Conspiracy and Testing
Colonel Vasily Karpov walked past the hallways of a soviet armed forces military base. This was the HYDRA Siberian facility. The riffraff of mediocre people were shuffling by busy with their work. For the most part, people were unaware of the relation between the Soviet armed forces and HYDRA. Some of these people were even brainwashed to be loyal to HYDRA and were still unaware of it, until the moment when they can be of use. They were merely pawns after all, for the glorious cause of HYDRA.
He walked into his office and then into a hidden entrance that led to a chamber with a screen mounted on the wall. This was the method of contact left by Dr Arnim Zola. He started to type his message suing the keyboard present and the message would be encrypted by a special program only to be accepted by Dr Zola or other senior HYDRA operatives.
"An 'accident' has been created at Chernobyl as planned" he wrote. "The officials are busy handling the mess that has been created. No anomalies have been detected. This stage of the plan has been completed. The promise made to the vampire can now be completed. As you guessed, he must be scheming something behind the cover of his request. The winter soldier plan is expanding smoothly as well. Stark can be attacked or taken into custody in a couple of years to obtain his super soldier serum research."
Count Dracula had recently approached Russia with the promise of exchanging his knowledge for a piece of territory where he could spend his final days in peace. The funny thing was leaders that did not belong to HYDRA actually believed this sorry excuse he made up. According to HYDRA records, the centuries old vampire had 'died' multiple times in the past. This would certainly not be a first. According to Dr Zola, this was likely a plan orchestrated by Dracula to seize Russian territory and possibly create a new vampiric nation. He even seemed to have organized a genocide on his own people to make this his pretence seem more convincing.
HYDRA desired the world, but it could afford setbacks in loss of territories right now when it lay low and developed silently, waiting for its eventual return in front of the world. Yes, the soviet union was by now mostly controlled by HYDRA. Dr Zola had already accounted for Dracula's Dr Zola had already accounted for Dracula's scheming in his plans and came up with ways to maximize benefits for HYDRA from it. Not only would Dracula's knowledge open up new avenues for HYDRA to work on, the havoc that a newly set up vampiric nation might cause would be beneficial for HYDRA's development as well. As such, the 'Russian' government was more than happy to aid Dracula in his time of need. This resulted in the Chernobyl disaster. Once the time was ripe, Dracula could move into Chernobyl and cause as much chaos as he desired.
This incident was nothing but a side job for Vasily Karpov. His main job was to oversee the expansion of the winter soldier program. Oh, and the occasional check on the Red Room that the soviets not under HYDRA control had secretly set up. He could not wait to bring all their future plans to fruition.
He paused for a moment and then typed "Hail HYDRA."
The screen went dark again as the door closed with a thud, having laid the foundation for multiple conspiracies.

Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, May 1986
I was currently standing in a more populated area of the exclusion zone, having 'borrowed' a better set of clothes instead of those previously tattered ones. I also managed to return the kitchen equipment I took to their respective owners while they were elsewhere. With the amount of theft I have done recently, I feel that I could have become a good marauder.
For acting as a spectator, I have to be standing in plain sight to observe people rather than in a hidden corner. That would simply make me a stalker. Also the rules of acting for a spectator states that a spectator is always a spectator; they can never take the stage themselves. At most subtly influence others. So for the past half an hour I have been walking around and observing random people to understand their habits. And I have gleaned a lot of information that I otherwise would not have.
For instance, the Bzovsky's who I stole the pot from. They seem to come from a pretty wealthy family. They even seemed to have carried a lot of their belongings and wealth from their homes during the evacuation to the exclusion zone. Case in point, families that were not well off would not carry mundane things like pots during an evacuation.
"They also seemed to have a tendency to show off their wealth to whomever they could. Such as Mr. Bzovsky inadvertently looking at his expensive watch often in front of passer-by's, most of whom were on the poorer side, and curling his lips slightly upwards at their faces of dismay. They seemed to satisfy their need for superiority through such small actions."
"At the same time their relationship did not seem as happy and loving as it did on the surface, the relationship that others were envious of. Oh no, Mr. Bzovsky truly loved his wife as he made it known with their every interaction. But his wife…hmm, seemed to be guilty of something. She subconsciously avoided his eyes whenever they spoke and fiddled with her wedding ring. Oh, there's the reason. Major Vostoff, the Bzovsky's close friend, seemed to be the reason. Mrs. Bzovsky seemed delighted at his arrival and once more guilty while looking at her husband. Major Vostoff seemed to notice this and his enthusiasm increased visibly as he looked at his 'friend' who seemed blissfully unaware of the situation. Whelp, poor guy. I truly feel bad for him, being betrayed by his friend like that."
Meanwhile, their servant who habitually bootlick Mr. Bzovsky and seemed look at him with reverence was gloating in the back. While he did a good job of hiding it, his attempts at holding in laughter gave him away. Obviously the man was not satisfied with work and looked down on his employer from the bottom of his heart. He seemed to know of the secret relationship that was going on and gained happiness from his employers misery, even though Mr. Bzovski was unaware.
As the door of their housing closed, I moved on from there. I kept observing other people's habits such as a person quirking his eyebrows when lying or someone smiling when they in actuality don't want to continue conversation with the opposite person. I also made it a point to read up on psychology once I got the chance in the future.
I kept walking until I spotted the target I was looking for. Dr Alexander Gregorovich, a mediocre scientist working with the military. He is not a major character in marvel. He will help me with my 'acting.'
