Konoha: Gu Master

Chapter 382: Chapter 309: Kaguya's Defeat

The shockwave dissipated.

Shinho remained suspended in mid-air, completely unscathed. The Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack hadn't even ruffled his clothing.

Kaguya realized with a jolt that she had been on the defensive throughout their exchange, unable to gain any advantage.

A millennium ago, she had completely dominated her battle against Hagoromo and Hamura.

Gazing at the colossal figure towering over her, Kaguya wasted no time and clapped her hands together.

She had already tested his strength. The failure of the Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack made it clear that her regular form was insufficient.

A furious gale erupted out of nowhere as the result of an immense surge of chakra.

Kaguya's body rapidly expanded, swirling vortexes of chakra enveloping her. White rabbit fur sprouted at a visible rate, her human form hunched over, limbs touching the ground.

Her delicate features were obscured by fluffy fur.

An enormous white rabbit materialized.

Unlike a normal rabbit, however, it possessed a pair of horns and a Rinne Sharingan on its forehead.

Kaguya lifted her head.

Now, Shinho's imposing, demonic form seemed less threatening. Compared to her massive size, he was like an ant.

But she dared not underestimate this ant.

With a powerful swing of her arm, a chakra storm coalesced into a thick, muscular arm in mid-air.

Under her control, the fist slammed downwards.

Even clenched, the fist dwarfed Shinho's entire body. The sheer force generated a terrifying gust of wind.

Shinho repeated his previous tactic.

A phantom bear manifested with his punch, hurtling forward.

With a resounding boom, the phantom bear embedded itself in the gigantic fist like a cannonball.

But in the next instant, a terrifying suction force emanated from the point of contact.

The chakra fist drained the phantom bear's energy, shrinking it drastically in the blink of an eye.

Fortunately, it had bought Shinho the brief moment he needed. He leaped upwards, narrowly avoiding the chakra arm.

However, having absorbed the phantom bear, the chakra arm, still under Kaguya's control, pursued him relentlessly.

Shinho frowned slightly.

Kaguya's Tailed Beast Transformation had indeed amplified her power. But as a rank six Gu Immortal, he had his own version of a Tailed Beast Transformation.

Rank seven killer move: Ancient Sword Dragon Transformation!

Shinho's body trembled, the Six Arms Heavenly Zombie King form receding as he reverted to his normal appearance.

"What's happening?" Hagoromo asked, surprised. "Did his transformation time run out?"

"That shouldn't be the case," Naruto said, bewildered.

"Should we intervene?" Sasuke asked, his hand resting on the handle of his Lightning-Fire Sword.

He had been observing the battle with growing anticipation.

Although both Shinho and Kaguya were stronger than him, they weren't overwhelmingly so. He felt no despair, only a burning desire to test his own strength.

"Perhaps... wait!" Hagoromo's expression shifted, his eyes widening abruptly.

A brilliant silver light enveloped Shinho.

A torrent of immortal essence surged outwards, followed by a dragon's roar that reverberated through the heavens.

Shinho underwent a dramatic transformation, his body replaced by that of a magnificent dragon.

Its silvery scales shimmered, its immense and elongated form possessing an artistic elegance.

Its horns were like spears, its claws menacing, and its overlapping scales radiated a mesmerizing glow.

The breathtakingly beautiful silver dragon soared through the sky. Clouds churned and swirled in its wake, emanating an overwhelming aura of power.

"Is that... a dragon?" Hagoromo stared at the dragon, momentarily speechless.

The dragon's form itself was impressive, but the sheer power it exuded filled him with awe and trepidation. He could sense that Shinho's strength had grown exponentially.

"Whoa!" Naruto exclaimed in amazement. "That's so cool!"

Sasuke nodded in agreement.

Even he had to admit, it was an impressive display.

But how did Shinho learn such a technique? How did he find the time to train and become so powerful while also serving as Hokage?

Sasuke had always considered himself diligent, but he realized he still fell short of Shinho.

No wonder he'd never won against him, not even once.

"What form is this?" Kaguya's heart grew heavy.

For the first time, she felt a sense of genuine danger.

The Six-Arms Heavenly Zombie King form had pressured her, but not to this extent.

After her Tailed Beast Transformation, she had even felt confident in victory. But with the appearance of the dragon, Kaguya's exceptional sensory abilities screamed danger.

"I... I don't know," Black Zetsu's voice echoed in her mind. "He didn't use this during his fight with Hagoromo."

"His current strength rivals my own," Kaguya said, her voice grim, feeling the omnipresent threat.

"Then... what do we do?" Black Zetsu panicked.

While he possessed more battle experience than Kaguya and had been directing her actions, their current predicament rendered his tactical guidance almost useless.

They were facing the very real possibility of defeat, a defeat that could very well be more devastating than the one a millennium ago.

Kaguya, having consumed the chakra fruit, was immortal.

She couldn't be killed, only sealed. But how could they break free from a seal cast by Shinho?

"..." Kaguya remained silent.

Escape was impossible as Shinho could seal space.

"Mother, watch out!" Black Zetsu's warning broke the silence.

Kaguya instinctively looked up. The colossal silver dragon roared, slashing its claws through the air.

A sharp, chilling aura permeated the atmosphere.

Two streaks of silver light materialized, descending like twin swords from the heavens. Trailing winds accentuated the terrifying gleam of their edges.

Kaguya felt a chilling premonition of being cleaved in two. An intense sense of danger made her white fur stand on end like a frightened cat.

With a roar, Kaguya opened her mouth. Black chakra condensed before her, rapidly compressing into an incredibly dense sphere.

Tailed Beast Bomb!

Kaguya was the God Tree, and the God Tree was the Ten-Tails. In her transformed state, she naturally possessed the ability to utilize the Tailed Beast Bomb.

The two silver streaks converged, slicing towards the black sphere.

A sharp crack resonated, like shattering glass. The Tailed Beast Bomb split into four fragments.

Kaguya's heart sank. Shinho was even stronger than she anticipated.

What kind of jutsu was this dragon transformation?

Without hesitation, Kaguya detonated the fragmented Tailed Beast Bomb.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Explosions rocked the landscape.

The two silver streaks, meant to continue their trajectory towards Kaguya, were engulfed in the chaotic chakra.

A gigantic firework erupted in mid-air. Waves of chakra radiated outwards, slamming into the ground with the force of mountains, creating a bottomless chasm in the earth.

"This is terrifying!" Hagoromo exclaimed, raising his hands to conjure a chakra barrier.

Even the residual energy exerted immense pressure on him. Just as the barrier began to buckle, Naruto and Sasuke rushed to his aid, reinforcing it against the relentless chakra waves.

The ground around them crumbled, leaving only the spot they stood on intact. The surrounding landscape was utterly devastated.

Hagoromo was speechless.

The intensity of this battle far surpassed the one from a thousand years ago. And it seemed that it hadn't even reached its climax. He didn't believe the dragon's offensive capabilities were limited to this.

Neither did Kaguya.

She focused intently on the silver dragon in the sky, her Byakugan piercing through the chaotic environment.

A whooshing sound cut through the air. The silver dragon swooped down towards her. As it neared, its massive claws reached out, aiming to seize her.

Rabbit Hair Needle!

Kaguya reacted swiftly.

White fur erupted from her body, extending into countless needle-like projectiles that shot towards the silver dragon.

Iron Wall Gu!

As a precaution, Shinho had reinforced the dragon with an additional layer of defense.

A continuous clanging echoed as the Rabbit Hair Needles collided harmlessly against the dragon scales.

Kaguya's expression faltered.

The silver dragon's claws had already clamped down on her head, exerting immense pressure. The ground beneath the white rabbit caved in.

Shinho opened his jaws and bit into her flesh.

"Aagh!" Kaguya shrieked in pain.

White fur rapidly retracted, ensnaring the silver dragon in a tight bind.

An immense constricting force tightened around him.

Shinho remained unmoved. He felt no pressure.

The dragon's natural defenses, combined with the Iron Wall Gu, completely negated Kaguya's attempt at strangling him.

Strength Gu!

Shinho activated the Strength Gu. His massive body shuddered, overflowing with even greater power. With a powerful swing of his tail, an immense surge of force and chakra erupted outwards.

The white fur snapped, scattering like snowflakes in the wind.

Shinho was free.

"What?!" Kaguya was stunned.

He's still growing stronger? It defied all logic!

In her moment of shock, Shinho pressed his attack.

His claws slashed at her fur, sharp as the finest blades. After a brief resistance, blood gushed forth, staining the white fur crimson.

Pain wracked Kaguya's body.

But the immortality granted by the chakra fruit rapidly healed her wounds.

The relentless cycle of injury and recovery was agonizing.

The Rinne Sharingan on Kaguya's forehead glowed crimson.

An invisible surge of ocular power slammed into Shinho.

She lashed out with a powerful punch, sending shockwaves rippling through the air, transforming into a raging gale.

Facing the combined assault, Shinho felt the pressure.

He twisted his body, releasing his grip and soaring into the air to avoid her fist.

Before Kaguya could breathe a sigh of relief, her face contorted in horror.

The silver dragon opened its mouth and unleashed a torrent of dragon breath.

A brilliant silver light, as if stealing the radiance from the heavens, drew everyone's gaze. The soft glow, though not blinding, exuded unimaginable power.

A dragon's most fearsome attack was undoubtedly its breath. And this was the breath of a rank seven dragon.

Alarm bells blared in Kaguya's mind, a sense of impending doom washing over her. While immortal, she was not immune to pain or injury.

Kaguya focused her gaze, mobilizing all her chakra.

In an instant, a world-destroying beam of light formed before her, warping the surrounding air and distorting light in bizarre patterns.

It was the Tailed Beast Heavy Cannon, usable only in her transformed state.

Boom!

The dragon breath and the beam collided in a blinding flash.

An immense surge of chakra expanded outwards, further ravaging the already devastated landscape, leaving bottomless craters in its wake.

After a brief stalemate, the dragon breath overwhelmed the beam, its momentum unyielding as it slammed into Kaguya.

Rabbit Hair Needle!

Kaguya's white fur erupted once more, transforming into a torrent of white light that entangled the dragon breath.

Upon contact, the fur began to melt.

Anticipating this, Kaguya channeled a continuous flow of chakra into the needles.

The dragon breath, like a dragon trapped in a mire, was slowed by the dense fur. Struggling in vain, it eventually dissipated.

Seeing this, Kaguya felt a momentary sense of relief. She had weathered the most dangerous attack.

But was it truly the most dangerous?

Kaguya gazed at the silver dragon in the sky.

Thus far, she hadn't gained any advantage in the fight, nor had she even managed to injure him. This was unprecedented.

Kaguya's battle experience was limited to only two encounters, but both were against formidable opponents: Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, and then Hagoromo and Hamura.

"It ends now, Kaguya," Shinho declared, halting in mid-air.

Within his immortal aperture, countless Gu worms buzzed into action.

At their center was the Strength Path Immortal Gu, Self Strength Gu.

As they danced, the Gu worms wove together strands of light. Self Strength Gu erupted in a blinding radiance, like a miniature sun.

The light poured out from his immortal aperture, making his dragon form even more dazzling.

Each breath he took caused the clouds to swirl and churn like a raging sea. The sun in the sky seemed to dim in comparison.

Amidst the interplay of light and shadow, countless spectral figures materialized, filling the entire field of vision.

"So many Shinhos!" Naruto's eyes widened in disbelief. There were tens of thousands of them, each a perfect replica of Shinho.

"We need to leave! Now!" Hagoromo sensed an overwhelming catastrophe approaching.

Naruto, understanding the urgency, didn't hesitate.

While the attack wasn't directed at them, the sheer terror it inspired was unbearable.

"How can he be this strong?" Sasuke wondered, his mind reeling. But he didn't dare delay, fleeing alongside Hagoromo and Naruto.

They could escape, but Kaguya could not. She found the surrounding space completely locked down.

Neither Amenominaka nor Yomotsu Hirasaka could be used.

"Mother, are we..." Black Zetsu's voice trembled.

For the first time, in the face of this terrifying power, he felt the true presence of death.

"Not so easily!" Kaguya's body abruptly contracted.

In contrast, the chakra around her rapidly condensed, turning pitch black.

Expansive Truth-Seeking Ball!

This gigantic Truth-Seeking Ball contained the power of creation itself.

In the original story, it was described as capable of nullifying all things, returning the world to nothingness, and simultaneously serving as the starting point of a new dimension.

The Truth-Seeking Ball expanded relentlessly, seemingly without limit, its diameter quickly exceeding a kilometer.

Above, the sky was filled with countless Shinhos; below, a world-ending sphere of darkness. \

From afar, Hagoromo and the others felt as if the apocalypse had arrived.

Then, the world seemed to hold its breath.

Myriad Self! First Form: Great Hand Seal!

Tens of thousands of Shinhos simultaneously extended their right hands.

The Group Strength Gu activated. The Strength Gu, the Iron Crown Eagle Strength Gu, the Wailing Whale Strength Gu, and the Qi Grand Lion Strength Gu all sprang into action.

With a resounding boom, all their strength converged into a single point.

An enormous right hand materialized, its five fingers outstretched, pressing down towards the Expansive Truth-Seeking Ball and Kaguya.

Hagoromo's eyes widened.

All chakra in the vicinity was suppressed, the chaotic fluctuations abruptly ceasing.

Only the giant hand remained, piercing the heavens and earth. Before it, everything else lost all meaning.

"Look out!" A golden aura erupted from Naruto as he entered Six Paths Sage Mode.

Sage Art: Wind Release: Rasenshuriken!

The overwhelming shockwave collided with the Rasenshuriken, exploding outwards.

However, after a mere half-second pause, it continued to surge towards them.

"This way!" Sasuke yelled, pointing towards a nearby location.

His Six Tomoe Rinnegan blazed with a brilliant light, warping space. A swirling black and purple portal appeared.

The three of them quickly jumped through.

The moment they vanished, the ground beneath their former position disintegrated. The already ravaged landscape was further reduced to rubble.

A long time later, calm returned to the world.

The three emerged from the portal.

"The terrain has been completely reshaped," Hagoromo muttered aloud, his gaze fixed on the center of the battlefield.

The giant hand had vanished.

From within the deep crater, a figure slowly crawled out. It was Kaguya. She struggled to stand but collapsed back to the ground.

"She's been weakened to this extent?" Hagoromo's face was etched with astonishment.

Their battle with Kaguya a thousand years ago had nearly resulted in their destruction, yet he had never witnessed her in such a state.

A whooshing sound echoed as the silver dragon descended from the sky, transforming back into Shinho.

"..." Kaguya lifted her head with difficulty.

Looking at the completely unscathed Shinho, she coughed violently.

A stream of light flashed from her body, landing on the ground and transforming into White Zetsu.

The nine Tailed Beasts also separated, materializing around them.

But they remained utterly silent.

Within Kaguya's body, they had witnessed this unprecedented battle firsthand. Even the most boisterous among them were now reduced to meek observers.

Stripped of the Tailed Beasts' power, Kaguya was utterly exhausted.

Shinho crouched down, lifting her chin.

Beast Enslavement Gu!

A faint connection formed in his mind.

Having never seen Boruto, and lacking knowledge of the Ōtsutsuki clan, Shinho decided to keep Kaguya alive.
