Choi Sang-hyuk and Ha Jun-seo’s gazes clashed. The two stared at each other in silence for a moment.

Kim Min-seok’s heart pounded. He had no idea when curses might start flying or fists might start swinging. But unexpectedly, the two didn’t fight. They simply held each other’s gaze with eerily expressionless faces.

“Still scheming, Seo Ha-yoon.”

Choi Sang-hyuk turned his eyes toward Kim Min-seok as he spoke. Ha Jun-seo said nothing, but that silence was as good as agreement.

Kim Min-seok bit the soft flesh inside his mouth. This was strange. Even though Seo Ha-yoon had been caught two-timing, neither of them was beating him up or cursing at him. Instead, they were clinging to him, unwilling to let go. On top of that, they weren’t even trying to fight each other as rivals in love.

It seemed like during the three days Seo Ha-yoon had been unconscious, the two of them had already reached some sort of agreement. Could it be that they had even promised to share him?

That would be a problem. A very big problem.

“If you two don’t want to make a decision, I could always just choose one of you myself.”

Kim Min-seok spoke cautiously. Then, he took a deep breath, filling his chest with courage, and asked,

“Would you prefer to decide yourselves, or should I be the one to choose?”

“…Choose? You? Between us?”

Choi Sang-hyuk spoke slowly. His words and gaze carried a chilling menace.

A shiver ran down Kim Min-seok’s spine. It felt like he had touched something he absolutely shouldn’t have.

As Kim Min-seok hesitantly backed away from Choi Sang-hyuk, he bumped into something behind him—Ha Jun-seo.

He tried to turn around, but Ha Jun-seo firmly grasped his shoulders with both hands, holding him in place. Then, he whispered into his ear.

“You shouldn’t say things like that so carelessly, Ha-yoon.”

Front and back. Trapped between Choi Sang-hyuk’s piercing gaze and Ha Jun-seo’s unyielding grip, there was nowhere to escape.

They hadn’t even done anything yet, but the sheer pressure they exuded was overwhelming. It was clear—they weren’t the kind of men he could just brush off or handle lightly.

“…Uh, yeah. Now that I think about it, I don’t even remember anything, so making a decision so hastily doesn’t seem right. Let’s… revisit this conversation later, depending on the situation.”

Kim Min-seok quickly backed down, lowering his tail and flattening himself to the ground metaphorically.

It seemed to be the right move, as the suffocating tension that had been pressing down on him eased slightly.

Just moments ago, he had thought possessing Seo Ha-yoon’s body was like winning the lottery. But now, for a brief moment, a different thought crossed his mind—had he actually ended up in an incredibly dangerous body instead?

Choi Sang-hyuk, after answering a phone call, left the house with a reluctant expression.

He ignored the vibrating of his phone multiple times before finally giving in, as if he couldn’t afford to delay any longer. Whether he was actually a gangster or just something similar, it was clear he was busy with work.

When Kim Min-seok bid him farewell, there was a hint of barely concealed joy in his voice.

He was simply relieved to have driven at least one of them out of this house.

Behind the polite “Goodbye,” he was secretly whispering to himself, Please, never come back.

Choi Sang-hyuk paused for a moment, his pitch-black, heavy gaze lingering on Kim Min-seok before he finally stepped out through the front door.

Left behind in the house was Ha Jun-seo.

Seated on the sofa, he gestured for Kim Min-seok to come sit beside him—as if this were his own home.

As Kim Min-seok slowly made his way to the sofa, he thought about how he could get rid of the remaining man in the house as well.

Unlike Choi Sang-hyuk, who was clearly difficult to deal with at first glance, Ha Jun-seo was much easier to approach. He had a gentle and affectionate demeanor, which made him seem more manageable.

Of course, there were occasional moments when an icy chill emanated from him, reminding Kim Min-seok that Ha Jun-seo wasn’t an ordinary man either. But at the very least, he was easier to handle than Choi Sang-hyuk.

“Ha Jun-seo, shouldn’t you be heading out now?”

Kim Min-seok spoke casually. His words were polite, but the underlying message was clear—Hurry up and leave.

He wanted to kick Ha Jun-seo out as soon as possible so he could thoroughly explore the house and enjoy the life of a rich heir.

But Ha Jun-seo showed no intention of leaving, not even the slightest bit.

“I can’t just leave Ha-yoon alone when he’s not feeling well.”

“Don’t you have anything to do?”

“Nope. Unlike Choi Sang-hyuk, I have plenty of free time. I’ll stay and take care of you until you’re feeling better, so don’t worry.”

In other words, he had no intention of stepping even one foot out of this house.

Kim Min-seok could no longer hold back his irritation and let a hint of annoyance show on his face.

Even though it was just a tiny slip, he was sure Ha Jun-seo had noticed.

Yet, as if he hadn’t seen anything, Ha Jun-seo casually picked up a piece of fruit and held it up to Kim Min-seok’s mouth.

Not wanting to waste the expensive fruit, Kim Min-seok instinctively opened his mouth and took a bite.

As he chewed, still wearing a disgruntled expression, Ha Jun-seo suddenly stood up from the sofa.

“I should start preparing dinner. You must be tired, so just rest for now.”

He gently ruffled Kim Min-seok’s hair before heading toward the kitchen.

It was obvious that he had been here multiple times before. Without a hint of hesitation, Ha Jun-seo opened the refrigerator and began taking out ingredients.

He pulled out the ingredients one by one with practiced ease, his hands moving with precision as if he knew exactly where everything was.

Ha Jun-seo busied himself with preparing dinner.

Although Kim Min-seok hadn’t managed to kick him out, at least he was no longer under his constant watch.

Now, he could finally do what he had been dying to do since earlier—explore the house.

The first place he entered was the master bedroom.

A large, neatly made bed sat at the center, flanked by nightstands on either side. The sleek, modern lamps on the nightstands made the room feel just like a luxury hotel suite.

At the foot of the bed, a door led to a vanity area and a small bathroom.

The entire space was impeccably clean, showing almost no signs of use. However, the neatly arranged cosmetics on the vanity proved that someone did, in fact, live here.

The exploration of the master bedroom ended quickly.

Before leaving, he pressed down on the plush bed a few times, imagining how effortlessly he could sink into sweet dreams if he lay down on it.

As he stepped out, he caught a glimpse of Ha Jun-seo in the kitchen, his back turned as he chopped something.

Glancing at him briefly, Kim Min-seok slipped into another room.

This one was a walk-in closet.

Three of the walls were lined with built-in wardrobe racks, packed with an overwhelming number of clothes.

It looked like it would take the entire inventory of a high-end boutique to fill a space this large.

Realizing that all of this belonged to his new body, a huge grin spread across his face.

It was a completely different world from the one he was used to—where he rotated between three pairs of jeans and a few shirts.

Kim Min-seok wandered around, letting his fingertips brush over the fabrics. Then, he made his way to the center of the room, where a white dresser stood.

The top drawer had a glass cover, allowing him to see inside without opening it.

Inside, a collection of luxury watches was neatly arranged.

Even with no knowledge of watches, Kim Min-seok could tell at a glance that each one was exorbitantly expensive.

And that wasn’t all.

A jewelry organizer occupied one side of the glass display, filled with sparkling rings, bracelets, and earrings.

Every single piece gleamed with elegance and opulence.

“Did he have his ears pierced?”

Kim Min-seok stepped closer to the full-length mirror in the corner and examined his earlobes.

Sure enough, there was a piercing hole in each ear, though he wasn’t currently wearing any earrings.

He had never pierced his ears or worn accessories before, but this was a great opportunity.

With a smirk, he opened the glass case and ran his fingers over the earrings.

Since he had already inherited this ridiculously good-looking face, and his ears were conveniently pierced, he might as well try wearing an earring.

There weren’t any overly flashy designs—most of them were small piercings with tiny round studs on the back.

Kim Min-seok alternated between looking at his reflection and the selection of earrings before finally picking out a pair.

A pair of small earrings with bright red gemstones caught his eye, gleaming under the light.

Holding one up to his ear, he admired how it accentuated the beauty mark beneath his eye, giving him an undeniably sensual look.

Some might say there was no benefit in a man exuding sex appeal, but really, was there any harm in it either?

In an era where male idols wore full makeup and styled themselves to perfection, being pretty, stylish, charming, and even seductive—regardless of gender—was the ultimate advantage.

With his mind made up, Kim Min-seok carefully attempted to put the piercing in.

Since it was his first time, he fumbled multiple times, dropping it to the floor and scrambling to find it, before finally securing it in place.

Damn, this looks good.

Seeing the small earrings sparkle on both earlobes in the mirror filled him with satisfaction.

Now that he was on a roll, Kim Min-seok got even more excited.

He pulled out a simple-looking ring from the jewelry case and slipped it onto his thumb. Then, he selected a watch and fastened it around his wrist.

Next, he moved to the racks of clothes, pulling various outfits off their hangers and holding them up to his body.

With this many clothes at his disposal, it felt like a waste to spend the entire day in the same outfit.

The wardrobe had everything—from casual wear to extravagant outfits fit for a club or even a stage. Every single piece was undoubtedly from an expensive brand.

After trying on a few, he ultimately settled on the safest choice—simple pants and a button-up shirt.

He wasn’t going anywhere, so dressing too extravagantly felt unnecessary.

Maybe it was because he was so used to wearing plain, worn-out clothes, but he just couldn’t bring himself to wear anything too flashy.
