Ch. 40 – The Great Pretender is in another world again!
At the end of his decision, Leo knew that keeping his Reputation Points until they reached 100,000 would be the best decision as of now.
One of the reasons why Leo chose to do so was because the template of Black Panther hasn't reached its max percent yet. He might get overwhelmed by adding another template to increase.
So, Leo decided to finish the first one first before adding the Daredevil Template.
Sitting on the ground, Leo threw the quill and took out the first Gacha item that he received, the Pen with Indistinguishable Ink.
He then placed the paper in front of him and held the pen in his right hand, Leo was thinking whether to write what he wants to write or just simply copy some parts from the original Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist Volume 1.
In the end, Leo decided to write it based on his own understanding. After all, in this world, the Kung Fu Style would be named after him, so he might as well make it as true as possible.
***
"What are you doing?" Entering the room, Po was surprised to see Leo still up, writing furiously on the paper.
"....Just writing." Leo answered without raising his head to look at Po, his eyes seemed to be glued on what he was writing.
"Oh, ok." Hearing that Leo was doing something that bore him, Po didn't dwell anymore and went to his bed to sleep.
"Uhm....the feast on the Valley was fun, I mean I had fun, I don't know about the others. They probably did?" With his fingers crossed and resting on his belly, Po was facing the ceiling and broke the awkward atmosphere that has arisen.
"Good for you." Leo answered in the same manner as earlier again.
"Yeah....goodnight?"
"Goodnight."
Just like that, the conversation ended and Po, who realized that he has something more to say, got embarrassed and decided to keep it to himself for now until tomorrow.
***
"Fucking finally." Leo silently cursed, stretching his limbs after finally filling up the whole scroll with the entire summary of the Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist.
Eventually, Leo was impressed by the pen with Indistinguishable Ink as the entire scroll itself was very huge and Leo was able to fill it up without running out of ink.
"I should submit this tomorrow." Leo muttered to himself, only to retract his words when the sunlight outside the window touched his face.
"Or today." Leo grumbled, he hasn't gotten a wink of sleep yet.
[If you want to rest, you might as well use your Multiversal Ticket reward now.]
'....It says one month, so many things to do under those days. Will it be the same world as before? Or different?'
[The Multiversal Ticket is randomized, so the answer to your question is yes, it would be different.] Genesis answered with the usual monotone voice.
'Alright then, I'll use it. It's just D-rank, right? It's just as dangerous as the world of Frozen, so I won't be in any grave danger, not to mention I'm much stronger than before.' Leo confidently said before taking out the ticket and ripped it without hesitation.
Like what happened before, Leo was surrounded by golden light before disappearing while the entire world came to a halt, the only difference this time is that there is no Master Oogway to sense the disturbance anymore.
***
"Urrgghh." Opening his eyes from the sudden heat on his face, Leo groaned and sat up, however instead of feeling the grass on his hands, what he felt was the hot grains of sand.
'Don't tell me i'm in the middle of the dessert?!'
To confirm his assumptions, Leo quickly looked around before sighing in relief after seeing that there was a patch of green with lush trees, a few meters away from him.
"So, I'm on some kind of island." Leo muttered to himself before standing up, patting his ass on the process.
'What is the first thing to do when stranded on an island?' Leo said and continued.
'Look for a civilization!' Leo puffed his chest happily and marched towards the forest.
***
Meanwhile, dark skinned men wearing tribal clothes and tattoos were staring and watching Leo like predators watching their preys.
"Someone has invaded our island. Tell Chief Tui." One of them spoke to the other who nodded his head and left.
"We both will keep watching the intruder." He said for the last time before silently following the 'intruder'.
***
'Someone's following me, isn't it?' Leo mentally said after hearing slight whispering and movement behind him thanks to his sharp senses.
'There goes finding a civilization.' Leo chuckled next.
'Once they find the opportunity, they would definitely put me in some kind of hold or sleep.' He continued.
A few minutes later of walking, Leo found himself being right when two figures suddenly felt from one of the trees and landed both in front and back of him.
*Thud!* x2
"Hah!" They then held the body of their wooden spears with sharpened stone serving as its blade and glared at Leo.
"What is your name and what are you doing in Motunui!" One of them yelled in a very violent manner.
'Motunui? Sounds familiar.' Leo whispered to himself before addressing the situation before it could get worse.
"My name is Leo. I find myself being stranded in this place." Leo introduced himself, not fearing the sharp blades that are pointed at him.
Why does he need to fear them when he can simply snap these blades with just one hand of his. Looking at the clothes of the men in front of him, Leo assumes that they're from a tribe, which means their fighting style is nowhere near disciplined, more on being barbaric, which is the easiest to fight with.
"Stranded? We see no sign of any wreckage! You're here with a purpose, what island are you from?!" At this moment, the tribal warrior inched the tip of his spear more towards Leo's face.
"Is this really how the people from Motunui act?" Leo shook his head in disappointment, 'unknowingly' mocking the warriors in front of him.
"How dare you speak filth of our tribe!" As Leo expected, the two warriors in front of him jumped and attacked him on both sides.
'So crude, so many openings.' Leo's eyes scanned the two warriors in front of him, although he was disappointed that he won't be challenged but he was also glad as that means he's on the safe side of this world, there would be no harm to befall him.
And so, Leo dodged and watched as the two 'warriors' accidentally collided the face of their crude spears against each other's faces.
*Bam!* x2
*Thud!* x2
And just like that, Leo 'defeated' two warriors without raising a finger.
'Should I stay here and wait for the others to arrive? I don't want to get lost in this huge island.' Leo sat on the ground and leaned his back on a tree before closing his eyes, hoping that they won't take long to find him.
***
"Chief!"
Standing side by side with his wife while monitoring the village, Chief Tui suddenly heard his title being called.
"What is it?" Looking at the exhausted warrior in front of him, Chief Tui worriedly grabbed his shoulders.
"Calm down, Monti. Take a breath and then tell me why you're in this state."
"Huff! Huff! W-we're under attack! We found an intruder on the south side of the island!" After taking a short breather, the warrior quickly filled the details of what he saw earlier.
"Intruder? But that's impossible, in this reef, we're the only ones, and no one can venture beyond the reef." Chief Tui confusedly replied, his wife beside him also agreed as she nodded her head.
"If it is an intruder, did you see any boats? Or any signs of wreckage?"
"N-no chief, we don't see any boats or any wreckage." Realizing that they must've mistaken the intruder, the warrior stuttered out of nervousness.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Let's meet this 'intruder' and ask how he lands in our village." Chief Tui then walked towards his home to grab his weapon and accessories.
"What's going on?" Suddenly, a black haired girl with dark skin like the rest of the tribe people arrived while sweating. She just got back from teaching the children how to dance their tradition, she is the daughter of Chief Tui, Moana Waialiki.
"Nothing dear, go back and let your father handle this." Moana's mother, Sina Waialiki spoke and grabbed the shoulders of Moana before turning her around.
"What? Why? I think I heard something about an intruder?" Moana confusedly asked while calling out what she overheard earlier.
Meanwhile, Sina glared at the warrior who shivered out of fear.
"It's nothing, Hun. Let's just go back and-."
"Let's go, Monti." Walking out of their house, Chief Tui was wearing several garments on his body and on his hand was a stone hammer that had been passed down from chief to chief for centuries, it signifies the shield and the protector of the village of Motunui.
Now, this is the first time Moana saw this hammer being held by her father.
"Dad? What's going on? Are you going in a fight?"
"Moana? Yes, I mean, no! I'm just going to handle some things. 'chief things.' now, stay here with your mother." Chief Tui chuckled nervously when his wife Sina suddenly glared at him.
Watching him and the warrior Monti walk away, Moana pouted and decided to follow them secretly.
Of course, she has to get rid of her mother first.
