Lord of the void realm

Chapter 15: Chapter 15: The First Soul Claimed

The deeper Raizen moved into the valley, the colder the world became. Air turned still. Time slowed. His steps made no sound.

From the shadows of a cliff, a pressure rose.

Then wings unfolded.

A beast emerged, its body the size of a mountain. Its scales shimmered with fragments of broken space. Its fangs pulsed with silent killing intent. Two enormous eyes opened, burning with disdain.

A void dragon.

Not a creature.

A force.

Its voice rang through the space between reality.

"You... a boy of flesh and short years... dare enter my lair without kneeling?"

Raizen stood still.

The dragon slithered closer, its presence folding the valley around it.

"Become my servant," it growled, voice dripping with ancient pride. "Feed me the hearts of men. Clean my claws. Worship my shadow. Do this, and I may let you live beneath my tail."

Raizen's face didn't change.

He raised one hand.

The dragon laughed—low and rumbling.

"You raise your hand to me? To a bloodborn child of the Eternal Rift?!" it thundered. "I've swallowed suns. I've crushed cities under my wings. Bow—"

Space cracked.

Raizen moved one finger.

And the dragon ceased.

Its form twisted, shrunk, shattered into fragments of void and vanished like dust in moonlight.

Silence returned.

Then something stirred in the space around Raizen.

A new tear opened—not his usual kind. This one was deeper. Older. Made of silence itself.

From it, Raizen pulled something back.

The dragon.

It returned, whole. But this time… it was different.

Its eyes had changed.

No longer proud.

No longer wild.

Now cold. Controlled. Obedient.

It bowed its head without a word.

Its soul had not only been captured.

It had been rewritten.

Raizen had sculpted its mind in the void—erased all resistance, reshaped its will, and carved a new truth into its being:

Serve him. Exist for him. Die for him. Rise again as many times as needed.

The void stirred behi

nd him.

The first soul had been claimed.

And it would not be the last.
