Living Doll of MHA

Chapter 63: Outing

The romantic meetings between Puck and her new partner started to slowly become more frequent as time passed.

One date became two then they started meeting up once or twice a week.

It soon became a regular thing for her to see him every day or two which had shown how things were progressing.

It was a normal day as Puck was performing her regular duties around Tiffany.

The regular location had changed which was quite a change of pace for each of them.

Rather than being locked up in a room or being stuck in the building most of the time, Tiffany had found some time to go out so she took the opportunity to have Puck escort her.

They both arrived at the location which was a large shopping mall that was full of all kinds of stores.

They both wandered through each store taking note of each small thing and Tiffany spent some of her funds to purchase some clothes and other things that she quite liked.

Their most recent stop was at a jewelry store and Tiffany was busy looking over various bracelets and necklaces. "Hmm... it looks good but still not quite to my taste. Do you have anything to recommend?"

The store clerk furrowed her brows before taking back the box then pointed brought out another one. "How about one of these? These jewels might be better, they would go well with your eyes I think."

Tiffany looked over them with little interest while occasionally sending a glance back toward Puck who was standing nearby. 'Hm?'

She could see that Puck was not looking toward her or focusing on her task but instead looking toward the box that contained several different pieces of jewelry that were on display.

Tiffany tried to follow the line of sight of Puck's eyes then her gaze landed on a couple of them that was likely one of them that Puck had been looking toward.

She looked over each one before settling her gaze on a cute cat couple pendant that split into two pieces and could be connected.

The two cats were in a yin and yang design while one was black and the other was a white color.

Tiffany had been trying to feel things out for some time and did not find an opportunity to bring it up so she sensed that the current situation was a potential opportunity. "Puck, is there anything you want?

I want to repay you for taking care of me like you have. How about something from here? Some of the jewelry here seem to be quite cute."

Puck hesitated for a moment before waving her hand. "Um... I think... It is okay. I have enough money, I can buy something myself."

Tiffany nodded upon hearing her response. "Alright."

She turned toward the store clerk and then asked. "Can I have a closer look at these? I want to try them on."

She soon began trying on a couple of them allowing her to touch them then she saw the gaze of Puck who was watching her trying on a couple of necklaces. "I will buy the two-piece couple necklace."

She hesitated for quite some time but when Tiffany was modelling it, she had come to quite like them.

Puck quite liked the design but she had been hesitant about spending her money to get such a thing.

Some people would not buy such things unless a relationship had been confirmed as being official and had progressed quite well to the point that one side or both had gained strong feelings for the other.

Puck did not know if she should buy something like that so soon but the relationship had already been progressing quite well and she believed that they both had feelings for each other.

The person she was dating was someone who was like her as an anthropomorphic human who possessed an animal-type Quirk.

Perhaps that was what had drawn her to him since such a person would be more accepting of her appearance while them possessing an animal-type Quirk had been quite similar to her and Butch making it slightly easier for her to move on from her past crush.

It was usually slightly easier for some people to move on when they met someone who had some similarities to the person they liked previously but others much preferred someone the complete opposite.

It depended on each person's preferences and situation but Puck was mainly looking for someone who could replace Butch since she did not dare to confess to him.

Things had proceeded from there and had reached the present state where she had to consider the relationship more seriously.

She decided to make another step forward even if it was a slight risk.

Puck may not have had the courage when it involved Butch but she was trying to move on and keep moving forward.

She quite liked the design of the couple necklaces since the cats reminded her of the man she had been dating for some time so she decided upon it after seeing them worn by Tiffany.

The purchase was made while Tiffany purchased a couple of other things.

The day of shopping came to an end as Tiffany came back with many things but that was not the only gain to be had.

The days passed again as her small action when shopping would allow her to make some progress finally.
