Kakashi Masters All Elements, Rewrites the Ninja World for Rin!

Chapter 68: Chapter 68: Kakashi vs. the Seven Swordsmen

"Guy, take these three and retreat—get reinforcements!"Kakashi's voice was calm, but serious.

The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist… working together, they could kill a Kage-level enemy and hold off the Third Mizukage. This battlefield was no place for Guy and his squad.

"Kakashi, I'm not leaving you behind!""No! I'm staying too!"Guy and Rin spoke in unison, clearly unwilling.

"Be good and listen," Kakashi said, gently patting Rin on the head before turning to Guy. "You know I've got better odds solo. Plus, I work best when I don't have to babysit."

"Kakashi..." Guy hesitated, eyes wide with frustration.

"This fight's way above your pay grade, Guy. I'm ordering you—as a Jōnin. Take Rin and the others. Protect them."

Guy flinched at the words, his fists clenched."Alright…" he finally choked out. "But you have to come back."

"I'm flattered. Really. But go before I start getting misty-eyed."Kakashi offered him a crooked smirk.

"Tch tch tch... how heartwarming," Biwa Jūzō sneered, stepping forward."But have you all forgotten about us?"

With a flicker of chakra, an intense bloodlust burst from Jūzō like a wave.Genma Shiranui and Ebisu froze where they stood, paralyzed by sheer killing intent.

Even Rin and Guy visibly paled under the pressure, though they managed to stay mobile.

"Go!" Kakashi growled, stepping protectively in front of them.

"Right!""The Third Gate: Gate of Life—open!"

Guy wasted no time, throwing Genma and Ebisu over his shoulders like gym bags."Rin, come on!""Kakashi, you better come back alive!"

Rin looked back at him, worry etched across her face. But she knew she'd only slow him down. Without hesitation, she turned and followed Guy.

"You think you can just run?" Jūzō growled, lunging forward with his massive blade raised.

CLANG!His beheading sword was suddenly stopped mid-swing—by Kakashi's short blade.

"Oh? Nice reflexes, brat," Jūzō said with mild surprise. "Didn't expect someone your size to parry that."

Kakashi didn't answer. He simply pushed off and lunged back, blade ready.

Jūzō narrowed his eyes. "You're that young Jōnin from Konoha? A genius, huh? Let's see how long that title keeps you alive."

"You know, I really prefer 'prodigy of charm,' but sure—'genius' works too." Kakashi's voice was casual, almost bored. "But hey, let's get this over with. I've got brooding to do after this."

"Still got jokes? That'll change when you're bleeding out."Jūzō charged again, swinging with force.

To his surprise, the silver-haired brat kept parrying, holding his own for more than a dozen clashes.

"Hey, Jūzō! You need help against a kid?"Kisame's predecessor—Kuriarare Kushimaru—grinned, showing shark-like teeth.

"Shut up. I'm just getting started!" Jūzō barked, slightly embarrassed.

"You done flirting, or can we focus now?" grunted the massive Fuguki Suikazan, the one wielding Samehada.

"Tch. Fine!" Jūzō leapt back and exhaled sharply. "Kid, your swordplay's decent, but it ends here."

He brought his fingers into a seal."Hidden Mist Jutsu!"

Thick fog burst from Jūzō, quickly enveloping the battlefield. The mist was suffocating, dense, and unnatural—giving the advantage entirely to Mist-nin.

"Ah, great. Fog. My favorite element after depression," Kakashi muttered.

He closed his eyes, slowed his breathing, and focused. Even if he couldn't see, he'd trained under Minato. That meant he had alternatives.

There—he heard it. The subtle whistle of a sword cutting through air.

Now!

"Hatake Style: Thunder Seal Slash!"

Kakashi's blade flared to life with a current of lightning. Channeling his chakra through it, he sidestepped the incoming slash and appeared instantly behind Jūzō.

"Surprise," he whispered.

Jūzō spun just in time—almost.

Kakashi's sword suddenly extended, lightning crackling outward an extra inch—just enough to slice across Jūzō's waist.

SIZZLE!The lightning surged into Jūzō's body, paralyzing his muscles.

Got him.

Kakashi lunged, aiming to finish the job—

BOOM!

An explosion erupted in front of him. Kakashi was forced to leap back as the mist was blasted away.

From the smoke stepped Jinpachi Munashi, the mad bomber with the explosive blade, Shibuki.

"Not bad, kid. You actually made Jūzō sweat."

"Yeah, and that guy sweats confidence. It's gross." Kakashi muttered.

Jūzō, clutching his side, growled. "I underestimated him. He's stronger than I thought."

"Well, I'm honored," Kakashi said dryly. "Should I start charging for compliments?"

"Enough," growled Fuguki. "We're wasting time."

Six figures moved in unison. Only Jūzō remained back, recovering. The rest surrounded Kakashi like sharks scenting blood.

And the water was churning.

Crisis was coming.

But Kakashi... just smiled beneath his mask."Wow. Six-on-one? I'm flattered you think I'm worth the effort."
