Legacy of Hero: Rise of Kairon

Chapter 65: — Dreams, Encounters, and the Lost Spear

The nightmare began with a whisper.Flames. Screams. A crimson sky.And amidst the rubble — Ryan, kneeling.

— "NOOOOOOO!"In his arms… Annie. Lifeless. The pain tore deeper than any blade. The world collapsed. And then — he woke up.

Gasping, drenched in sweat, chest pounding. The Stormbreak mansion was quiet, save for the distant chirping of early birds. The sun was barely rising.

Ryan got up. As he walked downstairs, he saw an unexpected scene.

— "Saddie, my princess, let's go!" — Inavy said excitedly, fixing his tie in the mirror. — "We can't be late for your favorite cartoon's live show!"

Little Saddie, dressed in an adorable cosplay, came down giggling. Inavy ran to her, knelt like a fanboy, and hugged her dramatically.

Then he noticed Ryan watching from the staircase.

— "Oh! Young Ryan! Breakfast is ready. Just ask Ralph, the butler."— "Yes, sir... I mean, Inavy."— "Sir what? Come on, just call me Inavy! Now let me take my star to the show. Right, Saddie?"

— "Yes, Daddy!" — she beamed adorably.

Inavy left with his daughter on his shoulders, laughing loudly.

Ryan smiled lightly and went to the other boys' room.

— "Ethan, Ryu... breakfast is ready."

— "Just five more minutes, man..." — Ryu mumbled, wrapped in blankets.— "We went to bed too late..." — Ethan muttered, rubbing his eyes.

At breakfast, Ryan remained quiet. The nightmare still weighed on him. Ryu noticed.

— "You okay, Ryan? You look like you saw a ghost."— "Just... thinking." — he answered, forcing a smile.— "First time going out with a girl, huh?" — Ryu teased.— "And you're not with Abby today?" — Ethan countered.— "Huhuh, I make it work!" — Ryu smirked.

🌸 The Sky Park of HeroCity — The Perfect Date

A floating park with celestial lakes, glowing bridges, and levitating gardens set the scene for their outing — straight out of a fairytale.

There they were: Annie, Abby, and Eliara — casually dressed yet stunning. The streets stopped to admire the trio.

Then came Ryan, Ethan, and Ryu.

The pairs formed naturally:

Ryan & Annie

Ethan & Eliara

Ryu & Abby

As they walked, Ryan's Reversum pulsed.

A faint glow in his eyes — a vision.

Annie. Dead. Again.

— "Yan?" — she asked, touching his arm. — "You okay?"

— "Just... a little tired."— "Be honest, dummy."

He hesitated — then told her everything. The nightmares. The visions. The Reversum. And finally:

— "In one of them… you died. In my arms."

Annie froze. Ryan held her hand.

— "But I won't let that happen. Not to you… not to the person I love."

— "R-Repeat that?" — Annie blushed.

— "I love you, Annie. Always have."

Fireworks lit up the sky. She leaned in. They were about to kiss…

— "Yo, lovebirds! Fireworks? Classic!" — Ryu suddenly appeared with Abby.

Annie sighed, blushing furiously.

🧠 Elsewhere: Ethan & Eliara

— "I know I'm 'special'... but sometimes I hate who I am." — Eliara confessed. — "The Human Singularity isn't a gift. It's a cage. I just want to live like one of you."

— "You already do." — Ethan hugged her. — "And I'll help you control it. And fly to the U.S. whenever I can."

She cried softly… but smiled.

💥 Training Room – Kane Jayson

Alone, Kane trained inside the gravity chamber of his family's mansion.

Sweating. Clenching his fists. Remembering Ryan.

— "You tricked me, damn nerd..."— "But I'll surpass you."

He pushed his antimatter — his Second Awakening — past its limit.

— "I'll be number one. Everyone will see."

🌌 Far Away: Kairon's Throne

From a floating throne among galaxies, Kairon — the Universal Emperor — observed Earth.

Before him knelt a battered Kai.

— "Master... the humans are stronger than we expected..."

— "I know. That's why I sent Bhor."— "Bhor? But he's the weakest of all!"— "He wasn't sent to fight. He was sent to retrieve what belongs to me. The Spear of Destiny."

Kai's eyes widened.

— "But… it was destroyed 17 years ago by Inavy Stormbreak. During Tyrus' betrayal!"

— "Yes. Tyrus stole my sacred weapon. And in doing so, fused with its core. He didn't die. Yon imprisoned him in Eternal Judgement. And that's where he remains. But I can bring him back."

— "Master, Tyrus is a snake..."— "And I... am the Emperor. He will kneel to me."

Kairon then revealed Ryan's image.

— "This boy… the aura-less one. The Reversum. He is dangerous.I will kill him with my own hands. And Inavy as well."

🛡️ The Sacred Sanctuary of HeroCity

Bhor, disguised, snuck through the hidden vaults.

— "Just grab the broken spear and bounce... easy."

He reached the shattered remains of the Spear of Destiny — dull, fragmented, asleep.

But when he touched it —ALARM TRIGGERED!

— "Crap! They found me!"

Lorien Valtier appeared, his aura blazing.

— "Stop right there, galactic thief."

— "I… I was just looking!"

— "You tried to steal something sacred. Now you'll pay."

Lorien's Seraphim Eyes activated. The room trembled.

— "Goodbye."

But just before the strike, a black portal opened.

Bhor escaped at the last second.

— "Damn it!" — Lorien roared, slamming the wall. — "They took the spear..."

🌠 Final Scene – The Transformation

In Kairon's dimension, Bhor crashed face-first onto the floor.

— "Kai! You saved me!"

Kai rolled his eyes.

Kairon approached.

— "Well done, Bhor. You've served me well."

He touched Bhor's forehead. A surge of black energy engulfed him.

Bhor's body grew. His aura changed.

— "You are now one of the Supreme Heralds. Feel honored."

— "I'm… important?" — he trembled.

Kairon then looked into the void.

— "The heroes… are not ready for what's coming."
