Yuan Bupo and Xuan Meimei's mouths were agape, their faces so rich in expression that simple shock was an understatement.

The thought of using a Divine Beast as a mount in exchange for medical consultation fees, for ten years, such audacity was only conceivable by Yun Sheng across the entire Wuji Continent.

"That won't do. I am a Divine Beast, and you're merely a Great Magic Director. I cannot demote myself by serving as your mount. However, if you one day become a Magic God, I might ponder upon it," Suanni, rarely not angered, spoke.

Being a Fire Demon, Suanni naturally had a more volatile temper compared to other Demon Beasts of the three natural attributes.

Yet, because Yun Sheng had cured its tooth and freed it from millenniums of agony, Suanni found itself unusually patient with her.

"Let's do this; I dislike being indebted to others. You just mentioned wanting something of great value. Presently, the most precious thing I have is just one item. If you can rightfully claim it, then take it," Suanni said, its eyeballs bulging as it glanced around Yun Sheng.

Though her visage was entirely ruined, in the depths of her ink-jade like eyes which shone brightly even in the dark night, there lay a composure and calm at odds with her age.

Her demeanor alone, when confronted by Suanni, was enough to rival those of legendary peak powerhouses of the Wuji Continent.

The eyesight of a Divine Beast is truly exceptional. How could Suanni fail to see that despite Yun Sheng being a Great Magic Director, she possessed a rare Multi-element Magic Soul and at least two other mysterious powers within her?

Especially the Jade Bracelet on her hand, as well as the odd force undulating from within her…

Having said that, Suanni moved a few steps away.

A Magic Array, which had been previously suppressed beneath it, now came into view.

This Magic Array, similar to the one they used to enter Suanni's domain, was somewhat different. It radiated a thick Fire Magic Element.

"This is the Fire Origin Power, the Holy Fire left by the ancient Fire Elf King, known as Elf Karma Fire. "Do you mean for me to try and claim this wisp of Elf Karma Fire?" Yun Sheng's eyelids twitched.

"Elf Karma Fire is the coveted flame for all Fire-element Mages. It will purify itself as your Magic Level increases. Once you become a Magic God, you can even wield it to slay all tangible beings between heaven and earth," the words of Suanni stirred everyone present.

Xuan Meimei spoke eagerly, "Honorable Suanni, I am also a Mage, and my Magic Realm is even higher than hers. Perhaps I am more suited to claim the Elf Karma Fire."

"Hmph, greedy ant, since you wish to try, then give it a try," Suanni recognized the greed in Xuan Meimei's eyes and did not obstruct.

Xuan Meimei heard this, immediately stepped forward, and said, "I'll try too, and I'll go before you."

The precious Elf Karmic Fire offered only one chance to be obtained. If Yun Sheng was to get it first, then everything would be too late.

After saying this, Xuan Meimei entered the Magic Array.

But after she stepped into the Magic Array, the Array showed no response for a long time.

The fierce flame was so intense it could melt any kind of the hardest ore on the continent.

Caught off guard, Xuan Meimei's face was scorched by the fire.

She let out a cry of pain. Her entire face and head were ablaze. Had it not been for the armor on her body, she would have become a ball of fire.

"Meimei, get down immediately," Yuan Bupo also turned pale with shock. After all, Xuan Meimei was part of the Xuan Family from Dihong City; he couldn't just watch her burn to death.

Flailing about, Xuan Meimei crawled on the ground as Suan Ni leapt over, kicking her out of the Magic Array with a single foot.

Xuan Meimei rolled on the ground a few times, covered in blood and mud.

Despite using a Magic Potion for treatment, her appearance was frightful. Once beautiful, her face now resembled a smashed persimmon, a blur of blood and flesh. Yun Sheng could clearly see the bones of her face.

"Fool, to dare to defy the majesty of the Karmic Fire," Suan Ni said disdainfully.

Now, Xuan Meimei truly became an unequivocal "ugly woman".

"Brother Bu Po, my face, my face, I will have father destroy this place," Xuan Meimei felt an intense pain in her face.
