Konoha: Naruto's abnormal life choices

Chapter 155: Chapter 155

"Yumu Ren, don't trade with him!" Samui's voice trembled with desperation. "I'm already broken… I'm not worth it. Don't come any closer!"

Tears streamed down her face as she watched the sister she had once disregarded step forward without hesitation, offering herself in Samui's place. The moonlight cast a pale glow over Yumu Ren's delicate features, her expression serene—devoid of fear, only relief that Samui would live.

As the exchange took place, Yumu Ren reached out, gently wiping Samui's tears away. Her voice was soft, reassuring. "It's okay. I'll be back soon."

Then, just like that, Yumu Ren was taken by the hated Nine-Tails Jinchūriki, leaving Samui alone.

This was her chance—her best opportunity to escape. She could run, disappear into the night, and never look back.

But she didn't.

Instead, Samui pulled her torn dress over her bruised body, barely covering her curves, and sat at the edge of the cliff, forcing herself to focus. Chakra swirled around her as she gathered her strength, her skin glowing like polished jade under the moonlight.

She was going to do something reckless.

She had to act fast—before it was too late. Before Yumu Ren suffered the same fate she had endured.

Even if she was weak. Even if the odds were impossible.

This time, she would fight for Yumu Ren.

If Yumu Ren was willing to sacrifice herself for Samui, then Samui would gladly throw away this wretched, filthy life of hers.

"Yumu Ren… wait for me!"

Two or three kilometers away, in a secluded grove…

Naruto Uzumaki walked leisurely, his kunai already sheathed, a faint smirk on his lips. Behind him, Yumu Ren followed at a slower pace, the two conversing as if they were old friends reunited after years apart.

If Samui—still raw from the agony of their supposed life-and-death separation—saw this scene, she might have spat blood in fury.

"Master Naruto," Yumu Ren murmured, "we left footprints on purpose. Samui will suspect something. She's a jōnin—she has some awareness of tracking."

Naruto shrugged. "Doubt? Why would she? We're enemies. We've never even met before today. What's there to question?" He tilted his head, amused. "You think she'll suspect I put you under a spell?"

Yumu Ren's lips pursed. "Isn't it just black magic? That curse of yours is no different."

Naruto chuckled. "They're all the same in the end—tools to control people. Though I'd argue black magic is kinder. Disobey my curse, and you die. When it was first planted, I lived in fear every single day."

Yumu Ren's gaze lifted to the moon, her eyes narrowing. A flicker of resentment crossed her face. She, too, had been deceived—just like Samui today. Naruto had played the part of some demon from the underworld, claiming he'd let a hundred ghosts watch her suffer. The memory alone was enough to chill her blood.

"Something wrong?" Naruto asked, misreading her expression. "Feeling guilty about your friend?"

"Nothing." Yumu Ren quickly shook her head, still wary of him. "I was just thinking… are we really just going to keep walking? Wait for Samui to come to us?"

Naruto's eyes gleamed with mischief. "A few days ago, you were resisting every step of the way. Now you're eager?"

Yumu Ren stiffened, realizing how her words sounded. "N-No! That's not what I—"

Hiss!

Before she could finish, Naruto's hands tore through her soft armor, ripping it apart in one swift motion.

"Stop struggling. You're tired enough as it is."

"Wait—!"

"Take off the coat. The pants too."

"Samui will be here soon. We have to stick to the plan."

Yumu Ren fought weakly, but Naruto ignored her protests, stripping away her heavy combat uniform with practiced ease. His fingers worked methodically, unbuttoning the white lining beneath, exposing smooth collarbones and pale skin inch by inch.

Though not as voluptuous as Tsunade or Samui, Yumu Ren's figure was far from lacking. She had simply always been modest, hiding herself beneath layers. Now, the black cotton undergarments barely contained what threatened to spill free.

"Naruto, please… stop." Her face burned red, her voice trembling.

But Naruto wasn't one to be swayed. In the next instant, he forced her to the ground, his tone mockingly stern.

"I would stop… but you called me by name. No honorific. That's disrespectful."

"I'll say it! I'll say it!" Yumu Ren's eyes widened in panic. "Naruto-sama, please—Samui will be here any moment!"

"Then I'll finish before she arrives."

His gaze raked over her body—now clad only in that strained black undergarment and the half-open white lining. Full hips, a slender waist, legs toned and smooth. Paired with that pleading expression, it was impossible not to react.

Naruto inhaled sharply, then smirked.

"Naruto-sama, please don't—w-wah!"

"A girl once told me something," he murmured, leaning close. "When a woman says no… she really means yes."

His lips crashed against hers, swallowing her protests.

"Dame! Dame, Naruto-sama! Dame yo!"

"Don't stop. Say it again. I love hearing it."

"Yamete—!"

Ah, there it was—proof that the world held universal truths.

When a woman said no, she meant yes.

When they kissed, Yumu Ren kept whimpering "Dame" and "Yamete", but soon, their positions flipped. Her breathing grew ragged, her cheeks flushed, her eyes glazed. She straddled him, hands gripping his shoulders as she kissed him feverishly—lips trailing from his forehead down to his chest, movements clumsy but fervent.

The trees swayed in the night wind, rustling as if embarrassed by the scene.

Back at the cliff's edge…

Samui, her golden hair tousled, clenched the short sword in her hand. She had spent too long gathering chakra, steeling herself for what came next.

Standing, she stared in the direction Naruto and Yumu Ren had gone, her grip tightening.

This was suicide. She knew that.

She was throwing away Yumu Ren's sacrifice.

But she couldn't leave her. Not after what Yumu Ren had done.

The moon hung high now, the battlefield far behind. No shouts, no explosions—just silence.

"May Kumogakure emerge victorious…"

She fastened her forehead protector, the Hidden Cloud insignia gleaming, then ran.

This time, she was ready to die.

Footprints. Deliberate.

Samui frowned, then understood.

"Yumu Ren left these. She's smart—she must have planned an escape route."

Following the trail, she soon heard it—sharp, breathless gasps, a voice she recognized all too well.

Her blood boiled.

That monster… he's hurting Yumu Ren the same way he hurt me!

Guilt and rage warred in her chest. Her vision blurred with tears.

"Yumu Ren… I'm sorry. This is all my fault."

She wanted to charge in, cut Naruto down where he stood—but memories of her own torment held her back.

Instead, she climbed a tree, watching, waiting for her moment.

Two Jinchūriki. Enhanced senses.

They knew she was there.

But Yumu Ren was too lost in the act, and Naruto didn't care.

Silence. Noise. Two worlds clashing.

Then—

A scream. A climax.

Yumu Ren collapsed, staring at the stars as if nothing mattered anymore.

Naruto grinned, stretching.

Time to go.

But then—

"YOU BASTARD—DIE!"

Samui lunged from behind, blade aimed straight for his heart.

Naruto barely dodged, twisting to kick her back.

"Since when was she this brave?!" he mouthed to Yumu Ren.

Yumu Ren could only shrug.

"YUMU REN, RUN! THIS TIME, I'LL PROTECT YOU!"

Samui charged again, knife flashing—her form mirroring Naruto's own lethal precision.

But she was too slow.

Naruto sidestepped effortlessly.

"Tch. Annoying woman. Why'd you have to come back?"

He sighed dramatically.

"Fine. Two's too much for me. I'm out."

Golden chakra flared—and he vanished.

Samui didn't hesitate. She rushed to Yumu Ren, pulling her into a tight embrace.

"I'm sorry… I'm so sorry…"

Yumu Ren smiled weakly. "Don't be. I wanted to save you. You're… my best friend."

Samui's throat tightened.

"Yeah… best friends."

Yumu Ren exhaled, relieved.

The act had worked.

It was flimsy. Full of holes. But Naruto had been right—no one would question it.

To Samui, this was real.

And when she someday learned the truth?

Well… that would be a problem for another day.

Mountains rolled like waves.

Naruto sped through the terrain, a streak of gold.

He'd gone too far. The real battle awaited.

Time to end this war.

Other villages had stayed out—boring.

Finally, he found the frontline.

Konoha vs. Kumo.

The decisive clash.

At the center—a crater that hadn't existed before.

Man-made.

Tsunade. Kakashi. Might Guy.

Raikage. Killer B.

Evenly matched.

But the real victor?

Him.

Naruto smirked.

"Now… it's my turn."
