King Of War: Starting with Arms Dealer

Chapter 945: Counter Ambush

The team attempting to raid Joe Ga's position was exceptionally skilled...

They had already set up a trap; the small building that had been blown up into a fiery torch earlier was specifically selected as the vantage point for P.B.'s cover sniper.

Their plan was to use the explosion to eliminate the sniper first, then surround Night Tiger and Ferryman.

This was a trap that wasn't overly meticulous but was extremely well-structured.

The people who set up the trap had a deep understanding of special operations, but unfortunately, their knowledge of Joe Ga was lacking. He wanted to go, but Dorian and the others wouldn't let him.

In the end, when they couldn't execute their plan, they resorted to detonating the small building to create a commotion, allowing its fire to illuminate the large area and neutralize part of Night Tiger and Ferryman's night-combat advantage.

Their actions were sharp and decisive, without any hesitation!

After the opponent's sniper was taken out, Joe Ga deliberately increased his shooting rate. He wanted to expose his shooting style to lure the enemy into making desperate moves—hoping to catch a big fish.

Claverley's words were accurate; Joseph from the International Health Organization was indeed the fuse...

Once the external conditions reached a level Joe Ga found acceptable, he deliberately triggered the fuse, forcing the opponent into desperate action.

Intelligence capabilities have always been a weak spot of P.B.; Thompson stayed behind in America temporarily to assist Monica and Eric in consolidating P.B.'s local network.

Without the veteran's help, relying on Frester and the few scattered Kitten agents would barely make an impact, to be honest.

Engaging the opponent in secret exchanges put Joe Ga at a major disadvantage.

Because he was always exposed!

Only by forcing them to surface could P.B.'s strengths truly shine.

Joseph from the International Health Organization was the key. If he was allowed to testify in court, it wouldn't just pull out a string of people—it would unravel more problems during subsequent investigations.

Any international organization inevitably ties into politics, and once this connects, plenty of people will sink with the ship.

Even those not onboard could be shoved onto it by rivals, sinking alongside it.

Joe Ga's pressure came from the villains' retaliation, while theirs originated from the network of relationships they'd built through cooperation...

"I damn well have nothing to do with the virus, but if you're exposed, I'll still get dragged down. Get your act together and fix this!"

Once Joe Ga triggered the fuse, schemes and conspiracies were rendered meaningless...

There was only one path left for both sides—head-on collision!

When Joe Ga revealed himself with his shooting habit, how could the opponent possibly hold back?

Sure enough, within less than two hours, someone came knocking...

The armed black factions on the ground launched a direct assault. These individuals stealthily navigated through the shantytown structures, avoiding detection by aerial drones, until they reached the building's perimeter, where Ronnie's alarms finally picked them up.

Using a rope, Joe Ga descended to the ground and patted Ayu on the shoulder while raising his weapon and cautiously approaching the building corner behind her.

This two-story building, covering roughly 1,000 square meters, was originally designed as a supermarket, shaped irregularly like an 'L,' with the main entrance located in the 'L' interior corner...

When Joe Ga and Ayu reached the corner, he pulled Ayu back, signaling her not to peek, and deployed his drone from his backpack.

The drone emitted a faint humming sound as it rose 15 meters in the air, circling before flying to the building's front.

Two teams of armed men were stationed on either side of the main entrance, preparing to breach the door.

Clearly aware they couldn't have reached the rooftop undetected, the men didn't hesitate much—after a brief scouting, both teams stormed in nearly simultaneously.

At that very moment, Night Tiger and Ferryman poked their heads out from 200 meters away from the building's front.

Joe Ga activated his communicator and said, "F1, hit them with an RPG, then we'll launch our assault..."

'Comet' retrieved a collapsible rocket launcher from a teammate's backpack, extended it, signaled readiness toward Night Tiger, and decisively pressed the trigger...

"Whoosh"

"Boom"

As the rocket launched, Night Tiger and Ferryman began a 100-meter sprint to secure positions before Joe Ga stormed the building...

Joe Ga didn't waste a second. He patted Ayu on the shoulder, signaling both to swiftly advance toward the diagonal front corner...

Upon reaching her position, Ayu drove a ballistic Shield into the ground beside her, then fired her machine gun at the door, suppressing two individuals attempting to charge out.

Crouched beside Ayu, Joe Ga used Shield's cover to quickly shoot, hitting one man using a first-floor window as cover, trying to target Night Tiger.

The bullet tore through the glass, smashed into the masked gunman's lower jaw, then exited through his neck.

The wounded gunman didn't die instantly, clutching his neck in agony as he dropped to the ground. The nearby individual scrambled for cover, panic evident.

This opponent was exceptionally responsive; the rocket explosion hadn't incapacitated them. They immediately spread out across the first floor, setting up defenses and retaliating using every resource available.

Ayu's fierce firepower made her their primary focus, followed by Night Tiger and Ferryman's frontal assault...

"Bang bang bang..."

"Bang bang bang..."

.........

.........

The concentrated gunfire erupted. Several bullets struck the wall beside Ayu; one hit the Shield inches from Joe Ga, ricocheting onto the cement floor, sending shards into his calf, drawing an angry curse...

Ayu remained unshaken, wielding her M240 machine gun to suppress the large first-floor windows...

Night Tiger and Ferryman, under heavy fire, swiftly went prone. Both teams' gunners utilized makeshift cover, retaliating ferociously.

The larger Night Tiger team formed the frontal assault unit, absorbing enemy fire.

The three-person Ferryman squad crawled a dozen meters to the left, then sprinted toward Joe Ga to regroup.

Joe Ga observed Night Tiger's two gunners at the main door, effectively coordinating with Ayu to hold off the building's retaliation. He activated his communicator, issuing orders: "Tony, send in two Springblades. Elephant, Ronnie, prepare yourselves..."

"Yes, sir!"

Moments later, two Springblade drones descended from above, diving into windows and detonating explosively.

Amidst the chaos, multiple flashbangs detonated inside the building.

Recognizing Dorian and Ronnie had deployed Flashbang Grenades during their descent, Joe Ga tapped Ayu's shoulder...

Ayu retrieved her Shield, mounted her machine gun through its side slot, while Joe Ga switched his HK417 to his left shoulder, sticking close to her, advancing under the Shield's protective cover...

Night Tiger moved faster...

With gunners providing protection, five operatives dashed through the building's side entrance, followed by intense gunfire from inside.

As Joe Ga's team entered, they trained their weapons on Night Tiger's weak flank...

"Bang"

Joe Ga eliminated a cornered man wildly firing his weapon, then tossed a grenade into a blind spot.

'Boom!'

"We're clear..."

'Comet' led his men into the blind spot, firing upon individuals struggling to stand.

The enemy had 12 skilled operatives but couldn't withstand Joe Ga's ambush, crumbling within three minutes.

Well-prepared, leveraging superior firepower, and employing pincer attacks rendered the enemy powerless.

'Clear.'

'Clear.'

Upon hearing Night Tiger and Ferryman's confirmation, Joe Ga shouted, "Search for survivors; I need to ask some questions...

Elephant, have Tony prepare for extraction. Ronnie, start the vehicle..."

As Joe Ga finished speaking, 'Monkey' raised his hand. "We've got two alive..."

'Comet' dragged a wounded black-clad gunman over. "Found one here."

Seeing the captured enemy, Joe Ga executed all remaining ones, gathered some equipment, and walked toward the prisoners...

With a clatter, he dumped weapons before the captives, then drew his pistol, loaded it with Bullet Ant rounds, and shot each in the leg...

Once confirming the rounds' venom kicked in, Joe Ga crouched in front of a pale, thirty-something Caucasian man. "Where's your commander?"

"Ah..."

The Caucasian soldier groaned in agony from the venom, glaring at Joe Ga but managed to speak. "Spare me, and I'll tell you..."

Joe Ga smirked, replying, "So loyalty isn't your thing, huh? Looks like you're mercenaries.

Who's your employer?

Armor Group?

Or Baudelaire Asset Management Company?"

Spotting hesitation in the man's eyes, Joe Ga chuckled. "Don't stall—it's useless.

Tell me who hired you and where your commander is. I'll send you to Congo's court tomorrow; maybe you can gamble on the judge's mercy..."

While interrogating, Ronnie's voice came through the radio. "Boss, a large group of armed black fighters is closing in..."

Joe Ga instantly gestured. "All machine gunners on high alert. Ferryman, secure the rear exit. Night Tiger, hold the front. Give me some time..."
