Konoha, Just Like Kizaru

Kushina's due date was approaching.

Simu had chosen the Konoha Research Institute as the place for her delivery, in his eyes, it was the safest location.

It had been nearly a year since he became Hokage.

Under the pressure of his overwhelming strength, the opposition, led by Sarutobi Hiruzen, had been pushed to the edge.

Not long ago, Simu cleaned out the guard forces.

The Shimura clan now had very few members left, and the Sarutobi clan had also suffered.

Dozens of their ninjas were removed from their posts.

To further weaken their influence, Simu filled those positions with civilian ninjas.

Two Tails responded the most enthusiastically.

Three Tails, though naturally quiet, was eager to prove itself as the newest member.

It understood that now was not the time to hide.

Five Tails scratched his nose and said with a proud smirk,

"Don't worry, kid. Even if Nine Tails shows up, I'll knock it back down for you."

And so, the four tailed beasts took their places around Konoha, each guarding a separate sector.

Thanks to Simu's efforts, these tailed beasts were now welcomed by many villagers.

Among them, the Two Tails had become the most popular.

After all, the Two Tails had a pleasant voice, was gentle with animals, and enjoyed playing with people.

Its plush toys were also the best-selling among the villagers.

The second most popular was the Five Tails, whose horse-like appearance made it a favorite among young boys.

In contrast, the Three Tails and Four Tails weren't as well like.

The Three Tails was quiet and withdrawn, while the Four Tails was proud and didn't interact much with others.

Still, the presence of the tailed beasts clearly boosted morale in the village.

However, to spies from other ninja villages, the situation didn't look so cheerful.

With the return of the Sannin, full Anbu mobilization, increased surveillance, and four tailed beasts stationed around Konoha, were they preparing to launch the Fourth Great Ninja War?

These spies were shaken and quickly tried to send the intel back to their villages

Only to discover that all communication channels had been cut off.

Even the villagers could feel the sudden tension in the air.

But once they learned all of this was to ensure the safety of the Hokage's wife during childbirth, they fully supported it.

They quietly stayed home, doing their part to avoid causing any trouble.

Only two people were assigned to deliver the baby: Tsunade, one of the legendary Sannin and Rin Nohara, Simu's trusted disciple.

Inside the institute, Simu gently held Kushina's hand.

"Don't worry, I'll stay by your side the whole time."

"Mm."

Kushina smiled softly at him.

Tsunade, standing nearby, frowned in annoyance.

"No family members are allowed in the delivery room. Just go."

Without hesitation, she pushed Simu out.

Nohara Rin chuckled.

"Don't worry, Sensei. With Lady Tsunade here, everything will be fine."

"Yeah."\

Simu nodded, but his Observation Haki was already fully active, covering all of Konoha and the surrounding area.

Nothing suspicious could escape his senses.

"Hiss…"

 Kushina gritted her teeth, trying to endure the pain.

The delivery had officially begun.

As it progressed, Tsunade could clearly see the seal on Kushina's stomach become more visible.

A violent wave of Nine Tails' chakra burst out, quickly spreading through the entire institute 

The atmosphere instantly filled with a terrifying pressure.

Luckily, Simu had already ordered the sealing team to set up a barrier around the research institute.

The Nine Tails' chakra wouldn't affect anyone outside.

But as Kushina's pain worsened, she began to lose control of the seal.

The Nine Tails seized the chance and struck back, trying to break free.

Its chakra became more intense, pressing down on everyone in the room.

Even Nohara Rin struggled to stay on her feet.

Thankfully, Tsunade was strong, any normal doctor would've already passed out under the pressure.

Watching Kushina suffer, Simu's eyes turned cold.

 He said in a low, deadly voice,

"If anything happens to Kushina… I'll kill you, Nine Tails."

Though Simu was holding back his killing intent, the entire institute seemed to grow colder.

In that moment, the Nine Tails' attack stopped completely.

Tsunade paused, surprised.

"This kid…"

She didn't expect the Nine Tails, who feared no one, to freeze from just one threat.

The last time that happened… was with her grandfather.

But Simu didn't dwell on it. His focus quickly shifted again.

Through his Observation Haki, Simu sensed tens of thousands of moving figures underground around Konoha.

"So many White Zetsu?"

He paused, surprised.

White Zetsu were known for their incredible stealth ordinary detection jutsu were useless against them.

Even so, he stayed calm.

"Inoichi."

Before the childbirth began, Simu had already linked mentally with each unit leader using the Yamanaka clan's secret technique.

"I'm here," Inoichi responded.

"Alert the Second Brigade. The enemy is approaching, prepare for battle."

Inoichi was surprised that the scouts hadn't picked anything up, but still responded seriously,

"Understood!"

In a flash, Simu appeared at the top of the lab.

Dark markings of Sage Mode spread across his face.

He raised his arm, gathering golden light that formed into a two-meter-long bow.

Pulling the string tight, a golden arrow took shape, glowing with immense power.

"Sage Art: Sunburn Arrow!"

A brilliant flash shot across the sky above Konoha.

Moments later, Yamanaka Inoichi's voice echoed in the minds of all the shinobi.

"Everyone, brace for impact!"

The moment Simu's arrow struck the ground, a blinding golden light erupted, shattering the earth with overwhelming force.

The impact cracked the ground and sent shockwaves tearing through the forest around Konoha.

Beneath the surface, countless White Zetsu were instantly incinerated by the burning light.

A massive explosion lit up the forest, and the shockwave slammed into Konoha's protective barrier.

"Damn… not bad, kid…"

Jiraiya watched the golden flash in awe.

But even that powerful strike couldn't destroy them all.

Thousands of White Zetsu survived and rushed toward the village.

Konoha's shinobi quickly responded, ninjutsu of all kinds lit up the battlefield as they fought back fiercely.

Meanwhile, Black Zetsu had already taken over the body of a Konoha ninja and slipped into the enchantment team's base.

He had taken the identity of the unit's squad leader.

"Don't worry, Squad Leader Sato. With these defenses, those guys don't stand a chance," said a confident team member.

But the usually calm and kind squad leader suddenly smiled strangely.

"Oh? Is that so?"

Right after, the barrier team saw black arms suddenly grow from their squad leader's body.

Sharp claws pierced straight through their chests.

Black Zetsu might not be strong in direct combat, but as a creation of Yin-Yang Release, taking down ordinary ninjas was no problem for him.

Once the barrier team was eliminated, Konoha's protective seal was broken.

Sensing Simu's killing intent from afar, Black Zetsu only grinned.

But Simu didn't move, Anbu forces had already surrounded the area.

His top priority was staying in the institute to protect Kushina.

He couldn't afford to be distracted.

Meanwhile, the White Zetsu army launched a heavy assault toward the area guarded by Three Tails.

 Maybe it was because Three Tails was slower and less effective on land.

Other directions were attacked too, but not as heavily.

 It was likely a strategy to keep the other Tailed Beasts tied down.

Among the White Zetsu forces, there were also some mutated forms Titan Zetsu that stood over ten meters tall, Beast Zetsu that looked like wild animals, and even Flying Zetsu that soared through the sky.

Thankfully, there weren't many of them.

Most were quickly handled by Wind Style users.

Any that slipped past were personally taken out by Simu.
