Konoha: Naruto's abnormal life choices

Chapter 153: Chapter 153

"Boom!!"

Lightning-style jutsu exploded in every direction around Darui, shaking the forest.

Even Samui was almost struck several times.

She tried to calm him down, but Darui wasn't listening anymore.

He was no longer the composed, lazy shinobi she knew. Now, he was furious—unhinged, even. He was desperate to capture the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki and end this.

Samui didn't understand. She was the one who had been humiliated. So why was Darui more enraged than her?

What she didn't know was that, for a man, watching the woman he loves be repeatedly touched and mocked by an enemy can be the ultimate humiliation. Naruto's actions had crossed that line.

Even worse, Naruto's insults had been aimed directly at Darui:

"Your goddess is amazing!"

"Wow, these thighs are so soft. Hey, Lao Hei, have you ever touched them?"

"Hahaha, I'm enjoying what you never even got close to."

"She clearly dislikes you, by the way."

"Oh wait—you're such a simp, you wouldn't dare touch her."

Every line chipped away at Darui's restraint. His rage kept building until it completely overwhelmed his composure.

Now, all he could think about was crushing Naruto Uzumaki into pieces.

"Get out here!" he roared.

"Ahhh!!"

Suddenly, Samui screamed. Darui turned, and to his horror, the yellow-haired bastard was there again.

Naruto had stolen Samui's blade, wrapped his arms around her, and his hands—those despicable hands—were already beneath her clothes.

And then he whispered, just loud enough for Darui to hear:

"Did you hear that? Lao Hei told me to come out and touch you again."

Darui snapped. His chakra flared wildly, and he launched another lightning attack. But Naruto vanished into a cloud of ash again—another clone.

Damn it!

Darui clenched his fists.

This was unbearable. Every time they got close, Naruto slipped away. When they hesitated, he struck again—mocking, humiliating, disappearing.

Behind him, Samui finally broke.

She collapsed to the ground, sobbing.

She had come here to avenge her brother. But now, she was emotionally shattered, degraded in front of her comrade, unable to bear the mental strain anymore.

She didn't want revenge anymore. She just wanted this to stop.

Darui saw her crying and froze. He had always seen her as a goddess—someone to be revered. But now…

Now there was a strange shift in his heart. A subtle disgust that even he didn't fully understand.

Even though it wasn't Samui's fault, he couldn't shake the image of what had happened. The shame. The helplessness.

He was afraid. Afraid that even if he and Samui ended up together someday, these memories would haunt him forever.

As a man…

He couldn't bear it.

"Darui," Samui said between sobs, "we should retreat. If this keeps up, I'm going to lose it."

Darui turned away.

He tried to sound calm. "No. If I don't kill that bastard today, I'm not worthy of being human."

Samui's heart sank.

She saw it in his eyes—revulsion. He looked at her like she was… tainted.

Even though she despised this man who had just humiliated her, now she hated Darui more—if only for a second.

"I shouldn't hate him," she whispered to herself. "He's just a colleague. He didn't owe me anything. The one I should hate is Uzumaki Naruto."

Taking a deep breath, she composed herself.

Her sword was gone, but she still had kunai. She stood up and armed herself again.

If she was going to die today, she'd at least strike back once.

As she scanned her surroundings, Darui was still frantically searching, unable to locate Naruto.

Samui was about to call him—until she felt a chill behind her.

She spun and slashed backward with her kunai.

Poof!

A clone.

Her heart skipped.

Then suddenly—she crashed backward into Naruto's real body.

He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her tightly into him. Her skin was warm, barely covered by the thin, low-cut gray top and short skirt she wore. Her figure was undeniably seductive.

Naruto took a moment to savor the contact. "Hey, Lao Hei," he called out, "your goddess ran straight into my arms again."

He ran a hand down her thigh, smirking.

His breath tickled her ear as he whispered.

Samui trembled.

A strange, unfamiliar sensation crawled through her. Her knees buckled slightly. But the memory of her brother… of her pride… kept her standing.

"You bastard!" she cried, stabbing backward.

Too slow. Naruto dodged easily and gave her a firm squeeze.

"Still resisting? Cute."

Then, just as Darui appeared, Naruto raised Samui's chin, pinched her cheek—and kissed her.

The moon hung cold in the sky. The wind howled. Darui stood frozen, trembling.

The woman he dreamed about day and night was being kissed in front of him. Mocked. Played with. By their enemy.

Darui screamed.

"Uzumaki Naruto! You maggot! Come at me!"

Words failed to express his rage.

He gathered every last drop of chakra and unleashed it.

"Storm Release: Laser Circus!"

More than fifty lightning-water beams rained down toward Naruto like divine punishment.

Naruto smiled brightly at Samui and let her go. "Lao Hei's going to kill us both, huh? Guess he's not that into you."

"Let's run!"

But before he could escape, Samui clung to him.

"This ends here, Naruto Uzumaki. Even if we die together, I'll drag you to hell."

Her voice was unsteady, but her grip was firm.

She was serious.

She'd had enough.

But Naruto only chuckled.

"Die with me? Too bad—I'm just a clone."

Her eyes widened in shock.

In that second of hesitation, Naruto jumped up, kicked her away, and formed two Rasenshuriken.

Darui's jutsu was unavoidable now. It was either fight or die.

Naruto activated his Nine-Tails golden chakra cloak, gritting his teeth as the Rasenshuriken met Darui's Storm Release head-on.

BOOM!

The massive collision of chakra exploded in all directions like a hurricane.

Ten seconds later, it was over.

Naruto stood tall—injured, but alive.

Darui lay flat on the ground, his chakra completely exhausted. Samui, battered by Naruto's earlier kick, was coughing blood and barely conscious.

Naruto looked at the two of them and smirked.

"That's it? You guys are so weak. I'm not even done having fun."

He pulled out a long iron chain from his storage seal and approached Darui.

Darui, gasping, forced himself to sit up.

"You'll die, Naruto Uzumaki. One day, the Hidden Cloud will avenge us."

Naruto chuckled.

"Maybe. But that day's far off. Right now, you should worry about yourself."

With a crack, the chain whipped through the air and slammed Darui down again.

Darui spat blood and glared.

"Go ahead. Kill me. I've been ready to die since I became a ninja."

Naruto leaned closer.

"Kill you? No no no. I want to reward you."

He laughed.

"You've never touched your goddess, right? I'll let you hear a little something instead. Consider it a gift."

Darui was confused—until he saw Naruto lift Samui and carry her into the woods.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! YOU BASTARD!"

Naruto looked over his shoulder.

"You already know, don't you? That's what makes this fun."

Darui howled in helpless fury as Naruto disappeared with Samui.

A short while later, sounds came from the trees.

"What are you doing?! Let go of me!"

"Why do you Cloud people all ask the same thing? Haven't I answered already?"

Darui trembled with rage and shame.

He couldn't move. Couldn't help her. Couldn't stop anything.

"Why… Why am I so weak…?"

Samui's muffled sobs echoed through the forest.

Darui could only clench his teeth and curse his own powerlessness.

Just when it seemed all hope was lost—

A new voice rang out:

"Darui! Who tied you up?!"

It was Yugito Nii.

Cloud reinforcements had arrived—thousands of them.

And in the forest, they heard a broken voice cry out:

"Stop, Uzumaki Naruto… I hate you!"

The entire Hidden Cloud battalion froze.

Yugito's face twitched.

"Uzumaki Naruto… you're insane."
