Level Up in Martial World

Chapter 354: Jui Luli Anxiety

"You know, I am very angry right now."

Lu Zhen spoke in a slow but deliberate tone, his eyes looking at her with meaning.

Obviously, Jui Luli felt uncomfortable under his stare and muttered while hugging herself,

"What's wrong?"

"You know what's wrong with yourself," Lu Zhen said casually, narrowing his eyes.

"You were the one who wanted to play tricks on me, weren't you?"

"What are you talking about?"

She avoided his stare with a hint of guilt in her heart, and Lu Zhen knew he had confirmed his guess.

"Haha." He walked up to her with a chuckle and raised her chin to his eye level. "You are very beautiful, and I have spared you countless times, yet you still dare not tell me the full story of the technique you gave me."

Jui Luli trembled in despair. Her fear of Lu Zhen had reached an unstoppable point. His gaze sent a shiver down her spine, not only because she feared him but also due to the enslaved tattoo he had imprinted on her, which put her in such a state.

She bowed directly.

"Please forgive me. If you want to practice the technique, you would at least need the cultivation technique as a reference. Otherwise, it would be impossible for you to build—"

Jui Luli paused, her eyes widening as she saw the floating sword in front of her.

Ordinary people couldn't see it; however, as a Mental Power Martial Artist, she noticed the thin line at the base of the sword being controlled by Lu Zhen.

She was shaken. Her trembling hand reached out to the sword before she looked up at Lu Zhen, barely able to utter a single word:

"How?"

"Hehe, you underestimate me, woman," Lu Zhen said with a shake of his head.

"As long as I put my heart into it, there is nothing I cannot learn."

As he spoke, he released a terrifying surge of Mental Power, which leaked out like a broken dam without restraint.

Jui Luli gasped for breath and fell to the ground.

"How could your Mental Power be so vast? It was just a pitiful amount before."

"Hehe, you don't need to know."

Lu Zhen lifted her chin and looked at her terrified expression. Seeing this, his mood gradually diminished, and he let go of her chin, letting her fall to the ground.

"Forget it. Leave it." He shook his head with a sigh. Seeing her beautiful face in such a state made him lose interest, and he quickly left the place.

After Lu Zhen left the room, Lin Yi tentatively peeked inside.

"What were you doing, sister?"

Jui Luli frowned and knocked him on the head. "Don't think about things you shouldn't."

With that, she coldly turned around and left.

"Is this my fault?" Lin Yi pouted and shook his head.

Jui Luli felt a little guilty for blaming her sister like that, but for now, her mind was occupied with the terrifying power of Lu Zhen.

This man was even more frightening than she had imagined. He was not only a bloodline martial artist but also possessed Mental Power that could grow over time. Now, he could even use the techniques she had provided him.

Not to mention his identity as an alchemist.

The more she thought about it, the more uneasy she felt. It seemed he no longer liked her, and she had already offended him twice. Anxiety filled her mind.

"Miss Jui, please wait. Your placement for your force has been decided, and the city lord has very generously gifted you the first-place reward," the old man, who was the referee, said coldly.

"Oh." Jui Luli paused, glanced at the old man, and waved her hand. "I have something else to do for now."

She walked forward, swaying her hips.

The old man watched with an expressionless face, but inwardly, he was full of disdain.

"This force is trash anyway. The only reason they've come this far is because of that bulky youth. But how could he be limited by such a place? When he leaves, you all will still be nothing."

Jui Luli had already chased after Lu Zhen, panting as she grabbed his sleeve.

"What is it?" he asked, a gleam in his eyes.

"I wonder if Young Master Lu Zhen would like to stay in our residence for a while?"

"Oh, sure, if you say so."

Hearing this, Lu Zhen welcomed the offer with open arms but suddenly frowned. "But didn't Miss Jui dislike me? I won't be thick-skinned and—"

"I like you! I love you!" she shouted, eyes shut tight.

"Well, if you say so."

Lu Zhen chuckled, and the group left quickly after she collected the reward, not lingering for long.

The reward came in the form of land, which would allow them to establish a foothold in the city and set up trade there.

Watching Lu Zhen's departing figure, the five First-stage Martial Artists remained silent, each lost in their own thoughts.

Although Koang Jian was the city lord, he actually held little power over these individuals, as they were all powerhouses from super sects—including himself.

The reason for this strange gathering of elites remained unknown, but today's events would undoubtedly stir trouble and send shockwaves through the martial world like never before.

After all, the disciple of a semi-master alchemist, though the title sounded strange, was still someone under an alchemist who had the potential to produce pills at the level of Separation and Union Martial Artists.

And as was well known, there was only one such Martial Artist on the surface level of the entire martial world.

Obviously, they would have some interactions. But what was the prestige of that powerhouse? With a mere wave of his hand, the entire martial world could turn against Lu Zhen.

Of course, certain conditions had to be met. Although the surface seemed peaceful, a storm was already brewing in the background.

Lu Zhen would have to incur his terrifying wrath if he was an ordinary person but he was also an Alchemist, that changed the whole board!
