Kakashi: Godless Ascension

Chapter 8: Ch8: Nature pulse seal

After spending some time drinking with Kurenai, Kakashi finally walked her to her room and then returned to his own. The hallway was quiet now, lit by soft lanterns, and his footsteps barely made a sound on the polished wood.

Inside, the room was just as calm. He slid the door closed behind him and sat down at the low table in the center. Without hesitation, he reached into his pouch and pulled out his ninja tool bag.

"Let's get started," he muttered to himself, laying the bag open with practiced ease.

From inside, he took out several blank sealing scrolls and a pot of ink specially made for fuinjutsu. The brush, fine and sharp, rested lightly in his fingers. His eyes held a glint of focus as he dipped them into the ink.

Using the Formula Reconstruction Technique, Kakashi could build seals from scratch, refining and improving them based on memory, theory, or observation. It had become second nature now.

He sat still for a moment, eyes half-lidded as he mentally reviewed the sealing catalog stored in his mind. It was massive, layered with years of knowledge, and now expanded with the complete sealing compendium from the Naruto world. His Sharingan activated with a soft hum, helping him read and process the complexity of the seals much faster.

Chakra storage. Chakra transfer. Chakra amplification.

He focused on those three concepts. They were simple on their own, but combined, he had something far more useful in mind.

The chakra storage seal, for example, lets the user store excess chakra for emergencies. Useful, but not enough on its own. Chakra transfer seals allowed a person to pass chakra to another, helpful, but risky if not handled correctly. Amplification seals boosted specific techniques… but could be unstable.

What if he merged them?

He closed his eyes, visualizing the separate components and slowly piecing them together into one cohesive design. A seal that could store chakra attuned to a specific nature, like Fire, Lightning, or Yin, and later amplify jutsu tied to that element.

"That's it…" he murmured.

With the idea forming clearly in his mind, he began to sketch the structure on a fresh scroll. The central core would hold the chakra nature, and the layered circles around it would regulate flow, timing, and release.

His brush moved in careful strokes, tracing spirals and formulas with pinpoint precision. The paper absorbed the ink, glowing faintly as the seal came to life.

An hour passed in silence, broken only by the occasional flick of his wrist.

When he finished, Kakashi leaned back and examined it. The completed seal looked elegant and functional. The Nature Pulse Seal.

He gave a slight smile. It wasn't flashy, but it was practical. It could store chakra, transfer it, and amplify matching jutsu without wasting energy.

"Not bad for something done in one sitting."

He didn't feel tired at all, if anything, his mind buzzed with more ideas. With the Formula Reconstruction technique, creating seals had become almost effortless. This must be the ROB's gift at full effect. Peak-level sealing talent just dropped in his lap.

Kakashi wasn't one to waste opportunities.

"I should take advantage of this while it lasts."

With a grin, he picked up another scroll and decided to work on a basic but extremely useful storage seal. He began sketching new symbols, forming rings and brackets as the design expanded across the page.

After finishing, he made a hand seal to activate it. The ink shimmered briefly, and in the next moment, the seal detached from the scroll and climbed onto the skin under his left wrist.

It took shape there, forming into a three-tomoe pattern, his personal touch.

"Let's test it."

He grabbed his ninja tool bag again, placed his hand over it, and formed another seal. With a small puff of smoke, the entire bag vanished, sealed neatly into the mark on his wrist.

Kakashi nodded in approval. Then he casually picked up a few more items around the room, a teacup, a folded towel, even the ink pot, and sealed them away too. Everything disappeared with ease.

When he unsealed them seconds later, each item returned intact.

"Broken inventory technique, huh?" he muttered with amusement. "I like it."

After testing and returning everything, Kakashi stood and walked outside to the veranda that overlooked the Sakura garden. The petals still floated through the breeze, a few drifting down onto the wooden deck.

He reached out and caught one gently between his fingers.

Holding the leaf flat on his palm, Kakashi closed his eyes and began a simple chakra control exercise. He channeled his energy upward, making the leaf hover a few centimeters above his skin.

It wobbled.

He frowned slightly and adjusted the chakra output.

Too much, and the leaf would blow away. Too little, and it would drop. Finding the perfect balance was always tricky, but it was excellent control training.

The leaf slowly stabilized, floating in the air his hand.

He opened his eyes and smiled.

"Still got it."

After a few more minutes of quiet practice, Kakashi exhaled slowly and sat down again, this time cross-legged on the wooden floor of the veranda. He rolled his shoulders once and closed his eyes again, this time preparing for something more intense.

Chakra refining.

It wasn't about using chakra, but creating it, growing it, and shaping it.

He slowed his breathing. Focused. He drew on the physical energy of his body, the strength in his limbs, the vitality in his blood. Then he added the spiritual energy of his mind, concentration, willpower, and memory.

The mix was slow, careful. Chakra flowed into being deep within him.

Sweat began to form at his temples, but he didn't move. He kept still, let the process continue at its natural rhythm. This wasn't a battle. It was patience.

After twenty minutes, he slowly opened his eyes. A soft pulse of warmth settled in his core, fresh chakra, just refined.

Not a lot, but it was steady and clean.

"Better than nothing," he muttered, standing and stretching his arms over his head.

His muscles felt looser now. His head was clear. Between the sealing experiments, chakra control, and refining, the night had been productive.

And the best part? He had plenty more ideas waiting to be explored.

As he looked up at the moonlit sky, a soft breeze stirred the sakura petals around him. He didn't say anything.

But in his heart, he felt it.

A fresh start. A better Kakashi. And he had no plans to slow down.
