Kaijin Fighter: So I Have to Make Monsters, So What?

As Zhen Liu thought he and his kaijin were going to get screwed over, or at the very least he was going to have to make a suboptimal decision like forcing the Doll Twins to take on [Cores] they weren't compatible with, an unexpected miracle had occurred.

From the corner of his eyes, Zhen Liu saw that Maggie had decided to bestow upon him the horse skull totem of the Gallum Brothers, despite the emotional weight it carried for her.

Granted, "bestow" was a rather weak word for this moment.

With all of the tar in the room and the enemy kaijin about to gank him, Maggie couldn't just walk over and hand him the piece of personalized history. Instead, she had to throw it like a football in Zhen Liu's direction.

^CATCH!^

To her credit, Maggie threw it with enough force that the totem would land in Zhen Liu's arms in under five seconds at most. The only problem was that, based on its current flight path, the totem would reach him at the same time as the enemy kaijin... unless Zhen Liu did something really stupid.

'Nepherage. I need you to throw me at that skull. Blazedjudicator, assist Nepherage in keeping those jackasses busy. No questions asked.'

[Understood,] Nepherage willingly complied, having full faith in her creator's insanity.

[What? But Executor-!]

'DON'T CARE! THROW ME NOW!'

In the exact moment that Zhen Liu and Nepherage were about to get attacked by the [Demon Knights], all hell broke loose.

[Eh? Who's the rock bitch?]

[Don't know, but she just threw away our target!]

All four of Dante's [Demon Knights] were in the pit at this point in time, with Oizys a step behind them, and were making moves to attack Zhen Liu and Nepherage in one go. As such, they were caught off guard when Nepherage proceeded to throw Zhen Liu like he was a piece of luggage.

[Get back here, coward!] Gumba roared as he and the other knights turned to chase after Zhen Liu.

[You bastards are going nowhere!]

[I concur!]

[Another one?!]

[Wait…that's the burning bastard that I was sensing inside of that cowgirl from earlier!]

Before the reprobates could give chase, however, Blazejudicator popped out of Zhen Liu and released a burst of flames that momentarily stalled Gumba and Slavina. Gumba got caught up because he was too slow to adjust, while Slavina was a plant.

At the same time, Nepherage moved in from behind to strike at the backs of both Delictum and Obsidious with a rain of stone bullets.

The rat-king kaijin and owl kaijin ended up being unable to avoid the attack and got knocked for their troubles.

[Yes!]

[Thanks for clearing the way for me, you old bastards!]

[No!]

Unfortunately, due to Blazejudicator and Nepherage focusing on the immediate threat in the form of the [Demon Knights], they had neglected the fact that Oizys was bringing up the rear.

[Die for me!]

The kaijin of tar and [Despair] accelerated in order to position themselves in such a way that they could knock Zhen Liu directly into the tar pit below and prime them for a brutal decapitation.

Unfortunately for Oizys, they weren't going to get that opportunity.

^How about you fuck off!^

[Huh? BAH!]

As Oizys surged forward, a black iron slab that was vaguely shaped like a greatsword was suddenly flung at his head. The blade had a blunt end, but Oizys's body was soft enough that the blade essentially impaled itself into the tar kaijin's body.

In the distance, a distressed-looking Lythero was heavily panting due to empowering and throwing the [Heavy Black Iron Slab], an action the blade was clearly not designed for.

^You better make this count,^ Lythero said to Zhen Liu, despite knowing that the latter wasn't able to hear him in that moment.

Zhen Liu was too busy making contact with the horse skull totem and channeling [Chaos] into the seal on his left palm.

Nepherage had thrown Zhen Liu with significantly more force in comparison to the horse skull totem that was being thrown in his direction; as such, both skull and warrior were still airborne as Zhen Liu caught the skull and kept flying. Thankfully, he didn't necessarily need to be stationary to make a kaijin.

The next thing Zhen Liu knew, both he and the skull had impacted the neglected Voyager-1 Probe. Strangely, the probe proved to be sturdier than Zhen Liu had anticipated and didn't even budge as Zhen Liu faceplanted against it.

"Right…" Zhen Liu hissed at the realization of what his ability meant by supplemental material. "Why do I have a sense of déjà vu?"

As Zhen Liu griped about the mistreatment of the universe, time began to slow around them as his ability kicked into high gear and delivered message after message into his brain about how this session of kaijin creation was going to go this time around. Evidently, he wasn't going to be mentally ready for any of this.

Physical changes will be made to the kaijin bodies in order to accomodate these never-before-seen formulas. =>

But before Zhen Liu could even fully comprehend everything that was happening, a familiar feeling of sleepiness overwhelmed him, and his consciousness began to sink like a stone in the ocean.

The last thing he could fully comprehend was one final message.

As the last of Zhen Liu's consciousness faded, a whole new chant suddenly appeared in his mind, one that sounded so familiar and so foreign all at the same time.

[With my power, I'll reconstruct you into a being beyond your wildest dreams.]

[With my wisdom, I will bestow upon you knowledge that surpasses the understanding of this world's greatest sages.]

[With my will, I pull your souls from beyond the seas of Chaos and reform what had been lost.]

[Upon my name as the Kaijin Lord of this era, arise from your eternal slumbers and rewrite your destiny with your desires!]
