Legal Hearts

This isn't a chapter—just a simple placeholder letter, in case this novel ever gains more recognition in Korea. Ultimately, that's my main hope, for this story to reach more readers, and maybe even inspire a drama adaptation. If that happens, I'd be willing to put in a lot of time and effort, even sacrifice some resources, to make it a reality. But, of course, how well my novels perform and who connects with them is out of my control.

If, in the distant future, "Legal Hearts" does become well-known, there's something I'd like to ask.

I'm not sure if everyone's familiar with these two webtoons, but I want to acknowledge that this novel is heavily inspired by them. Without the influence of these two webtoons, "Legal Hearts" might never have come into being, Study Group and Friendly Competition (and the drama Friendly Rivalry).

To the creators of those webtoons, I'd be honored if "Legal Hearts" could be connected to their universe in some way. None of the characters in my novel are from those webtoons, and everything in Legal Hearts is entirely my own work. But it would be amazing to see my story linked to theirs in some small way.

That said, if this doesn't happen, that's perfectly okay. In all honesty, this letter probably won't even reach the creators, especially since I'm still an unknown writer striving to improve my craft. But I remain hopeful for the future.

To the readers who are picking this up for the first time, I truly hope you enjoy the story. I'll do my best to keep it engaging for you all.
