Laid-back Highschooler In Bleach (With Soul Cube)

Ch76- Awakening More FullBring Abilities

Months had passed since Kai, Orihime, and Tatsuki had first set foot inside the old, decrepit warehouse. Today, they found themselves back at the same location, this time with the additional company of Chizuru, Michiru, Yoruichi, Rukia, and Matsumoto.

As they walked through the familiar, echoing expanse, the dust particles floating in the air seemed to spark memories of the hard work and determination that had led to the awakening of Orihime and Tatsuki's Fullbring abilities.

"Feels like ages since we were here," Orihime commented, her eyes tracing the worn-out structures that had witnessed their struggles.

Kai turned to her with a slight smile. "Time flies when you're preparing for an impending apocalypse, right?" His light-hearted comment was met with mixed reactions, ranging from an amused chuckle from Tatsuki to a sober nod from Matsumoto.

"Alright, let's get started," Kai announced, turning towards Chizuru and Michiru. His gaze was serious, "We're here to help you two unlock your potential Fullbring powers."

Yoruichi, Matsumoto and Rukia stood at a distance, watching the proceedings with a quiet interest. The experienced Shinigami couldn't help but feel a pang of nostalgia, remembering their own initial days of training.

Like before, Kai asked Chizuru and Michiru to bring along their most cherished items. Chizuru had a broken camera lens from an old camera, a keepsake from her late grandfather. Machiru carried a well-worn pair of ballet shoes from her years of dancing.

Kai explained the nature of Fullbring once again. He emphasized the importance of emotional attachment and the channeling of power through their cherished items. Orihime and Tatsuki offered their own insights, sharing their experiences to encourage and guide the two newcomers.

"Remember," Kai said, leaning against a pile of crates, "Fullbring is about channeling your soul's energy into an object you have a deep emotional bond with. You have to understand that bond, feel it, and then bring it forth."

Chizuru held the broken camera lens in her hand, her eyes narrowed in focus. She cherished the memories attached to this lens, which once belonged to her late grandfather. The man who taught her the beauty of capturing moments, the subtle art of photography. He wasn't just her grandfather; he was her mentor and her inspiration.

Machiru was no different. Her hands gently caressed her worn-out ballet shoes, the testament of her years of dedication to the art of dance. Each scuff mark, each bit of wear and tear, was a part of her journey—a journey of determination, grit, and passion.

"Try to remember the feeling attached to your objects," Tatsuki suggested, her voice calm and encouraging. "For me, it was remembering the rush I felt every time I put on my boxing gloves. The thrill of a fight, the adrenaline pumping in my veins. It helped me connect to my Fullbring."

Orihime nodded, adding, "I had to remember the love and protection I felt for everyone around me. It was about connecting to that feeling of wanting to heal, to make things better."

Chizuru and Michiru closed their eyes, their faces pinched in concentration. It wasn't easy, reaching within themselves to find that strong bond. There were times of frustration, times when they felt like giving up. But each time, they were met with encouraging words and patient guidance from their companions.

Kai, despite his usual laziness, was an excellent teacher. He didn't push them too hard, understanding that each individual's journey with their Fullbring was different. He gave them space, time, and most importantly, the assurance that they were not alone in this.

As Chizuru and Michiru immersed themselves in their personal memories, Kai returned to the group of women observing them. His intense gaze softened a bit as he met their eyes. "Come closer," he said, his voice carrying across the vast expanse of the warehouse.

Yoruichi was the first to respond, her lithe form moving gracefully towards him. Her sultry smile was accentuated as she wrapped her arm around his, a provocative gesture that caused Rukia and Matsumoto's faces to turn an interesting shade of red. Memories of that certain night when they had seen Kai with his girls flashed in their minds, making them both feel a peculiar mix of shock and curiosity.

Once they regained their composure, the two of them followed suit, walking over to join Kai and Yoruichi. "I will help you awaken your Fullbring abilities too," Kai stated nonchalantly, causing a ripple of surprise to wash over the three women.

"Kai, we're Shinigami," Rukia replied, her eyebrows furrowing. She wasn't sure what he was getting at. Fullbring was a power unique to humans who had been affected by Hollows. Shinigami were completely different beings. Could they even possess such powers?

"So?" Kai retorted, his face a picture of indifference. "I'm a Shinigami too." With that, he moved his hand to the side, and in the blink of an eye, ethereal claws materialized in his grasp.

The three women were taken aback by the sudden appearance of the claws, their eyes widening in shock and, admittedly, a touch of fear. The claws weren't just for show - the raw, uncontained power emanating from them was palpable, threatening to tear apart the very fabric of their souls.

Yoruichi, however, didn't flinch, instead squeezing Kai's arm with a smirk on her face. "Always full of surprises, aren't you, Kai?" she asked, her voice filled with amusement.

"Something like that," Kai replied nonchalantly, retracting the claws back into his body. His gaze turned serious as he looked at Rukia and Matsumoto. "Fullbring is the power to manipulate the souls that reside in all matter. Just because you're Shinigami doesn't mean you can't tap into that power."

Rukia exchanged a glance with Matsumoto, both of them feeling a mix of curiosity and apprehension. This was uncharted territory for them, and they didn't know what to expect. But they trusted Kai, despite his unusual methods and laid-back attitude. If he believed that this could work, then they were willing to give it a shot.

"Okay," Rukia finally said, nodding her head. "We'll give it a try."

Matsumoto echoed her sentiment with a determined nod of her own, her gaze locked onto Kai's. "We're in this together."

Kai returned their nods with one of his own, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Alright then," he said, clapping his hands together. "Let's get to work."
