Chapter 4: The First Lesson Part 2
+At Class C
They are facing their homeroom teacher, the Angel Daddy, Takeda-sensei. The atmosphere remains calm, as the students reflect quietly.
Takeda-sensei's gentle demeanor was a stark contrast to the formidable presence of Nakamura-sensei.
His soothing voice resonated with warmth and understanding, like a soft melody that eased the students into a state of comfort and curiosity.
"Welcome, Class C," he started, his smile reflecting authentic warmth.
"In Class C, our greatest asset is our diversity," he went on, making eye contact with each student to inspire confidence.
"We will delve into the wonders of our world, discovering how to tap into the energy that surrounds and resides within us."
His words acted as a gentle encouragement, inspiring them to celebrate their uniqueness and recognize the power in their diversity.
The students exchanged hopeful glances, a new sense of camaraderie blossoming between them. However, they remain unaware that what seems warm can sometimes turn cold.
"Our first lesson," Takeda-sensei declared, "will focus on grasping the core of your abilities. The first task you must complete is to run 200 laps—make sure to finish it by the end of the day!"
The students nodded, their minds.... Heeeeeeeh!!!!!!!!!
"Now, get on the ground and run, go!" Takeda-sensei clapped his hands and instructed the students, who appeared bewildered.
As the students of Class C assembled in the courtyard, a palpable sense of confusion lingered in the air. Takeda-sensei's unexpected directive to run 200 laps caught them off guard, leaving many of them murmuring in disbelief.
"Is he serious?" one student whispered to a classmate, her brows furrowed in bewilderment.
"200 laps? That's practically an endurance test, not a lesson," another student grumbled, adjusting his shoes with a resigned sigh.
As Haruto continued his speed, he noticed his energy starting to glow. A smile spread across his face as he exclaimed,
"Is that so!"
Suddenly, a student dashes past him at high speed, cutting through the storm. Haruto halts his own run and gazes at the boy who continues to sprint ahead.
"What is that?" he asked, looking confused.
The boy who dashed ahead shouted with delight, "Yeah!.... Yahoo!....Hahaha!"
His voice echoed across the courtyard, capturing the attention of everyone present. Haruto couldn't help but admire the boy's energy and enthusiasm as he sprinted effortlessly, his movements a blur of speed and grace.
The other students watched in awe, inspired by the display of raw power and determination.
"Who is that?" the other students whispered among themselves. "That's Oshitani Kenjuro," replied one of the nearby students, their tone filled with admiration. "He's famous for his astonishing lightning speed."
Haruto nodded, captivated by the conversation. "I understand why they say that," he reflected, determined to challenge himself further in his own training.
+At Class B
The person stepping into the room is Ichimiya-sensei, the homeroom teacher for Class B. As the stunning teacher arrives, the boys in the class can't help but stare.
Her presence seemed to light up the room, and her kind smile put the students at ease.
"Good morning, Class B," she greeted warmly, her voice carrying a melody of encouragement and excitement.
"I hope you're ready for an exciting year ahead."
The students nodded, some still a bit starstruck, while others quickly composed themselves, eager to make a good impression.
"For our first lesson today, here it is!" They placed the box on the table and revealed to the students the magic of stones.
"Each of these items conceals untapped potential. Your task is to reveal what that potential entails and illustrate how to utilize it. However, before anything else, you must first restore your aura and connect with your guardian." She continued and sketched a magical scene on the whiteboard.
"Just like this, take a moment to meditate and relax, allowing your aura to be rejuvenated within your body, much like this storm circle. Now, give it a try''
The students close their eyes and meditate as the teacher instructs. In just a minute, they begin to feel their aura energy flowing with different colors of light.
One student exudes an infectious energy, astonishing both classmates and the teacher. The classroom was awash in a brilliant glow as the student's aura broadened, illuminating the walls with vivid colors. The hues swirled and shimmered, producing a captivating spectacle that enchanted everyone in attendance.
"Wow," Ichimiya-sensei breathed, her eyes widening with a mix of admiration and curiosity.
"Your aura is truly exceptional. Can you feel the energy?"
The student nodded, a look of awe on his face. "Yes, sensei. The energy is alive, responding to my every thought."
"What's your name, student?" Ichimiya-sensei inquired, noticing that the brilliant one needed to report to the Dean of Academics.
"I am Atobe Keigo from the Oedo Clan," he declared. Colors began to swirl around him, morphing into intricate patterns of foliage.
The leaves sparkled with a vibrant mix of greens, gold, and deep browns as they floated elegantly through the air, reacting to the gentle movements of his hands.
+At Class A
The top students in academics belong to Class A, but they don't surpass the top nine, the S・A group. However, they still perform better than students in other classes. With elevated scores, their exceptional abilities shine even brighter.
"Welcome, New Class A!" Their homeroom teacher is the Dean's assistant, which means he shares a similar role to the Dean as well.
He is known for his sharp intellect and unwavering dedication to nurturing the brightest minds at Kyudai Genso Academy.
"As members of Class A, you are expected to uphold the highest standards of excellence," he began, his gaze sweeping across the room to meet each student's eyes.
''Your skills have already distinguished you, but remember that you may stumble if you become careless.''
The students listened intently, aware of the honor and responsibility that came with being part of Class A.
He paused to let his words settle, as he heard the voices of a group of students running by. He then walked over to the window to take a look outside.
"Class C will always be Class C, right, Takeda-sensei?" he said with a smile.
"Excuse me, Sensei?" one of the students inquired.
"Yes, what is it?" the teacher replied, turning his attention back to the class.
The student hesitated for a moment before speaking,
"I was wondering, what exactly sets Class A apart from the S・A group? Is it purely based on our scores, or is there something more?"
The teacher nodded, acknowledging the question's merit.
"Ah, an insightful query. While academic excellence is certainly a cornerstone of Class A, the distinction of becoming part of The S・A, or Special A, involves more than just your grades."
He continued;
"The S・A is reserved for those who not only excel in their studies but also demonstrate exceptional leadership, creativity, and the ability to handle complex challenges with grace and innovation. It's about embodying the spirit of Academy and using your talents to make a meaningful impact."
The students listened intently, their aspirations growing with each word.
"Remember," the teacher added, "being part of Class A is an honor in itself, but the get to The S・A requires dedication, perseverance, and a willingness to push beyond your limits."
With renewed determination, the students nodded, ready to embrace the challenges ahead and strive for greatness in their own unique ways.
"Hmm... is that really the case?" Takeru mused aloud to himself. However, one of the students sitting nearby overheard him and chimed in;
"But I don't think that!" He adjusted his glasses as he spoke.
"Huh?" Takeru looked at him, puzzled, so he decided to introduce himself.
"Tezuka Shinji from the Oedo Clan," he nodded.
''But, why?'' Takeru nodded back and asked
"Hmm... Have you noticed? All generations of The S・A originate from Class A," he said, engrossed in his book.
''You mean...''
"Indeed, Class A offers a greater opportunity to reach The S・A compared to the other classes."
''.....''
"It means Class A has already been selected!"
