folded into a grotesque U-shape before he plummeted like a meteor.

BOOOOOOM!!!

The impact rocked the earth. A massive crater exploded outward, and cracks spread from the center like a spiderweb, tearing through the landscape.

Everyone watching the battle went dead silent.

Even Hulk and Abomination—locked in brutal combat—stopped mid-swing and looked up at the figure floating in the sky.

Drip. Drip…

For a moment, the world felt like it had paused, leaving only the soft patter of rain as background noise.

Far away, in the distance, Thor and Gwen watched with very different expressions.

Gwen was flushed with excitement, practically glowing with pride.

Thor, however, stood stunned, his face a mixture of awe and wariness.

"My brother is amazing!"

Gwen bounced excitedly, shaking Thor's arm as she pointed skyward. "Did you see that? That's my brother!"

Thor nodded slowly, speaking solemnly,

"Yes. Truly… impressive."

Clark was, without a doubt, the strongest person Thor had seen—second only to his own father.

And if Clark was already this strong…

Then what about Mike?

A thought flashed through Thor's mind.

He sucked in a sharp breath.

Meanwhile, Samuel Sterns stood frozen in shock.

His gaze on Clark shifted—from fear… to rage.

Damn it!

This unexpected interloper just completely ruined my script!
