"You ugly freak! You better put me down right now, or I'll kill you!"
Kankuro's face darkened."I'm really pissed off now. I might kill someone."
Konohamaru panicked further, flailing his arms and legs as he screamed,"Uzumaki Naruto! Save me!"
Seeing this, Naruto instinctively turned to leave. The Kazekage's son wanted to kill the Hokage's grandson, and now the Hokage's grandson was threatening to kill the Kazekage's son?
This was way above his pay grade as a Genin. Better to stay out of it and let them fight to their hearts' content.
Sakura looked worried."Naruto, what do we do now?"
"What else? We leave," Naruto muttered under his breath."This war between royals and their grandkids has nothing to do with you or me."
Sakura didn't understand what he meant, but before she could ask, Naruto grabbed her wrist. Her face flushed as she let him lead her away.
Behind them, Konohamaru kept shouting,"Uzumaki Naruto! Come back and save me! This ugly monster's hurting me!"
"What? Konohamaru's feeling too comfortable, huh?" Naruto waved without turning back."Alright, goodbye then."
Temari narrowed her eyes at Naruto's retreating back.What a shame. So handsome… but such a coward.
Kankuro saw Naruto walking away and grinned."What? And here I thought Konoha's Genin were supposed to be strong. Turns out you're just a coward."
Tch. You were already walking away. Why go out of your way to ask for death?
Naruto frowned and abruptly turned around."Ugly bastard. Say that again if you dare."

Both Temari and Kankuro were surprised by Naruto's sudden shift in demeanor.

"Naruto, don't be impulsive!" Sakura called out, sensing something was off.
She grabbed his hand, but in the very next moment, her hand clutched at empty air.
Naruto had already launched forward at an incredible speed.
Kankuro hadn't expected him to attack — at least not so fast. Shouldn't there be some boasting or trash talk first?
They were barely ten meters apart. Naruto opened with his top speed, instantly using the Nine-Tails' chakra and the Body Flicker Technique.
In a flash, he was right in front of Kankuro.
Kankuro didn't even have time to defend himself before Naruto's fist slammed hard into his left cheek. Both Kankuro and the Konohamaru he was holding were sent flying.
A scream echoed in the air.
In the same moment, Naruto used the Body Flicker again, appearing behind them. As Kankuro's body fell, Naruto raised his foot and stomped down hard.

Kankuro hit the ground with a heavy crash.
Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth as he weakly let go of the unconscious Konohamaru, who had fainted from fear.
Naruto didn't even glance at Konohamaru. He gave him a light kick to push him away, then crouched down, drove his knee into Kankuro's chest, and began slamming his fists into Kankuro's face over and over again.
Sure, he preferred the reward from Option 3 — but if he happened to kill Kankuro in the process, oh well.
After all, this was the Hidden Leaf. He was just protecting the Hokage's grandson.

Fists pounded into Kankuro's face like a hurricane. Blood spilled from his nose, mouth, and eyes as he let out a pained scream.
Temari was frozen in place, stunned.How had her brother been taken down so quickly?

Yes, Kankuro had picked the fight — but he was still her brother. Temari couldn't just let him get beaten senseless.
She pulled the giant fan from her back, unfolded it in one sweeping motion, and launched a powerful gust of wind at Naruto.
Naruto heard the rush of wind and jumped high into a nearby tree, effortlessly dodging the attack.
"Great. Now I've got two to deal with."
Naruto didn't believe in holding back just because the opponent was a woman. If someone attacked him, they were fair game.
He formed a Rasengan in one hand and hurled it directly at Temari's face.
Temari's lips trembled. Her eyes went wide with fear as the Rasengan rushed at her like a comet.
In that moment, she bitterly regretted not stopping her brother's stupid behavior earlier. Why had she let Kankuro provoke this guy?
She had been too arrogant — assuming she and Kankuro were strong enough to not fear any Genin except her younger brother Gaara.
At the last second, Temari twisted her fan to the side and managed to redirect herself, barely dodging the Rasengan.
It hit the ground with a violent crash, leaving a crater nearly 40 centimeters wide.
It was clear: Naruto wasn't holding back. He wasn't going easy on her just because she was a girl. In fact, you could say he respected her more because of it.
He just wanted to end the fight with Temari quickly — so he could get back to pummeling Kankuro.
But just as Naruto was about to make another move, sand erupted from the ground beneath him, wrapping tightly around his ankles.
"Great," Naruto muttered."Now I've got three to deal with."
