Chapter 13: Hostel

---

After the end of God's Dog, a few days passed, and Jace was researching Big 4 crews because Vasco said he wanted to destroy the Big 4. A new problem was coming: stockings.

People were buying used clothes, spit, piss, etc.

**At School**

Michael was sitting on his bench when some old man came running, crying. He grabbed Mira's hand and tried asking her about Jasmine because she was the last one to see her.

Apparently, Jasmine was using Mira's photo to sell her stockings to perverts for money. Jack warned her not to do anything like this again. After that, Jasmine was never seen again.

Then Michael, Daniel, Zack, Vasco, and Jace were sitting together and discussing the hostel's source of money. Jace believed that the hostel was using runaway girls to sell stockings, create other fake IDs, and upload them there.

Everyone had anger visible on their faces, except Michael, who had a straight face the whole time. But inside, he was angry. His anger, however, was controlled and silent—waiting for the right moment to unleash. His anger would lead to a demon's wrath.

After that, Daniel decided to join the runaway family to uncover the illegal activities of the hostel.

Michael didn't do anything yet. He was just waiting for the right moment to destroy the hostel.

---

**A Few Days Later**

Michael was walking toward the school with Zack, Mira, and others. Suddenly, a guy and a small girl approached them.

The boy introduced himself: "1083 matches, 1079 wins, 4 defeats. I am Gandong Mighty Warren Chae."

Zack replied, "Hello, my name is Zack, and I lost count after beating a thousand."

Michael smiled and moved ahead. "Hello, my name's Michael. 978 missions, 978 completed. 100% completion rate."

Everyone sweat-dropped. They thought he was joking, but they didn't know the truth.

That day passed uneventfully.

---

**In Class**

One day, small Daniel came to school instead of big Daniel. But Michael didn't care about that. What caught his attention was Crystal being there instead of small Crystal.

Michael asked Crystal, "Huh? Why are you here?"

Crystal replied, "Do you not like that I came?"

Michael, startled, immediately said, "I didn't mean that."

Crystal laughed awkwardly. "My sister was ill, so I came to cover her lesson."

Michael nodded in reply.

The whole school day passed with Michael staying by Crystal's side.

After school, everyone decided to go on a trip. They all agreed enthusiastically.

---

**On the Train**

Michael was comfortably sleeping in his seat while Zack and Daniel sat nearby. The girls were seated together at the front of their car.

Some guys tried to hit on the girls, but Vasco stepped up and scared them off.

Later, when Vasco left at the station, the guys tried again. This time, Michael didn't plan to ignore it.

He stood up and walked toward the guy standing close to Crystal. But before he could tap the man's shoulder, Crystal had already punched him in the face. The guy flew back into another seat.

Michael was a little surprised but not for long. He gave Crystal a thumbs-up and dragged the man into the bathroom. After that, the man was never seen again.

---

**At Cheonlang**

After reaching their destination, Michael stretched his arms and said, "Well, that was a nice ride."

Then he noticed Daniel standing with them. "When did you get here?"

Daniel smiled awkwardly. "I don't know myself, too."

Everyone sweat-dropped at his words.

They enjoyed their time at the beach, playing in the waves and relaxing under the sun.

At dusk, they lit up fireworks. Suddenly, five thugs wearing shades appeared, despite it being nearly nighttime.

At first, the thugs seemed friendly, but after hearing Vin Jin's name, their expressions changed.

In an instant, Zack was on the ground, Daniel was in the air, and the guy who tried to intercept Michael had his face buried in the sand.

The situation was resolved when Mary Kim arrived and confronted the thugs.

---

**After the Trip**

A few days later, as Michael was heading back to his apartment, he saw a kid trying to unlock a car door with scissors.

Michael approached the boy. "Hmm. Well, you're talented. Who taught you this?"

The boy replied, "Mr. Carpenter taught me."

Michael asked, "What is your name, kid?" D

"Eli Jang," the boy said.

Michael said, "Do you wanto to go with me to my house?"

Eli agreed. He wanted to be loved and have a family, and he had done everything Mr. Carpenter told him to for that purpose.

---

*Apartment*

Michael told Eli to sit on the chair and brought him a cup of ramen.

Eli devoured the ramen in seconds. Michael observed him, smiling faintly.

"Stay here as long as you want," Michael said, before heading off to sleep.

---

**The Next Morning**

Michael woke up to find Eli sleeping on the sofa. Quietly, he went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. The smell of toasted bread and a half-fried egg soon filled the air.

Eli woke up, drawn by the scent, and walked over to the table.

Michael placed the plate in front of him. "Okay, eat your food."

After breakfast, Michael said, "I'm heading to school now. Stay here and protect the house, alright?"

Eli nodded, his heart swelling with happiness. Michael ruffled Eli's hair and said, "You can call me Hyung. I'll come back soon, and we'll go out for dinner."

With that, Michael left the apartment, closing the door behind him.

Eli sat there, staring at the door. He finally felt accepted into a family. Although it wasn't a big family, having a brother like Michael was more than enough for him.

---

**After School**

When Michael returned home, he opened the door to find Eli waiting for him. Michael smiled.

"You must be hungry. Let's go out to eat."

Michael quickly changed his clothes, and the two headed to a nearby restaurant.

After their meal, Michael took Eli to a clothing shop to buy some clothes. Money wasn't an issue for Michael; he had earned a lot from the missions he'd completed.

While walking, Michael noticed Eli staring at a TV in a store window. Without a second thought, Michael bought an 18-inch smart TV. He never needed one before, but Eli did—something to pass the time while staying home alone.

They also stopped by a smartphone shop, where Michael purchased a phone for Eli. Lastly, they went to the grocery store for food supplies.

---

**At the Grocery Store**

At the store, Michael ran into Crystal.

She waved. Michael, with Eli beside him, walked over. "This is my little brother, Eli Jang," Michael said.

Crystal looked surprised. "Why didn't you tell me you had a little brother?"

Michael shrugged with a faint smile. "You never asked."

After chatting briefly, Michael said, "Okay, we need to head back. Eli needs to sleep soon."

Michael, Eli, and Crystal went their separate ways.

---

**Back at the Apartment**

At home, Michael set up the TV and saved his number in Eli's phone.

"If you ever need anything, call me," Michael told Eli.

He also bought a divan for Eli to sleep on.

"So, Eli, go to sleep now," Michael said before heading to his bed.

Eli lay on his new bed, feeling warmth and safety he hadn't known before.

---

**The Next Morning**

Michael woke up and made breakfast. After eating, he asked Eli, "Do you want to go to school?"

Eli hesitated. "Yes, Hyung, but wouldn't that cost you too much?"

Michael smiled. "Don't worry about money. I'll find a school for you today."

Leaving Eli to watch TV, Michael went to school.

---

**At School**

Michael heard that the hostel was extending its reach to J High. The photo-selling of stockings was still ongoing.

Michael planned to investigate, but he decided to wait until nighttime so Eli wouldn't worry about him.

---

**Returning Home**

After school, Michael returned to find the apartment door lock broken. His heart sank.

Rushing inside, he saw the room in disarray. Eli's phone lay smashed on the floor. On the wall, a message was written in blood:

*How dare you change my Eli Jang. Come to [XXXXXX] at nighttime. I will teach you a lesson there.*

Michael's body trembled with rage. Memories of his past resurfaced—his brother Mike's lifeless body and Raphael's mocking words.

His eyes turned red, a deadly aura emanating from him.

He pulled out his phone and made a call. "Be ready."

Michael went downstairs and uncovered his Ninja H2R. Donning his helmet, he sped off to the location.

---

**The Showdown**

At the designated spot, Michael arrived to see familiar faces. It was his classmates and members of the hostel crew.

But Michael wasn't deterred. He stepped off the bike, threw his helmet aside, and locked eyes with Olly Wang standing at the center of the group.

"So, you're the one who changed my Eli Jang?" Olly taunted. "Boys, kill him."

Without hesitation, Michael charged forward.

He delivered a powerful punch to the first attacker, followed by an elbow to another. A swift kick sent two more flying. His movements were precise and lethal.

In the darkness, the only thing visible were Michael's glowing red eyes.

Minutes later, blood splattered everywhere. Bodies lay strewn across the ground in a gruesome pool of red. Michael stood amidst the carnage, his body drenched in blood, his aura more terrifying than ever.

He approached Olly Wang, who smirked, unafraid.

"You think you can scare me?" Olly sneered.

Michael's fist shot forward, landing squarely on Olly's face. The force sent him flying a dozen meters, crashing through a building wall.

For the first time in his life, Olly felt pain.

But the pain only fueled Olly's madness. He rose, ready to fight back.

Michael didn't wait. A devastating kick landed on Olly's chest, breaking his ribs.

Grabbing Olly's leg, Michael hurled him into the air. As Olly soared, Michael leaped after him, delivering a barrage of punches so fast they were nearly invisible.

Olly crashed to the ground, coughing up blood.

When he looked up, he saw Michael standing over him, eyes glowing red. Fear gripped Olly. He had only ever feared Eli Jang, but now this monster terrified him even more.

Michael grabbed Olly by the neck. "Where is he?"

Olly gasped. "Who are you to ask? He's my creation!"

Michael's grip tightened. "I'm his brother."

He threw Olly across the lot. Standing amidst the chaos, Michael finally spotted Eli surrounded by other children claiming to be Eli Jang. Relief washed over him when he saw his little brother safe.

Absolutely, let's continue the story with all details intact.

Final

Michael turned his focus back to Olly Wang. The tension in the air was thick as Michael stood over him. His hand gripped a knife, the cold steel reflecting the dim light from the nearby streetlamps. He could hear the sound of Eli's voice in the distance, his little brother was safe.

But there was no turning back now.

"It's your end today, hostel," Michael muttered under his breath.

As Michael drew the knife, ready to finish what he had started, a familiar voice interrupted him.

"Michael, don't do this," came Warren Chae's voice, stepping into Michael's path. "Let us deal with him."

Michael's eyes narrowed. His blood was still boiling, the urge to finish the fight surging through him. He glared at Warren. "Don't meddle in my business," he growled. "Step aside."

But then, to Michael's surprise, Vasco, Daniel, and Zack also stepped in front of him, blocking his path.

"Michael, stop," Zack said firmly, his tone more serious than ever before. "This isn't the way."

For a moment, Michael seemed ready to cut them all.

And then, just as Michael was about to lunge forward, a scream pierced the night air. A child's scream.

Turning his head, Michael saw a group of kids being thrown aside by Logan, one of the hostel crew members. At the center of the chaos stood Eli, surrounded by the other children, looking terrified.

Michael's heart clenched. Without thinking, he rushed to his brother's side, his anger only fueling his speed.

"Eli!" Michael shouted, his voice full of desperation.

Eli was in danger. Logan was about to hurt him.

Michael reached Logan in seconds and, without hesitation, launched a powerful kick to his chest, sending him crashing into a nearby wall. Logan groaned, unable to move. Michael didn't waste any time.

Rushing forward, Michael picked up Eli in his arms, pulling him close.

"Let's go home, Eli," Michael whispered, his voice filled with determination.

As Michael turned to leave, he saw Olly Wang staggering to his feet. The fight wasn't over yet. Olly's face twisted in fury. He was still alive.

But just as Michael turned to face Olly again, he saw something.

Olly Wang leaped from the building, his figure disappearing into a nearby fire.

It was over. Michael wasn't going to chase him down again. Olly was done.

"Mission completed," Michael said quietly, his voice full of cold finality. "Eli is safe now."

With Eli still in his arms, Michael began to walk away, the remnants of the battle scattered behind them. The other children, who had been under the control of the hostel, were freed from the twisted system that had held them captive.

As they walked away from the chaos, Michael couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. It wasn't just about the fight—it was about Eli, and the fact that he had found a new family. Michael had promised to protect him, and he had.

---

**Back at Home**

When they arrived back at the apartment, Eli was still shaken, but he was safe. Michael gently set him down on the couch and started to remove the blood-stained clothes he was wearing.

"I'll be okay, Hyung," Eli said softly, looking up at Michael with grateful eyes.

Michael nodded but said nothing, his thoughts still lingering on the violence of what had just occurred. Despite everything, he had kept his promise to Eli.

"Let's get you cleaned up, Eli," Michael said, his voice quieter now.

After a brief moment, Michael took care of Eli, helping him change into something more comfortable. He wanted to make sure Eli felt safe again, like he truly belonged here.

Once Eli was settled, Michael sat next to him, a rare moment of peace finally settling over them.

"I'm proud of you," Michael said, his voice soft, but firm. "You've done well."

Eli smiled up at him, his eyes filled with admiration. "Thank you, Hyung."

Michael placed a hand on Eli's shoulder, offering him a small smile. The journey they had taken wasn't an easy one, but they had made it through together.

---

The following days were quiet, almost too quiet. Michael continued to protect Eli, going out as needed, but always returning home to ensure Eli was safe. The hostel's grip on the city was weakening, and Michael had played a significant role in dismantling it.

But as time passed, new challenges emerged. The road ahead would not always be easy, and there were still battles to be fought. But Michael knew one thing for sure: no matter what happened, he would always be there for Eli.

And that was a promise he intended to keep.
