Chapter 473: Pirate Immortal
"Kiernan Hunter…"
Kiernan said as he looked at the white-haired man.
This was not what he imagined he would look like—not at all—and yet it was clear as the sky that this man was the epitome of power.
"Call that person back. Tell him that you agreed with the demands and that you'll teleport him here right away."
Imperius said.
"Alright…"
Kiernan pulled out the phone but then stopped and asked.
"What's your plan? There will be quite a few coming, and if you guys start fighting, you'll alarm the city's guards, and then we will really be in trouble."
"It won't come down to that, I promise. They're not fools."
Imperius said.
"Alright then."
Kiernan shrugged his shoulders, dialed the number, and then pressed the phone against his ear.
After a few rings, it connected.
"Fine, I'll do it. Tell me how to do the ceremony, and I will."
Kiernan said.
"Heh…"
Imperius chuckled under his breath—silently so the phone wouldn't pick up on it—and crossed his legs.
He thought it was smart for Kiernan to act oblivious about the Teleportation Ceremony—he was making himself look weak and unknowledgeable.
"Good… Find a marker, and draw an eight-pointed star on some surface—add these words to the end of each point: Virtus, Sapientia, Honor, Fortitudo, Unitas, Spes.
"Then lit up a candle at each point. Or something flammable—it's whatever. Tell me when you've done that."
Kiernan looked at the table—he had already done it all—but he made it sound like he was busy doing that even though he was just standing still.
"I am done."
He said about half a minute later.
"We'll say Transvectio Per Spatium at the same time. Exact… same… time… Is that clear?"
"Very clear."
Kiernan said.
"Alright… At go. Three… two… one… Go!"
"Transvectio Per Spatium!"
"Transvectio Per Spatium!"
Two voices clashed at the same time—then the fire died off from the flammable items—it turned dark.
The phone call was still going on.
Kiernan moved over to the lights, flicked the lights on, and the room was suddenly illuminated—a person was standing on top of the table.
Only one person.
The person was a bronze-skinned, large-bellied, and bald-headed man—a very rough-looking individual—and he looked around until his narrow gaze landed on the white-haired man.
"Who the fuck…"
Imperius moved behind him, smacked him in the nape, and made him drop unconscious—but before he collapsed down, he grabbed him from the back of his collar and touched the back of his head.
The man's unconscious eyes turned green, glowing like lanterns, and his entire body started to shake with an uncontrollable force.
"Lentor, is it safe?"
Sacrael's voice came from the other side of the phone.
'He sent a scout ahead to make sure the room he was teleported to is safe. He really is playing it safe, but I shouldn't have expected anything less!'
Kiernan frowned and looked over to Imperius, wondering what the hell he was doing with the unconscious man and what the hell they were supposed to do now.
"Yes… it's safe…"
With green eyes, Lentor spoke in his usual rough tone, but he looked very inanimated, like a zombie.
Imperius's mouth kept moving, but no words came from his mouth, and instead they came out of Lentor's mouth.
After he was done, he put the same smile back on his face and hummed an innocent tune under his breath.
'What the hell is that ability?'
Kiernan gulped.
"It doesn't hurt to be too safe. Let's do the ceremony again. Ready?"
Sacrael asked from the other end of the phone.
"Ready."
Kiernan said.
"Transvectio Per Spatium!"
"Transvectio Per Spatium!"
The room turned dark, and as Imperius dragged Lentor's body off the eight-pointed star, the table in the middle of the room collapsed as multiple people appeared from thin air.
Murmurs—loud kind—suddenly filled the room.
Kiernan flicked the light back on, turned off the phone call, and saw a group of almost ten people suddenly standing in his living room.
"…"
Sacrael looked at Kiernan with a sudden hate, his killing instincts firing up, but at that moment, he felt a cold presence behind him.
He turned around, and his eyes turned wide as he saw Imperius holding Lentor's unconscious body with a smile on his face.
"Who… wait… you're…"
Sacrael's eyes turned horrified.
"Those white hair and black eyes… the power to turn living men into lifeless puppets… You're Imperius Rex, the Pirate Immortal!"
The rest of his group, Bulwarkians, picked up their weapons and pointed them at the white-haired man, but they knew their weapons wouldn't do anything.
This man in front of them was someone they shouldn't fuck with!
"Why…"
Sacrael turned to Kiernan with hateful eyes and asked.
"Why are you with him? You're just trash from a tier four country… Why are you in the company of Pirate Immortal?"
'Pirate Immortal? What the hell…'
Kiernan's eyes widened in shock, and he turned to Imperius Rex—he was a pirate all along—but not just any pirate.
He stood at the top of the pirating world as its only Pirate Immortal—it was a rank higher than even Pirate Emperors!
A person like that had been hidden from the public eye, as it could cause global panic if everyone knew that there was evil of such power hiding in the World Seas!
"Heh…"
Imperius dropped Lentor's unconscious body down to the ground—however, he was already dead—and then patted his hands together, smiling sinisterly.
"You have someone in your possession—a captured one—and I guess you know who I am talking about."
"Him… why is he of importance to you?"
Sacrael asked with a feared gaze.
'Even my beloved tribal chief hasn't reached Immortal Stage yet. But this man—Imperius Rex—has been said to have achieved it.'
"That doesn't concern you. My friend over here fulfilled his promise. He gave you free passage to God Island, and you must fulfill your promise now.
"Free him, right at this instance. Give him a phone, and once he calls that he is free, and safe, then you're free to do whatever the hell you want in God Island."
Imperius Rex said with a chilling smile.
"Tch…"
Sacrael gritted his teeth, then picked up his phone and called someone—it connected soon.
"Yes… it is me. Free Sabbath, give him a phone, and ship. I want him out of Bulwark right now, is that clear?"
