The doctors took Edwin away, and the nationals organizers brought a new bench for Kanyon High's members.

On their faces, there were heavy expressions of concern.

It wasn't concern towards Edwin's well-being, but for the outcome of the match, as they only had one fighter left.

However, it wasn't just any fighter.

It was Thorsten Reed, the ultimate ace of Kanyon High!

"Alright, Thorsten."

The coach came to him and looked into his dark eyes.

"It is now all up to you. Despite losing, Edwin did great, and Julian should be on his last legs. Handle him swiftly as they still have Kiernan…"

"I will."

Thorsten stood up and slowly started undressing. His long-sleeved jersey dropped to the ground, and then he even pulled his pants down.

The sight made many audience members turn their heads away, but then they glanced back and noticed that Thorsten wasn't naked after all.

While he was shirtless and without pants, a white loincloth covered his privates. It was something a sumo wrestler would wear.

His hairy chest had a six-pack and rather modest-looking muscles, but the leg muscles were incredibly defined and bulging.

When compared to everyone else's leg thickness, his was twice or even thrice as big as everyone else's.

"Whoo…"

With a deep breath, he picked up a small bowl of chalk and made his way to the ring.

Once he arrived at his corner, he crouched on the ground and put the bowl of chalk down on the ground.

He then dipped both his hands inside, stood up, and clapped his chalk-covered hands together, creating a cloud of white dust around him.

Thorsten then kicked the bowl of chalk off the stage, and it shattered into pieces with the remaining chalk scattering in all directions.

"…"

The referee said nothing as he did all that, as he knew that it was part of sumo wrestler etiquette, and then was about to move to the center of the ring, but noticed that there was still some poisonous blood in the ground.

He wasn't blind and noticed what that blood did to Julian, so he didn't want to risk stepping to it.

Therefore, he backed off and stayed at the edge of the ring instead.

"Third match—Julian Noah versus Thorsten Reed!"

"Are both of you ready?!"

In Kanyon's Sumo Dojo.

"Come on, Thorsten!"

Large-bellied, enormous-looking sumo wrestlers screamed at the television.

"…"

Rainer Reed, the owner of this sumo dojo and Thorsten's father, looked at the television with a rough visage.

"The boy has been lacking in his training. This kind of body doesn't cut it!"

"You know that Thorsten doesn't like looking like us. Hahahaha! He thinks we're fat, but he doesn't understand that under his fat, it is all muscle with hardened flesh!"

A sumo wrestler laughed while slapping his large belly.

"Hmph. That boy is still childish. If he wants to look all pretty and be soft, he'll never make it in the top leagues!"

Rainer said with a dismissive tone.

"I am ready."

Thorsten spread his muscular legs wide and lowered his stance so that his head was on the same level as his thighs.

"I am."

Julian said, and then with great difficulty, he clenched his left hand into a fist. It was the paralyzed arm, yet he was still able to forcefully squeeze his fingers together.

The referee took a deep breath, raised his arm high, and then whipped it down.

"FIGHT!"

Thorsten blitzed forward, running over the trails of poisonous blood, and then pushed his open-palmed hand forward.

"Metal Smash!"

Julian smashed his fist at the hand, and the sound of flesh getting punched sounded across the fighting ring.

Thorsten's expression didn't change, but his hand started smoking from the impact of Julian's punch.

It was a punch thrown with a paralyzed arm, but it still was an extremely powerful attack!

'I am impressed, but…'

Thorsten swung his left hand and slapped Julian across his face as if he were swatting a fly off his cheek.

Spurt!

Blood sprayed out of Julian's mouth, and he stumbled to the side with a slightly dazed expression.

However, before Thorsten could continue his attack, Julian lowered his stance and drove his entire body into his chest.

"Metal Style, Blazing Bullet!"

SMACK!

Thorsten slid backwards across the concrete ground and let out a single gasp of pain, but then, he simply shrugged off the rest of the pain and lunged at him once again.

He front-slapped him hard across the face, but Julian simply gritted his teeth and punched him in the chest.

THWACK!

Thorsten's body shook slightly, but he absorbed the impact and then tackled Julian towards the edge of the ring.

Julian stumbled close to the edge and wanted to quickly leave the danger zone, but he noticed that his legs weren't listening to him.

The paralyzing poison was slowly spreading to the rest of his body!

He was on a time limit because if he didn't win the fight soon, he would be overcome by the poison, and it would be a free victory for Thorsten!

'He can't move?'

Thorsten thought, and instead of continuing his relentless attacks, he stopped moving and decided to wait instead.

A small smile curled into his face.

'The poison is slowly spreading across his body. If I wait, there will come a time when Julian is completely paralyzed, and the victory will be fine.

'It might not be the most glorious way to win, but I don't care how I win as long as I do.'

Julian looked at him coldly and whispered 'coward' under his breath, but he also understood that sometimes winning was more important than how you achieve it.

It was clear to him that Thorsten's attention wasn't fully on this match. He was more so preparing for his next fight, which really mattered to him.

It angered him.

'It's all about Kiernan, huh. You should focus on me too! I am just as strong as he is!'

With a furious scream, he forced his legs to move, and then with his whole body tensed, he threw a powerful punch at the ground under him!

The ground exploded, and dust filled the air as debris flew in every direction.

The dust was so thick and cloudy that Julian completely disappeared from Thorsten's view as he couldn't see through the dust cloud.

'Where?'

Thorsten frowned.
