Gojo's gaze snapped to the thug looking youth who almost looked like he wanted to bite him. "Gouge out my eyes? What are you, a human trafficker? That's is fucking horrible mate.."

Now that Gojo thought about it, Utahime used to give him the same kind of looks before she did something outrageous like chugging a glass of water at him, or throwing her shoe or something.

Meanwhile, the youth was stumped, not knowing what to retort with, and kept sending a glare towards him.

Gojo simply shrugged, as a sagely look replaced his usual comical grin. "Haven't you heard the proverb that, it is better to gaze upon beauty with the purest of intentions than to lust after beauty in one's heart? What's wrong in gazing at the fine figure of Miss Frosty here?"

Gojo went full bullshido on them, and yet for some reason, they couldn't see that he was simply fooling around. Instead, the two sidekicks lowered their heads in shame. Clearly, they had done the latter.

Gojo scoffed, his grin widening in victory. Clearly these chaps had been daydreaming about fucking the shit out of Miss Frosty. He wouldn't even judge if one of them even jerks off while thinking about her, she was just that hot.

Meanwhile, MeiYing simply sent a cold look towards her subordinates which made them cower in shame, before a murderous look flashed within her eyes as she turned towards Gojo. "Miss Frosty? Are you tired of living, Chen Zhen?"

An icy aura tore through space itself, plunging the entire Mission Hall into a state of eternal frost. Yet at the crux of the outburst, Gojo felt something - no he saw something. Her aura wasn't just icy or didn't seem be related to the frost element, rather it seemed to explode from her body in line with the subtle shifts in her emotions.

How could he tell? It was rather simple for the six eyes. The subtle changes in her heart rate and blood pressure, conveyed her annoyance towards him, but what intrigued him the most was her aura seemed to shift in accordance to her emotions. He wasn't sure at first - no he had been wrong at first.

Smiling, the tattoo on his chest lit up, as subtle glowing blue light flashed across his body, shielding him from the aura. With his signature smirk, Gojo walked on boldly until he was only about a meter away from her. He leaned in, their faces almost touching, as he placed his hand on his chin, in deep thought, his six eyes supplying nearly endless information about what he was studying to his brain in the span of a moment.

The bystanders were shocked at Gojo's boldness and shamelessness. They looked at him with mixed gazes of pity and annoyance. Gojo just didn't know when and where to make moves on a beauty, much less someone like MeiYing.

MeiYing was stunned in that moment, and her face turned red for a moment, as she took a step back awkwardly, and more surprised at the fact that, Gojo didn't look like he wanted to take advantage of her, rather, his eyes looked focused, and genuinely interested in her, so for the first time, MeiYing hesitated.

Meanwhile, Gojo's expression shifted from intrigue to shock and then deep focus and back to intrigue. After about 5 seconds, he leaned back and adjusted his glasses with a crazed smile, like a mad scientist who had discovered the perfect specimen

"Fascinating. Truly a work of art.."

Meanwhile, MeiYing slowly retracted her aura, as she gazed at him with an unreadable expression.

As they snapped out of their reverie, the sidekicks roared out in great fury, their auras swelled and exploded with great intensity towards Gojo.

"Bastard!!"

"Die!!"

Two bonafide Earthly Yuan Realm practitioners stepped out with great speed, and in a flash, they were upon Gojo's figure, ready to tear him apart in mad fury. Perhaps they wanted to redeem themselves of the humiliation from before, but who cared, after killing him, it all would be over.

Meanwhile, Gojo whose head was about to be blown off from their combined might lifted up his head and grinned. He didn't bother retaliating. Not because he couldn't. He just wanted to show off another aspect of his strength.

The two sidekicks instantly utilized their martial techniques, wanting to eliminate him in one go.

"Heavy Splitting Palm!"

"Sky Ripping Fist!"

"Woah, Chen Zhen is dead isn't he!"

"He won't even have the time to use the trick he used against Senior Brother Luo Ping."

"Yes Senior Sister MeiYing's guards are capable. Their initial stage Earthly Yuan cultivation is not weak at all!"

The disciples discussed amongst themselves and watched as the three collided. The ground beneath their feet ruptured, before a shockwave rippled outward.

*BOOOM!*

Silence reigned for a few moments, and the dust settled, only to reveal the sidekicks stuck in their punching poses, while the ground in which they stood on had caved in. Meanwhile, their target, Gojo's mocking voice could heard jeering at them from couple of meters away, where he was seated comfortably on the receptionist table, eating ice cream.

"Come on, I can't allow you guys to touch me. I'd lose all my face and the reputation I've strived so hard to build.."

This further enraged the two sidekicks, and they quickly reached out into their Qiankun bags, pulling out several weapons however before they could even begin another assault, a chilling aura suddenly enveloped them, immobilizing them, before MeiYing's cold voice resounded from behind. "Trash! Did I ask you to touch him?"

*BANG!*

A casual wave of her hand sent out a golden black surge of a mysterious energy that tore at them, ripping into their flesh and sent them crashing into the massive walls of the Mission Hall.

"Woah! Junior sister MeiYing did not hold back!"

"That Chen Zhen! Could she be in love with him?!"

"I don't think it's possible. Senior Sister MeiYing has rejected every single senior brother from the inner court and even the core sect who has made a move on her. Do you really think this Chen Zhen is better than them because he uses a trick on Senior Brother Luo Ping?"

"It doesn't matter. Chen Zhen is possibly untouchable now that he has the backing of Senior Sister MeiYing."

While the bystanders ranted and ranted, Gojo went silent and simply observed her means of attack,.but after a while, he stood up from the table and patted his ass with a smile, turning to the cute lolli he had been eating ice cream with earlier. "Cute little sister, I came here for a mission. Can you help me out here?"

She came back to her senses and sent a little smile with a blush and picked out several files, before arranging them on the counter.

She then gestured to the old books and pointed to Gojo. "Missions are graded into one star, two star and three star missions, with one star being the lowest and three star being the highest. All the missions can be found inside. Let me know when you choose one..".

She sat down after and began enjoying her desserts.

Meanwhile Gojo looked at the dusty old books in disgust before sneezing heavily.

"Ummm, can I just get a two star mission? One with handsome rewards?" Even MeiYing who was standing behind him silently raised a brow at his request.

But, the cute lolli did not hesitate and opened up one of the books, and began scanning through them fast.."Hmmm. Let's see.." She placed her hand on her chin in deep thought before fishing out one of the most dangerous missions with a wicked smile. "Ah yes! This is it. Upon completion of the mission, the sect will reward you with 1000 Spiritual stones, 100 Pure Yuan Pills, a one time access to the highest layer of the Martial Arts Pavilion, and a middle grade Soul treasure.."

Gojo's face lit up in excitement. The sect was quite generous with the mission rewards, but it was time to see what the mission actually was.

The lolli smilingly bit into a creamy doughnut and whimpered in excitement as it melted in her mouth, before she went back to reading the mission details. "This mission is actually in two parts. The first part is actually a two star mission itself. You will retrieve three stalks of the Blazing frost lotus flower, a wonderful spiritual treasure that is used in alchemy to craft the Fire and Ice Jade Pill, a grade six spiritual pill, within the Blackwater Forest.."

Gojo nodded when he heard it. It wasn't that bad. All he needed to do was go pluck the flowers from some plant in the middle of nowhere. Easy peasy. His lips cracked into a sarcastic grin.

The lolli smiled in his face and went back to read the mission details. "The second of the mission is why it's so dangerous. In fact about two of the sect's top inner disciples have taken up the mission, and they are yet to return. The reason is because, the Blackwater region is home to a fierce Spiritual Beast known as the Flame Striped Python. A grade six spiritual beast, akin to a Yuan Dan Realm Realm expert.

If you can retrieve the eggs of the beast, in addition to the Blazing frost Lotus flower, then you would've succeeded in the mission.."

Gojo's face turned bleak for a moment. "Grade six Spiritual Beast? Yuan Dan Realm expert?" However the bleakness slowly morphed into a smile which morphed into a crazed grin.

"I'll take it!"
