Limitless The Strongest Revenant

Chapter 951: I won't kill her [2/2]

Bleeding all over, she then leapt back. As blood spilled out of her mouth, she then invoked with eyes full of hatred. Within a single second, she shifted from a human to a demonic chimera.

"{Red Leopard}, {Red Fire}, {Scorpion's sting}, {Bat's wings}."

It was exactly as her {Fates} described it. It was a red leopard that had a coat of fur that seemed alight with fire. The leopard's tail looked like a misshapen scorpion sting, and bat wings grew from the beast's back.

'Hmm. Compared to this, Amari's gorilla indeed looks plain. So this is a hybrid shifter.'

{You will regret attacking me, Limitless! For the survival of my home, I will rip your spine from your body!}

'Exa, {Sky Sentinel}.'

No longer able to speak, soul delivered her threat as she lunged for me. Her wings likely contributed to her incredible speed. It was as if someone had shot her out of a cannon.

[Attuned] warned me of the imminent danger. The skill allowed me to "feel" the range of the Leopard's attack. I moved my body to the left. Each inch I turned, the sensation from [Attuned] decreased. When I was no longer in danger, [Attuned]'s warning stopped.

Of course, moving at such precise and quick windows was only possible because of [Sky Sentinel]. It practically turned me into an evasion tank. When Nomvula's attack missed completely, her eyes finally showed a trace of fear.

{AHHHH!!! DIE!!! SEA SCUM!!!!}

Her entire body gushed out flames that turned her into a ball of fire. Once again, she lunged. And just like before, I danced inches out of her reach. The rage and frustration she bottled up made her tremble.

{THEN HOW ABOUT THIS!}

The flaming leopard then flapped its mighty wings and quickly flew into the air. As I did not intend for this to take long, I quickly followed it into the air. Using my superior speed, I moved behind her.

{ARGH!}

The chimera's scorpion tail lunged at me! But I ducked under it and came closer. Frantically, she tried to roll and turn to face me. But like a crazy stalker, I followed her even as she raced through the air. Higher and higher into the sky we climbed.

{GET AWAY!}

When she began to get unhinged, I started to lose interest.

"Guess, that's all you can do."

{HA! I GOT YOU!} {BEFUDDLE}!

The Induna invoked a new {Fate}; her eyes shone red like stars, and a cloud of energy surged from her to me. But when it finally arrived,

"{BURST}!"

Accelerating to my body's absolute limit, I charged at the African Shifter. I grabbed the neck of her leopard form and raised my right hand.

"Faker broadsword," I called out. A white-gray sword manifested.

I then used it to impale the flying animal in front of me in its neck. When the Faker blade stabbed deep into Nomvula's neck, her flaming skin vanished. And, contrary to what I expected, there was little resistance.

"GRAOOOOOAAARRRR!!!"

{AHHHHHH!!!!}

Pained screams and angry cries echoed from the African Reaper. Unfortunately, if this bitch wanted mercy, she was looking in the wrong place. Keeping her neck steady with my left hand, I forced the Faker blade to bury deeper into her flesh.

{NOOOOO!!!}

Along with her cry, her scorpion sting for a tail attacked me. But I moved my head an inch to the right, which allowed me to avoid it. In retaliation for her attempt on my life, I cleaved her head off from the chimera's neck. I then kicked away her body in the midsection.

"Exa, I want a giant electrified net. One big enough for this cat. Along with the gun to fire it."

[Using the Skywall 100 Drone defense system as a base. Adding an electrification module to the smart projectile and net. Schematics acquired. You may now bring it to life.]

Exa, then send the schematics for my new toy into my brain. It had exact measurements, dimensions, and components. It looked like a futuristic space gun.

"{Fabricate}."

My eyes then began to see traces of a bazooka-like gun floating beside me. I rushed to grab what appeared to be the pistol grip with my right hand. Soul and raw materials began to come together in real time around the imaginary design on top of my shoulder.

{YOU FUCKING SEASCUM! I WILL KILL YOU!}

The headless monster in front of me bled profusely from the stump on its neck. But the body still flapped its wings and charged. My gun to take it out was still not yet ready. I wondered if I should just kill this bitch.

[Daddy! Let me give you a hand!]

A cheerful voice then resounded in my mind. It was one I knew very well. Along with the voice was the numerous sounds of flying ordnance on a beeline to my position.

"Thanks Sabel. I am not allowed to kill her. Just smack her around a bit."

[Ohhh. That is too bad. Calling off the 600s.]

As Nomvula's dead animal corpse attacked me, the Switchblade 300s dashed past. They bombed her in groups of two or three. My daughter, a master of destruction, blasted the leopard from two and three directions at once.

If someone punched you from both the front and back at the same time, the blows would cancel each other's push. Although the impact that would wreak havoc in your body couldn't be said to be the same.

Sabel's carefully calculated detonation devastated the beast in front of us but kept her in place. Nomvula then closed her wings to protect her body. But my daughter's intense, relentless barrage tore apart the Induna's wings.

[Fabrication of electrified Skywall completed. You may fire the weapon when ready.]

At that moment, the gun in my hand came into existence. The weight of the long tube rested on my shoulder, and the smooth texture of the grip felt nice in my hands. A targeting module was in line with my eyes. It gave a readout to my opponent.

"Great. Exa, enhance the projectile with {Crush}."

[Done.]

"You're the best, Exa. Firing. Sabel. Please make way."

[Yes Daddy!]

Sable kept attacking until the last moment. She only stopped when I pulled the trigger.

A rocket flew out of the tube and exploded. Out came four rods that slowly separated. I heard the faint sound of buzzing and arcs of blue energy as the net opened completely.

The smoke cleared. Still reeling from Sabel's attack, the electrified net slammed into the African Reaper's body. Immediately, Nomvula's headless corpse began to writhe and spasm. A foul stench of urine began to waft through the air.

{AAAHHHHH!!!!}

Unable to endure, the leopard finally lost strength and began to fall to the ground. Not really having a reason to wait for her, I decided to return to the ground.

"{Rewind}"

My body disintegrated into light and reappeared on African soil. Only the severed head I was holding onto was no longer in my hand.

"Ah shit. I forgot about that."

As I needed her brain matter to use {Restore}, if her head fell down from that high up, there wouldn't be anything of it left. I watched a huge, headless chimera fall. Cat piss and blood rained down from the heavens.

It crashed to the ground a minute later. But my eyes remained glued to the skies, scanning for Nomvula's severed head. I had to find that head, or I was fucked.

"I must be the only one in the world with such a problem," I chuckled at the insanity of it all.
