Chapter 6: How Could A Father Not Love His Children?
As Kieran grinded from mouth to mouth, hanging upside down in the sky, his mind clicked and, "Oof—" With a grunt of pain, Kieran fell to the ground, unable to move, his spirituality completely drained. However, he couldn't care less as he looked into Amon's "eyes." As he did so, "she" could no longer hold "herself" back and burst into laughter.
All he could do was manage to barely stick out a middle finger before passing out.

Coughing uproariously, feeling like he was going to die of suffocation, Kieran felt a nice stream of warm water flow down his throat, quenching his dry throat. After a while of greedily chugging down water, he slowly opened his eyes, only to see the warm smile of his wife.
Amon then gently put down the wine glass that contained the water as "she" brushed her hair aside and smiled, saying, "Congratulations, dear! You've been promoted to sequence 9 and became a beyonder. I have to say, it's remarkable you're still sane. Looking at your performance earlier, you could very well just be hiding that fact.
However, that just makes it more fun. Do tell me, what exactly do you plan on doing now? I mean, from how you've been acting so far, it seems like you were hoping for this to succeed?"
Kieran, now awake with both eyes open, merely sat up as he looked at his wife's beautiful face and said, "What would you do if I told you that I was going to implement a plan that will span the next 1300 years?"
Amon's mouth opened slightly in awe before grinning and saying, "Interesting, truly! But do you think you can pull it off? Who knows if you can even advance high enough to become a demigod before I parasitize you?"
I merely stared into "her" eyes before lowering my gaze to "her" belly and said, "Simple, really. You've probably already overheard, but I'm a traveler, much like your 'father.' Though I didn't come from Russia, and unlike many others, I have no cheat.
In fact, the only thing that can be called a cheat I have is seeing things one shouldn't and being uncorrupted by it. Since that's the case, I'll be using my knowledge to create a far less bleak outcome for our children. After all, how could a father not love his children?"
To that, the smiling face of Amon paused as "she" looked into Kieran's tender eyes, gazing at her stomach. Seemingly contemplating something, she looked up and said, "If that's the case, don't die too soon and leave our children to grow up without a father."
Kieran, still wearing the same smile, said, "Of course I will. This is a medical matter after all; I was infertile in my past life."
Quickly hardening his face to show his resolve, he got up and asked Amon to give him clothes of his request and to bring him to a remote village—or even a kingdom—that didn't come across many beyonders. Amon merely got up from "her" pose with both knees on the bed, staring at him, and opened a door for him, much to Kieran's delight.

A man in a fine white tunic and mantle, with a red stole that resembled that of a priest, except without the cross on it but instead with markings resembling the different signs of pathways, walked calmly. As he walked calmly down the cracked roads as, the wind seemingly ,by coincidence blew off the hood he had been wearing.
This revealed long, curly hair—though not too curly—with patches of gold and black. One side of his face, his right, was covered by hair, while the left had a small but noticeable mole. Below his one visible eye, and a black eye with hints of gold, let out a brief chuckle. His voice was not too deep and not too high, with a soothing quality.
His face was unmistakably that of a man,yet gentle like a father or mother you would hear described in tales. Undoubtedly, he would be called a kind and gentle man by anyone who saw him. Yet such a man walked into an alley calm and without hesitation, his feet as steady as an ox, stopping at the sight of a young man.
The young man could only be called 16 years of age at most, curled in a corner, near death. Seeing the child, the man knelt down in the dirty alley, yet strangely, his clothes were unstained. He spoke in a patient, soothing voice, "Child, do you require help?"
Those words, as if coming from a loving father, were something this child had undoubtedly never heard before. His voice, raspy from not having water for an undoubtedly long time, barely responded with a "Pleas—" before quickly dropping as dry heaves left his mouth. Seeing this, the man, with a serene smile, put his warm hand on the child's head as he spoke.
"Shh... speak not, child, for I have heard your pleas. You shall be at peace from now on. Close your eyes and drift to sleep, for when you awaken, you shall be free from pain and suffering." The child, as if resigned to his fate and most likely thinking he would die, was only comforted by the man's gentle, warm hands as his eyes closed.
Smiling as he healed the child the man thought 'As expected truly my plan without a doubt will come into fruition with this child alone though of course I have to make sure I find another to act as the 14th one could say of this hole plot of mine but really even if it did take a while to make those 4 sealed artifacts.
''She'' could have at least been a little less well Adam like with their request though it does align with what ''she'' did in COI so I can't say this is out of character for her, Ah I nearly forgot I still need that pesky 0-08 so my plans for the stopping of the apocalypse with go just as planned.' The man thinking of this smiled as he scooped up the child into his arms.
As he did so and walked out of the alley or nearly did he stopped shortly before putting the child onto his back as he hummed random songs from his past life they he could only vaguely remember with the fact his mind is still in a mess do to the knowledge that poured into it.
Of course the main reason he did so was to not attract any unfavorable opinions from the passing by pedestrians of course with his looks they thought nothing of it and instead thought of him as a father or older brother walking his tired and sickly brother home as the child was very malnourished.
(A/N : Your probably haven't gotten an update in a while when you see this sorry i'm packing and writing chaps for the Patreon. Fun Fact | Did you know spoilers of course the body along with some of the consciousness of the child of Chaos is just kinda out there? and another fact I think was glossed over in the story because cuttlefish didn't notice.
Multiple like more than 10 angels died in the either the pale disaster or the war of four emperors it could be both but either way this is how he's going to become an angel without fucking up the main stories basic plot all to much and of course how he's going to complete his plans. )
