Chapter 318: Child of Lightning
A being made from pure soul energy radiating at the level 5 quickly took form behind Leon the spear in her hand quickly thrusting at Thalion with her full Might.
"Hm?" Thalion quickly noticed it and grabbed the spiritual incarnations neck with an energy apparition and squeezed it tight.
"I know this spell" Thalion frowned looking at Leons blurry figure to the side. He couldn't quite figure out where he knew this spell from but he knew he had seen it several milinia ago.
A milinia old spell that had left an impression on him of all
People? It would definitely be something special, maybe he could capture the warlock boy to jog his memory.
"Too many variables better off killing him right here" he thought of getting this spell from Leon but ultimately decided against it. Instead with his energy arm he gripped tight and dissipated the spirit of carnage with a single move and with the next….
He sent barreling towards Leon
"Shit" Leon hurriedly grabbed the grimoire on his waist and barked furiously—
This guy had destroyed the soul of a level 5 being so easily? If that attack landed on him he would suffer the exact same fate
"Taint!!" He said
And all of a sudden the apparition before him eroded mid flight as it was consumed by an all eroding negative energ type turning it into nothingness.
"Hm? Was that?…" this time Thalion knew exactly what Leon had done and just seeing it shook him to his very core.
Fu shu energy
It seemed like he was wrong this time, Ni'an wasn't the most serious threat to humanity here. No it was this warlock boy standing before him.
"Die!!" Without the slightest it of hesitation, he raised his flame engulfed palm in the direction of Leon. It was a good thing he noticed before this kid became too strong.
If not it would be hard to kill him.
"What??!! You think you can ignore me like that, Artifact man?!!"
Unfortunately for him, just before he could send out the attack to kill Leon, an obnoxious voice resounded behind him causing him to frown.
"Crap!!" Turning back he was met with the figure of a lightning God incarnate.
His skin was scribbled up making him look less human but the amount of energy he released was never higher
Ni'an had somehow quenched his flames of a level 6 existence and was standing behind him as if nothing had happened.
"Lightening pulse" Ni'an muttered.
He was called the lightening monk for a reason.
When he was born, the undergod territory was besieged by a heavy thunderstorm so massive that the flashes of lightening turned night to day.
This lasted for days and was a testament to who he was, it was not only a miracle but also a sign.
A sign that he would walk the path of lightening, the path of trials and tribulations, and he would be supported by the very heavens itself.
—Woom
Ni'an harnessed a bolt of lightening from the sky and sent it directly towards Thalion causing him to block.
At the same time he rushed him with a barrage of punches that he could only defend against causing him to fall back repeatedly.
—Woom
With the occasional flash of lightening, heavy punches rained down on Thalion repeatedly forcing him to guard himself, but each time he would only fall back into a disadvantage.
Ni'an was completely dominating him.
" release the next restriction!!" Thalion shouted at the top of his lungs… at the palace lord of the hall of knowledge.
Thalion was struggle here, and needed help but even though this hall lord was powerful, he barely fought, seeing Ni'an dominate Thalion he felt fear. This guy was their ultimate weapon.
If he helped wouldn't something worse happen to him?
"I…don't have the authority!!" the hall lord said panickingly, the layers of restrictions against Thalion was born from caution. This guy was just too powerful, if he was released to a particular level then he might be able to break the human emperors seal and go rogue.
Forget this puny child of god, if they let Thalion who had tried to assasinate the human emperor escape it would be a far more worse crime.
He couldn't release these layers of restriction even with a knife to his neck as he would take all the blame if things went side ways.
"Shit!!" Thalion cursed, these guys were good for nothing, they wanted him to protect the central continent from outsiders but they would never let him use his full strength, it was beyond annoying.
He couldn't do anything about it though, so he prepared to make a move to get out of this barrage of deadly punches.
However, just as the thought popped into his head the next blow didn't come and neither did the next bolt of lightening.
He stood there for a few seconds stunned, but upon getting himself back together he noticed Ni'an had bolted towards Leon grabbed him by his collar and sped through the gate before he could even put his guard down.
"Fucker!!!" Thalion cursed rushing to stop them, however, unfortunately for him they had crossed the gates.
"GuardIan, we can go after them"
Thalion stood infront of the gate fuming as he watched the entire group leave. From his side the wizards rushed forward preparing to go after Leon.
"I can't follow, I'm restricted" Thalion said begrudgingly looking at the hall lord in the sky through the corner of his eyes.
The human emperor had sealed him to sky palace, in fact, he could never leave this place. His title as the guardian of the new world was but a sham, he was only a prisoner of sky palace.
"Besides, what awaits them on the other side is a far more gruesome fate" Thalion took in a huge breath of air.
The child of god would not be allowed into the central continent.
this was a decree from the human clans, and to that effect they had sent the most vile human to make sure it never happened.
