Luke and Xiaochi were responsible for questioning Amy Ma, also known as 'Mrs. Kenneth'.

When Luke and Xiaochi found Amy Ma, she stood up on her own initiative, thanked them, and said, "Captain Luke, thank you for saving me."

She then looked towards Xiaochi, "And you too, Detective, you both are my lifesavers."

Xiaochi reminded her, "My name is Marcus, Detective Marcus. Although I'm not yet a Detective Chief, I believe I will be soon."

Luke began, "How are your wounds now?"

"The wound on my arm has been redressed, I'm not seriously hurt." Betty and Amy Ma had been captured by the kidnappers but were not mistreated; they were given smaller than usual daily rations and showed minor symptoms of dehydration.

"We need to make a statement and ask some questions about the kidnappers."

Later, Betty vouched for me, and they released me.

The man then started questioning Betty, but she also didn't know anything.

After that, the man watched over us while the woman started rummaging through the house looking for valuable items.

But Mr. Kenneth is a simple man, he keeps his money in the bank, and there were no valuable items at home. When they couldn't find any money, they kidnapped me and Betty.

They held me and Betty hostage. I was instructed to drive the car with them sitting in the back with Betty.

Midway, they abandoned my car for a black sedan.

We drove in a big circle before arriving here, and then we were kept in an underground chamber.

Amy Ma was taken aback for a moment, then replied, "I have a good relationship with the owner, we are friends, and I sometimes promote them in my circle of friends."

"Amy Ma, if you truly appreciate us saving you, then please don't lie to us." Luke sighed and continued,

"We have visited the Modish Mom Confinement Center and talked with the owner Zhang Wenyan.

I know you have a financial relationship; you advertise the confinement center in your circle of friends, and you receive a substantial reward for each client you refer.

"No."
