Magic swordsman of Orario

At the evening when everyone of the Loki Familia's captains and executives gathered, along with Arthur and Alicia the meeting started.

"On today's meeting, we are specifically gathered to adress a small issue with Arthur." Loki said at the start of the meeting.

Then everyone gazes on Arthur as he stood up and and said "While hunting at the dungeon, I noticed a special occurance that every time I stepped on the dungeon there was a high number of monsters spawn on my location and so to say high number, on the first day I hunted 500 goblins which is no means an ordinary spawn rate."

"That's really an astonishing number, normally there would be 20 or so goblins could be spawn on first floor." Finn said hearing that.

"Not only that, Arthur got mostly rare drops like goblin fangs from most of his kills, and the number is staggering 432 out of 500." Riveria said dropping the bomb.

"Finn did you noticed something?" Gareth said addressing Finn.

"What is it?" Finn was curious what Gareth found out.

"From the reports coming these days, there were unusually low number of monster spawned in other floors, this could be cause of it." Gareth said, an information unknown to Arthur.

"Yes, this could be cause of it, the dungeon directed it's energy specifically on the floor where Arthur is as if hell bent on eliminating Arthur." Finn said with a serious expression.

"Well let's not focus on that, what I want to discuss is I want to handle these drops directly to Hephaestus Familia bypassing the guild." Arthur said as the direction of their topic going off track.

"But why Hephaestus Familia, as you know, our Familia have a good Co-operation with Goibnu Familia. They are a blacksmithing Familia too." Gareth said as he have a good relationship with Goibnu Familia.

"Well, with all due respect Goibnu Familia is main production work is on order based so i doubt they can consume these large amount of drops as the time progerss, on the other hand Hephaestus Familia is big enough to continue consume these drop items as the time progress that is why I want this deal to be with Hephaestus Familia." Arthur said his reasoning loud and clear.

The members pondered and agreed with Arthur's logic.

"Well tomorrow, let's go to Hephaestus Familia and discuss this deal but I have already said earlier you may have to compromise this information of your unmatched hunting with Hephaestus, what do you think Arthur?" Loki said as approved his proposal.

"I have already said this goddess, if it's goddess Hephaestus, I don't mind at all, and let's go after I give Eina her share at guild." Arthur said reassuring her.

Then it was setteled that Loki along with Riveria will be giong with Arthur, to Hephaestus Familia to seal the deal.

The next day Arthur, first went to the guild to meet Eina and paid her share. She was quite anxious as Arthur didn't come over 2 days.

After reassuring her that he won't be rekless like that again, he said his goodbyes to Eina and left the guild.

Around twenty minutes later after Arthur reunited with Riveria and Loki, he along with them arrived in front of a huge luxurious looking shop.

He recognized this place, this was Hephaestus Familia's main store located on Northwest main street.

This luxurious looking shop has an emblem with two huge hammer and an erupting volcano. Coming this far, Arthur have a weird sense of anticipation who they are going to meet today.

Hephaestus Familia. A Familia made out entirely of smiths. Loki is here to meet up with Hephaestus.

The store was the base of operations for Hephaestus and her Familia's world-famous brand.

The third floor was devoted to management and also, the place where the goddess of forge's office was in.

The three of them went inside and headed straight to the third floor. Riveria talked for a moment with the guards standing in front of the door before they are finally allowed to get inside.

"Hephaestus!"

Loki quickly called out after seeing the red haired goddess sitting in front of her table, arranging some paperwork.

Hephaestus, dressed in her Familia uniform lifted her head to looked at them. Her uncovered eye scanned Arthur, the new face among them for a few moments before turning to Loki.

"Loki? Didn't expect you to come at my place in person." Hephaestus has a surprised look on her face as she stood up to prepare some tea.

She gestured them to take a seat before continuing. "I heard that you have got a new child for your Familia...."

Even she basically always in her Forge and office, she still got the information of other important matters. With how influential her familia was, it was very easy for her to do that.

"Mn. That's right." Loki said proudly as she took off the mask which Arthur was wearing then replied, "This here is Arthur, my Familia's newest child."

"Ohh.." Hephaestus took another glance at Arthur, after Loki uncovered his mask.

Silver hair, blue gem like eyes, and innocent but sharp looking apprence...

Hephaestus first impression of Arthur was.. Good. She was even momentarily stunned because how handsome Arthur is she was even doubted how can a child in morltal realm is this handsome as the gods of the heaven.

Arthur on the other hand wasn't paying attention to them at all.

He can't.

His eyes are focused only to the unsheated double-edged sword hanging horizontally on the wall like as if he was mesmerised. He's examining it with great intrest.

When Hephaestus noticed him like that, the corners of her lips slightly rose up and said, "What do you think..., about that sword?"

That's the question she normally asks to every individual that wanted to join her Familia, but she asked Arthur the same.

She just felt like asking him that question after seeing the look in his eyes while looking at that sword.

"It's an amazing sword.." Arthur replied straight, trying to hide the slight embarrassment he's feeling inside of him for getting caught ogling the sword on the wall.

"Can you tell me why you think it's amazing? What made you say that?" Hephaestus followed up another question and it made Arthur to start thinking about it seriously.

"It's very well made. The amount of skills and mastry requires to forge That kind of high quality sword is definitely astonishing." Arthur didn't hold back anything and said what's exactly inside his head. "It's undoubtedly the best sword I have seen in this world, so far..."

"Hee-hee.. Of course it will be the best, Arthur. Because it was Hephaestus herself who created that sword." Loki answered in a matter of fact tone. "Her smithing skills is always top-notch wherever she goes."

Hephaestus on the other hand didn't say anything for a moment but continue looking at Arthur. She would be lying if she wasn't surprised at all.

Call it as a smith's instincts or simply out of whim but there's this feeling inside Hephaestus, that's urging her to continue asking this boy a question. That there's something about him that's... How to say this... Special?

So she decided to trust her instinct.

"Then, what do you think was the biggest aspect of creating that sword?" Hephaestus then puts down the tea tray on the table before sitting accross them as her eyes never left Arthur.

"Hey Hephaestus, don't bully my child. Why are you asking him a lot of questions??" Loki irritatingly said. She felt threatened by the way Hephaestus was looking at Arthur with great intrest. She didn't like it!

"Ohh... I'm sorry Loki.." She apologized. But Hephaestus can't just give up like that so she added.. "Arthur right? If your answer can satisfy me, I will allow you to take one of the equipments displayed below us for free."

"REALLY?!!" Loki exclaimed in surprise. She almost can't believe what she heard.

One should know that any weapons displayed below cost hundreds of millions of Valisif not even billions.

But Hephaestus said that she'll give one of those to Arthur for free as long as he can give a satisfactory answer to her.

Just how crazy was that? Wait, why is she even doing this in the first place.

Loki's slit like eyes opened slightly, starring straight at Hephaestus trying to figure something out...
