Since we got a lead on another Fort Rozz escapee roaming the streets of National City. Kara and I have been scouring the city for hours, but it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack. We don't have a clue where this guy is hiding.

The only thing we know is that he seems to be after places with insulated holding tanks, but there are tons of those all over the city. We're basically just running around blind. This is so frustrating!

I dispatch a bunch of my candroids to scout out the areas with those insulated holding tank thingies all over the city. If that Fort Rozz escapee creep decides to hit up any of those spots, my little robot spies can keep an eye on him and let me know. Gotta be ready in case that jerk tries to cause any trouble.

We've been keeping an eye on that Fort Rozz escapee for the past few days, but the guy hasn't made a peep. Looks like he's laying low for now. Anyway, my folks and I are getting ready to head out for a nice little picnic in the park. Should be a good chance to relax and recharge after all this running around.

Mom hands me a basket filled with her delicious home-cooked dishes.

"Make sure you take good care of these, Haruka. I packed all your favorites," she says with a warm smile. I nod and carefully place the basket in the backseat of the car.

"Alright, looks like we're all set!" Dad announces as he shuts the trunk. "Time to head to the park for a nice family picnic."

I slide into the passenger seat, excited for the afternoon ahead. "This is gonna be great."

"Me too, this is nice. Just a nice normal family outing," Dad says with a chuckle as he starts the engine.

As we drive through the city, I gaze out the window, taking in the sights. It's a beautiful day, perfect for a picnic. I can already smell the aromas of the food wafting from the basket in the back.

"So Haruka, how are you and Kara lately?" Mom asks from the backseat.

"We've both been so busy with our internships and everything. But we're regularly keeping in contact with each other."

"You know, you should introduce her to me sometime. Your dad is the only one who's met her so far. I want to meet her too, you know?" I shrug, trying to sound casual about it.

"Maybe, someday," I reply, keeping my tone noncommittal.

Mom's always trying to play matchmaker. "You and Kara would make such a cute couple," she says with that twinkle in her eye. I get it, Kara's amazing - smart, funny, not to mention gorgeous. But I'm just not ready for that kind of relationship, you know? Being a Kamen Rider takes up so much of my time and energy, I can barely keep up with my internship as it is. The last thing I need is the complication of a girlfriend, no matter how great she might be.

We arrive at the park, and I can't help but feel a sense of relief wash over me. The weather is perfect - a clear blue sky dotted with fluffy white clouds, and a gentle breeze that carries the scent of freshly cut grass. The park itself is a lush, sprawling oasis, with winding paths that wind through vibrant flower beds and shady groves of towering trees.

Families and friends have already gathered, spreading out colorful picnic blankets and setting up their meals. Children dart about, laughing and playing on the swingsets and jungle gyms.

"This is just what we needed," Dad says, a content smile on his face as he surveys the peaceful setting. "Come on, let's find a spot to set up."

We find a nice shaded spot under a large oak tree, the dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves. Mom lays out a soft picnic blanket, and Dad sets down the basket of delicious-smelling food. I take a deep breath, inhaling the comforting aromas of Mom's homemade dishes.

"This looks perfect," I say, a genuine smile spreading across my face as I take a seat on the blanket. Mom and Dad join me, and we start unpacking the basket, chatting about our day and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the park.

I take a deep breath, inhaling the comforting aromas of Mom's homemade dishes. On the picnic blanket, an array of familiar Japanese delicacies is laid out before us. There's her signature miso soup, its savory broth still steaming. Alongside it are perfectly formed onigiri rice balls, their nori wrappers glistening. I spot the bright pink pickled ginger, a perfect accompaniment to the crisp vegetable tempura. And, of course, Mom's heavenly tamagoyaki—the sweet, rolled omelet that's always my favorite—is also present.

"This looks delicious," I say, a genuine smile spreading across my face as I take a seat on the blanket.

Dad reaches into the cooler and pulls out a can of beer, offering it to me. "Here, son, have a cold one. It's a perfect day for it."

Mom shoots him a disapproving look. "Matsu, you know Haruka is still underage. He shouldn't be drinking."

Dad chuckles. "Aw, come on, Hana. It's just one beer. He's 18, he can handle it." He hands me the can, giving me a wink.

I hesitate for a moment, then shrug and take the beer. "Thanks, Dad." I pop the tab and take a sip, the crisp, cold liquid refreshing on this warm afternoon.

Mom sighs but doesn't say anything else, instead focusing on unpacking the rest of the picnic feast. Dad grins and grabs a can for himself, clinking it against mine.

"Cheers, Haruka. To a nice, relaxing day with the family."

I nod and take another drink, savoring the flavor as I gaze out at the peaceful park around us.

I savor the first bite of Mom's delicious tamagoyaki, the sweet and savory flavors melting on my tongue. The picnic spread is a comforting taste of home, and I'm grateful to be able to enjoy it with my family.

After we've had our fill of the tasty dishes, Dad pulls out a badminton set. "Who's up for a game?" he asks, his eyes twinkling with excitement. I grin and jump to my feet, ready to take him on. We set up the net and start volleying the birdie back and forth, the rhythmic sounds of the game mingling with the laughter of children playing nearby. It feels good to just let loose and have some fun with my dad.

I slam the birdie down, winning the point with ease.

"I won, Dad." I grin, feeling the adrenaline coursing through me.

Dad hunches over, gasping for breath. "Hah, hah, hah... Nice game, Haruka. You were not this good before. Did all of that morning exercise do this?"

I shrug casually. "I guess you could say that."

The truth is, the badminton match was hardly a fair fight. The Rider System has already enhanced my body to superhuman levels, and with all the intense training I've been doing, my physical abilities have grown exponentially. But I do not need to mention that.

Dad's face is glistening with sweat as he hunches over, gasping for breath. "Hah... I need to take a break."

He plops down on the picnic blanket next to Mom. She hands him a cool glass of refreshing tea.

"You really should exercise more, dear. You're always cooped up in the office, hunched over those documents." Mom tuts, a playful glint in her eye.

Dad puffs out his chest. "Hey, I'm not that out of shape!" He winces as Mom pinches the soft skin of his belly.

"The amount of flab you've got here says otherwise." Mom giggles, shaking her head.

Dad lets out a defeated sigh. "Alright, alright, you've made your point."

I chuckle as I watch my parents' playful banter. "You two are too much."

Mom pats her lap, beckoning me over. "Haruka, come here. I'm sure you're tired."

I smile and oblige, lying down on her lap. Her soothing fingers run through my hair. "Are you comfortable?" she asks.

"Mmm, yes. I could just fall asleep like this," I murmur, already feeling my eyelids growing heavy.

"Good," she says softly, continuing to gently stroke my head.

I can feel the gentle breeze caress my face as I rest my head on Mom's lap. The warmth of her legs is soothing, putting me at ease.

"This is nice," I murmur, my eyes fluttering closed.

Mom's fingers tenderly comb through my hair. "I'm so glad you were able to stand back up again, Haruka."

I open my eyes and look up at her. "What do you mean, Mom?"

She gazes down at me, her expression soft. "When you got into that accident, I thought you wouldn't wake up again. Mom was so worried for you." Her hand pauses for a moment. "Before the accident, I noticed you were not in a good place. But now I feel at ease. Seeing you smile again and making friends, it makes Mom very happy."

I reach up and give her hand a gentle squeeze. "I'm sorry I worried you, Mom. But I'm doing much better now. Thanks to you and Dad, and my friends, I've found my way back."

Mom leans down and places a soft kiss on my forehead. "I'm just grateful to have you back, safe and sound. Now rest, my dear. Enjoy this peaceful day with your family."

I close my eyes again, feeling the warmth of the sun and the comforting presence of my loved ones surrounding me. In this moment, I'm truly content.

Hana gazed down at Haruka's sleeping form, a soft smile gracing her lips. "I'm so relieved he's doing better. When he lost his memories, I was so worried," she said, her voice tinged with relief.

Matsu placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "But he's back now, and stronger than ever. I thought we would lose him in the accident, but he's proven he can overcome anything," he said, his tone brimming with pride.

Hana nodded, reaching out to gently brush Haruka's hair. "Yes, our son is truly remarkable."

Matsu squeezed her hand, his own eyes filled with warmth. "We're a family, and he is safe. That is what matters."

Hana and Matsu sat in comfortable silence, savoring the peaceful moment as a family. They watched over Haruka, who slumbered peacefully, his features relaxed. The parents exchanged a tender look, their eyes conveying the deep love and gratitude they felt in this quiet, cherished time together.

Hana's brow furrowed with concern as she wiped the beads of sweat from her brow. "It is starting to get hot," she mentioned.

Matsu nodded, "Yes, would you like something to drink?"

"Yes, please. I might get a heatstroke at this rate," Hana replied, fanning herself.

Matsu stood up and made his way to the cooler. As he opened it, his expression shifted to one of puzzlement. "That's odd," he murmured, furrowing his brow. "The ice has completely melted. I could have sworn I packed it properly earlier."

Hana looked up, her features etched with worry. "Is everything alright, dear?"

"The ice already melted. The cooler should have kept it cold for at least a few more hours..." Matsu trailed off, his voice laced with confusion.

Matsu furrowed his brow as he examined the cooler. The other families in the park also began to fidget, fanning themselves and looking around with puzzled expressions. A gentle breeze had picked up, but the air felt oppressive and thick, as if the temperature was steadily rising.

A young boy tugged at his mother's sleeve. "Mom, why is it getting so hot?" he asked, his voice tinged with concern.

The mother frowned, glancing around at the other park-goers who were growing increasingly restless. "I'm not sure, dear. Let's just try to stay cool for now."

Haruka woke up as the stifling heat permeated the air. He sat up and glanced around the park. The once-tranquil lake now bubbled and roiled, the swan boats melting into twisted, distorted shapes.

"Mom? Dad?" Haruka turned to Hana and Matsu, who watched the unsettling scene unfold with growing unease.

Hana shook her head, her expression etched with concern. "We're not sure what's happening, Haruka. Everything suddenly became hotter."

Matsu placed a hand on Haruka's shoulder, his gaze fixed on the boiling lake. "Something's not right. We need to get out of here, now."

Haruka's heart raced as he took in the increasingly bizarre and ominous situation unfolding around them. He knew that whatever was causing this sudden and drastic change in temperature was likely not a natural occurrence. Dread crept up his spine, and he instinctively reached for the Faiz Driver hidden beneath his clothes, ready to transform if needed.

The ground rumbled, and everyone panicked, thinking it was an earthquake. Families scrambled to gather their belongings, some calling out in alarm as the earth shook beneath their feet. Hana gripped Haruka's arm, her eyes wide with fear, while Matsu steadied them both, his gaze darting around the park.

The tremors grew stronger, causing the melting swan boats to capsize and the bubbling lake to slosh over its banks. People screamed and ran for cover, unsure of what was causing this sudden and alarming upheaval of the earth.

Haruka tensed, his hand still on the Faiz Driver as he scanned the area, searching for the source of the disturbance.

Flames erupted from the ground, scorching the earth with their intense heat. To Haruka's horror, a humanoid figure emerged from the inferno. Its body was composed of living magma, encased in a volcanic shell.

The creature's head flared with an open flame, resembling a crown of dancing fire that flickered and crackled with each movement. Its muscular, segmented limbs were the color of cooling volcanic rock, with glowing magma seeping through the cracks in its surface.

The humanoid figure is Ignakos and he lets out a booming roar that echoed across the park.

"Supergirl! Kamen Rider! Show yourselves!" he demanded, his voice rumbling like the earth itself.

Without warning, Ignakos thrust out his hands, unleashing a barrage of fireballs that rained down on the panicked crowd. People scattered in all directions, their screams of terror filling the air as they desperately sought cover from the scorching attacks.

Haruka turned to his parents, his expression grave. "Mom, Dad, we need to get out of here. This is too dangerous,"

Hana and Matsu wasted no time, quickly gathering their belongings and ushering Haruka forward. As they fled, Haruka's gaze swept across the panicked crowd, and his heart sank when he spotted a small child, tears streaming down her cheeks, calling out for her parents.

"Mama! Papa!" she continues to cry.

Without hesitation, Haruka turned to his parents. "I have to help her. You two go ahead, I'll catch up," he said, already moving towards the child.

"Haruka, wait!" Hana cried, but her son had already broken away.

Haruka sprinted towards the child, scooping her up just in time as a large, flaming rock crashed down where she had been standing. He held the girl close, shielding her from the scorching debris.

"Are you okay?" Haruka asked, his voice gentle but laced with concern. "Don't worry, we'll find your parents."

Keeping the child secure, Haruka hurried to the area where the police had set up a perimeter. He approached an officer, gesturing to the frightened girl.

"This child got lost from her parents."

The officer nodded. "Alright, now stay back behind the line for your safety, kid."

But Haruka couldn't bring himself to leave. He cast one last glance at the child before turning and racing back towards the chaotic park.

"Hey kid! Are you looking to die? Get back here!" the officer shouted after him, but Haruka was already gone, driven by an unwavering need to protect.

Haruka took out the Faiz Phone and pressed the transformation app, inputting 555 into the keypad.

[Standing By]

"Henshin!"

Haruka inserted the Faiz Phone into the Faiz Driver. Red photon lines appeared around his body, and he transformed into Kamen Rider Faiz.

"I need to stop that molten man before he burns down the park."

Ignakos laughed maniacally as he continued his fiery onslaught, scorching the park with relentless bursts of flame. Kamen Rider Faiz sprang into action, transforming his Faiz Phone into its blaster mode. He took aim and fired a rapid series of energy projectiles at the molten monstrosity, the blasts slamming into Ignakos's fiery form.

Ignakos whirled around, his molten form crackling with anger. "Who dares shoot me?"

His gaze fell upon Kamen Rider Faiz, and his lips curled into a twisted grin. "So you finally show up, Kamen Rider! I thought I had burned down the entire area to catch your attention."

Haruka's eyes narrowed behind the Faiz helmet. "Who are you?"

"Me?" Ignakos let out a booming laugh. "I'm Ignakos, from the planet Magnarok!"

"An alien?" Haruka's voice held a note of disbelief. "Why are you attacking innocent people?"

"Of course, it is to get your and Supergirl's attention. Too bad the other one is not here, but one out of two is not bad." His eyes narrowed as he spoke, a sinister gleam in his molten gaze.

"Did you arrive on Earth from Fort Rozz?"

The fiery creature tilted his head, a mocking grin spreading across his face. "It seems you are quite well informed."

"Are you the reason those factories were attacked?"

Ignakos shrugged nonchalantly. "Hmm? Well, I suppose so. I need to eat, and only those places can provide what I need." He let out a booming laugh, as if finding amusement in the destruction he had wrought.

"Did you have to kill those guards!"

"Human lives are insignificant." Ignakos waved a dismissive hand. "Enough chatter! It is time to destroy you. You and that blonde brat are an eyesore! Her mother sent me to Fort Rozz, so I will be dealing with her later!"

"You won't get the chance!"

Haruka charged at Ignakos, his Faiz Edge blade clashing against the fiery villain's molten fists. The two combatants exchanged a flurry of blows, the air crackling with the intensity of their battle.

Ignakos unleashed a gout of flames, but Haruka nimbly dodged the scorching attack, countering with a series of precise slashes. The blade carved furrows in Ignakos's volcanic skin, eliciting a roar of pain from the creature.

"Pathetic human!" Ignakos growled, his voice rumbling like an erupting volcano. He swept his arm, sending a wave of fire surging towards Haruka.

Haruka braced himself, raising his Faiz Edge to deflect the flames. The intense heat seared his armor, but he refused to back down, pushing forward through the fiery onslaught.

Closing the distance, Haruka unleashed a flurry of strikes, his blade a blur as he relentlessly attacked Ignakos. The fiery villain grunted in pain, his molten body beginning to show signs of strain.

Sensing an opportunity, Haruka powered up his Faiz Shot, unleashing a rapid barrage of energy blasts. The projectiles slammed into Ignakos, staggering the creature and forcing him back.

"Argh! You will pay for this!" Ignakos roared, his molten skin crackling with rage.

The two combatants continued their fierce battle, neither willing to back down. Haruka's agility and precision complemented Ignakos's raw power and elemental control, creating a deadlock that showed no signs of resolution.

As the fight raged on, the surrounding area was engulfed in flames, the once-tranquil park reduced to a smoldering ruin. Civilians fled in terror, their screams echoing through the chaos.

Haruka knew he had to end this battle quickly before more innocent lives were put at risk. He needed to find a way to neutralize Ignakos's fiery abilities and gain the upper hand.

Ignakos unleashed another torrent of flames, the intense heat forcing Faiz to retreat. The Rider's mind raced, searching for a solution. Suddenly, an idea struck him.

Haruka activated the Faiz Blaster, transforming his weapon into a high-powered energy cannon.

[Faiz Blaster, Materialize]

He took aim at Ignakos, the glowing barrel humming with power.

"Let's see how you handle this!" Haruka shouted, unleashing a devastating energy blast.

The blast slammed into Ignakos, enveloping the fiery creature in a blinding explosion. Haruka watched intently, waiting to see the outcome of his attack.

As the smoke cleared, Ignakos remained standing, his molten form charred and cracked, but still intact. The villain let out a guttural laugh, his eyes burning with malice.

"Is that the best you can do, Kamen Rider?" Ignakos taunted, his body regenerating the damaged areas. "I will not be defeated so easily!"

Ignakos raised his arms, his molten body crackling with power. Suddenly, a swirling vortex of flames erupted around him, the intense heat searing the air. The fiery tornado whipped and roared, its scorching winds threatening to tear everything in its path.

Haruka braced himself, his Faiz armor straining against the powerful gusts. He quickly scanned the area, spotting a sturdy tree trunk nearby. Without hesitation, he latched onto it, using his enhanced strength to anchor himself against the raging inferno. The Kamen Rider gritted his teeth as the flames licked at his armor, determined not to be swept away by Ignakos's devastating attack.

Haruka's mind raced, searching for a way to stop Ignakos. An idea struck him.

"Time to try this."

He pressed the Accel App on his Faiz Phone.

[Complete]

Haruka twisted the Faiz armor 180 degrees, causing the photon lines to shift from red to a rainbow of colors. His eyes flashed, changing from yellow to a fierce red. In an instant, Kamen Rider Faiz transformed into his Accel Form.

The Accel Form is a temporary form that allows Haruka to move at the speed of sound for 10 seconds.

Haruka taps the Faiz Phone to start the timer.

[Start Up]

The 10-second countdown began, and the surroundings seemed to slow down in his enhanced perception.

Seizing the opportunity, Haruka surged forward at the speed of sound, his form blurring as he rushed towards the raging fire tornado. With pinpoint precision, he slammed into Ignakos, knocking the molten villain out of the vortex and slamming him hard into the ground.

Ignakos let out a roar of pain and surprise as Haruka's fists became a blur, delivering a rapid-fire series of powerful punches. The Kamen Rider's enhanced speed and strength allowed him to pummel the fiery creature, each strike landing with devastating force.

Sensing an opening, Haruka unleashed a devastating uppercut, his fist connecting with Ignakos's chin and launching the fiery villain into the air. Without pause, he leaped up, lining up his Faiz Pointer. Suddenly, a swarm of crimson drills appeared, surrounding Ignakos in midair.

With a powerful kick, Haruka sent the drills surging forward, slamming into Ignakos from all directions. The molten creature crashed into the ground, creating a crater from the impact. Ignakos's charred and broken body lay motionless in the crater.

[Time out]

[Reformation]

The Accel Form's time limit has expired. Haruka returned to his base, Faiz form. Haruka sees the villain's defeated form with a grim expression.

"How could a human possibly defeat me?" Ignakos growled in disbelief, his molten form crackling with frustration. The fiery villain struggled to comprehend how Kamen Rider Faiz had managed to overpower him.

Haruka met Ignakos's gaze, a hint of determination in his eyes. "I guess you underestimated me," he replied calmly, unwavering in the face of the alien's towering presence.

Haruka pressed the Faiz Phone, quickly dialing the number for the DEO. After a few rings, the call was answered.

"This is Director Chase," a stern voice spoke.

"Director, this is Kamen Rider. I've found the missing Fort Rozz inmate. He's been defeated and is down," Haruka reported, his tone serious.

"Understood. Our teams are already en route to your location. Stay put and keep the area secure until they arrive," Chase commanded.

"Acknowledged." Haruka ended the call, turning his attention back to the unconscious form of Ignakos. The fiery villain lay motionless, his molten body cracked and charred from the battle. Haruka let out a small sigh, relieved that the threat had been neutralized, but wary of what else might be in store.
