Lost in the Otherworld

Good brother 44(1)

"I'm still a virgin!" Gaoyang, covered in blood, stood amidst the corpses, shouting with tragic determination.

Beside him, Qingling, holding her blade, frowned slightly. She thought Gaoyang had lost his mind, just like Pangjun had.

"Hahaha..." Officer Huang laughed heartily, momentarily forgetting the perilous situation.

"What!" From the pack of "Arhat Beasts" outside, Wang Zikai's voice echoed. "What did you say... Say it again!"

Gaoyang's heart leaped with joy: Wang Zikai was alive!

He shouted louder, "I'm still a virgin!"

"Roarrr!" The mound of "Arhat Beasts" exploded apart.

Wang Zikai, drenched in blood, had fully transformed into a beast. Towering over two meters, he grasped a beast's head in each hand as if dragging two ragged dolls. With a squelching sound, he crushed their skulls and flung them away, sending them crashing into the surrounding beasts.

He strode toward the house. On the way, the remaining seven or eight beasts charged at him, but they were no match for him. He sent them flying, and even tore one in half with his bare hands. Amidst the bloody carnage, he seemed like a demon reborn.

His chest heaved as he stepped over the river of corpses, approaching Gaoyang. Standing before him, Wang Zikai, his face drenched in blood, looked down at the shorter Gaoyang. "You really... still a virgin?"

"Yes," Gaoyang said, unsure whether to laugh or cry.

"I knew it!" Wang Zikai broke into excited gestures, "I knew you wouldn't lose your virginity before me! Hahaha! We really are brothers..."

"Bang!" A beast burst through the roof and landed inside the house.

"Watch out..." Qingling, swift as ever, swung her sword, but the beast was quicker. Its tail lashed out, sending her flying out of the door.

"Qingling!"

Gaoyang shouted, finally getting a clear look at the beast in the room—one of the "Slaughterers" among the Arhat Beasts!

This Slaughterer was in a completely different league than "Aunt He." It was young, fully transformed. Except for its vaguely human face, the rest of its body was that of a massive, crawling lizard, covered in dark red scales as hard as iron.

If this Slaughterer stood upright, it would be even taller and stronger than Wang Zikai.

After sending Qingling flying, it didn’t hesitate for a moment. Its powerful hind legs bent, gathering strength instantly, and it leapt toward Gaoyang with tremendous force.

At that critical moment, Wang Zikai instinctively shoved Gaoyang aside, saving him from the deadly charge. In the next second, the Slaughterer slammed into Wang Zikai’s waist, its sharp claws crossed and pierced his bronze-colored skin with ease, digging into his abdomen.

"Argh! You little bastard..." Wang Zikai's veins bulged as he took the hit head-on.

The Slaughterer didn’t stop; its legs continued to push forward. Wang Zikai was forced back, smashing into the wall, causing cracks to spiderweb across it, the entire wall on the verge of collapse.

The Slaughterer tried to pull its claws out to finish the fight, but Wang Zikai wasn’t about to give in. He quickly wrapped his arms under its armpits, locking it in place, preventing its escape.

Blood oozed from his abdomen, his expression contorted in pain, but he still smiled, "You... sneaky little bastard, trying to pull a fast one on me? Not today...!"

"Arrrghh!" With a roar, Wang Zikai summoned all his strength, snapping the Slaughterer’s arms with a sickening crack. Then, with a mighty tug, he ripped both arms clean off.

The Slaughterer shrieked in agony, stumbling backward as blood gushed from its severed limbs.

"Die!" Gaoyang charged, stabbing his dagger into the Slaughterer’s abdomen, tackling it to the ground as they wrestled fiercely.

Though it had lost its arms, the Slaughterer coiled its tail around Gaoyang’s hands, pinning them down as it opened its fanged jaws, lunging toward Gaoyang's throat.
