"So you meant to say that these super sects have the power to defend against even Separation and Union Martial Artists?"

Lu Zhen felt like this was beyond his comprehension. As a person who has faced two such powers already, he could feel the absolute difference in strength and invincibility.

Lu Zhen narrowed his eyes, but in the end, all he could let out was a breath of warm air.

"What are you thinking about? Are you even listening to me while I am explaining?" Jui Luli pulled his sleeve with a pouting face.

"Haha, sorry, but whose force did Kong Jiang belong to?" Although there was a smile on Lu Zhen's face, his eyes glinted with a fierce light.

"Kong Jiang belongs to the Azure Lake Sect. They dominate Kong Mountain," she explained casually and went away to recuperate the damage caused by the flames. Even though it was suppressed by the martial artist, there was still sustainable damage done to it that would still need to be recovered from.

"Kong Mountain? What a strange name." Lu Zhen touched his chin. Since their surname was matching, he could already imagine the status of Kong Jiang.

Although he might only be a High First-stage Martial Artist, his status is definitely higher than an ordinary one.

"So I will have to really fight them on a death siege, and potentially many who might come after me." He rubbed his forehead with an extremely tired expression.

Lu Zhen knew that if this Azure Lake Sect really attacked, they would come with full power. Not to mention that there were benefits tied to it, but there was already the grudge of killing.

And the most important aspect was that he was lacking in strength currently. For a high First-stage Martial Artist, he might be able to handle it, but a Peak First-stage Martial Artist?

Lu Zhen had to tread carefully. The difference between each small level of the First-stage Martial Realm was more than the gap of a Second-stage Martial Artist from a Third-stage Martial Artist, and it progressively grew in disparity.

This was even more so for the peak of the First-stage Martial Realm.

This was the only thing that was constantly being levelled up. Except for this, Lu Zhen could really not rely on everything.

He clenched his fist and looked at the clear blue sky:

He looked towards the destruction before him:

Clenching his fist, Lu Zhen went towards Jiang Xue and helped out.

Soon after settling everything, Jiang Xue decided to leave with her entire force and follow Lu Zhen. This came as a surprise to Lu Zhen, but nevertheless, he accepted it.

As they were departing, Jiang Xue couldn't help but ask:

"What about the other forces?"

"You want me to do something about them?"

Lu Zhen asked with a raise of his brows.

"No, every force in this city is tied to a force behind, and it will become troublesome if they really retaliate. We don't have to make enemies everywhere," Jui Luli spoke with a shake of her head.

Lu Zhen patted her on the head with a smile on his face:

"That's right and correct, but there is something that you don't know about here."

He looked coldly at the center of the city but didn't make a move:

"Let's go."

"Hmm." Jiang Xue narrowed her eyes, but she didn't speak either, and soon their party quickly left the place amidst all this confusion.

When their party left the city, a figure appeared over the city walls, watching them silently go away.

"Sigh, they finally went away."

Lin Yazhou shook his head. That's right—this figure was this old man!

"I never expected that I would find such a gem here. If he could be trained more, then we might have another expert for us to defend the entire humanity."

As he was talking, another figure appeared behind him and fell to the ground on his knees:

"Master, why did you appear here at this place?"

The shadow flinched:

"Even for you, Master?"

Metals clanging and the roars of demons sounded throughout the courtyard!

"Humans have always come out on top, despite all odds—and it will be the same while I live, and the same even when I die," Lin Yazhou roared.

Lu Zhen, who was riding a horse, looked behind him with narrowed eyes.

"Hmm, my bloodline is unusually active."

The faint suspicion in his heart seemed to be blooming to fruition, and he sighed.

"If that idea is correct, luckily I didn't use my bloodline form in the city. Otherwise, I might have awakened something that I couldn't cope with."

He mumbled and charged forward on his horse again without even looking back.
