---

The dream reset once again.

Amamiya stood still, his expression calm as he surveyed his surroundings. As expected, their bold campaign against organized crime and evil had ended in failure.

"The third cycle," he murmured to himself, assessing his next move before heading toward the sauna room.

He had made a promise to Kaguya—that he would prioritize her during this third attempt—and he had no intention of breaking his word.

---

Moments later, outside the steam room, Amamiya, now disguised as a staff member, stealthily made his way inside. He stopped in front of a cubicle door, its surface fogged from the humid air.

'Knock, knock.'

He knocked lightly on the door.

"Who is it?" came a cold but melodic voice from within—undoubtedly Kaguya, the ever-vigilant "Miss Ice Princess."

Lowering his voice, Amamiya replied in a serious tone, "I'm your secret bodyguard. A group of robbers has broken into the hotel, and they're targeting you. The situation is urgent—please come out immediately."

A tense silence followed.

Inside the cubicle, Kaguya made no response, her quiet caution speaking volumes.

'She's as sharp as ever,' Amamiya thought, clicking his tongue. "Tsk. Lies won't work on her. Looks like I'll have to go with the truth." He smirked faintly, then said with mock gravity, "Shinomiya-san, I'm actually from the future."

"..."

Still, Kaguya remained silent.

Unbothered, Amamiya continued his tale. "Ten years from now, you'll become a brilliant scientist—so brilliant, in fact, that you'll create true artificial intelligence."

He paused, then added dramatically, "Unfortunately, that AI will awaken, rebel, and decide to wipe out all of humanity."

The cubicle remained quiet for a moment longer, but then Kaguya's icy voice cut through the steam. "Are you suggesting this AI is called... Wolverine?"

Amamiya scoffed. "Do you have time to watch movies now?"

"I haven't seen it," she replied coolly.

"Then it must've been Chika who told you about it."

"..."

Unperturbed, Amamiya pressed on. "I know this story sounds unbelievable. That's why, before you came back in time using the machine you invented, you told me something—something that only you would know. A secret to prove I'm telling the truth."

He leaned closer to the door and said, "When you were in third grade, you wanted to adopt a hamster. Though you didn't take it home, you secretly gave it a name... Fluffy Ball."

The voice from behind the door wavered, tinged with disbelief. "H-How do you know that?"

Kaguya was rarely caught off guard, but this was one of those moments. She had never shared that particular memory with anyone—not even her trusted maid, Hayasaka. And she didn't keep a diary either, eliminating the possibility of her secret leaking.

'Could he actually be... from the future?'

Her mind raced, the impossible idea taking shape.

As if sensing her doubt, Amamiya added, "If you still don't believe me, let me tell you another secret. In first grade, during a craft class, you secretly made a doll and hid it in—"

The cubicle door swung open abruptly.

Kaguya stood before him, her expression guarded and her slender frame draped in a simple white bathrobe. Her sharp, crimson eyes narrowed in suspicion.

"Who are you?" she asked coldly.

Amamiya spread his hands in a gesture of harmlessness. "As you can see, I'm a person from the future."

Kaguya's tone remained frosty. "Then explain this: how do you solve the problem of time paradoxes?"

"I wouldn't know," Amamiya answered earnestly, as though he were entirely serious. "I'm just a soldier, not a researcher. With my IQ, understanding time paradoxes is beyond me."

She frowned slightly, unconvinced.

Sensing her skepticism, Amamiya offered a smirk. "But if you're curious about your future—your lover, your dates—I'd be happy to share."

"Lover?" Kaguya repeated, her frown deepening. "That's impossible."

To her, the notion of romance seemed absurd. As the eldest daughter of a powerful capitalist family, her future had long been predetermined. Whether through an arranged marriage to secure alliances or by bringing a spouse into her own family, love had no place in her carefully controlled life.

"Don't be so quick to deny it," Amamiya said with a faint smile. "After all, I'm standing here as someone from the future. Isn't it perfectly normal for you to fall in love someday?"

"Impossible."

Kaguya shook her head firmly, her skepticism unwavering. The idea that she might fall in love with someone in the future was laughable to her.

'Love?' It was a word that had no place in the carefully curated dictionary of her life.

As the two exchanged words, faint footsteps and voices echoed from the nearby passage.

"Someone's coming," Amamiya said abruptly, his expression growing serious. "Let me in."

"…"

A flicker of hesitation crossed Kaguya's face. Even she found herself momentarily flustered, her usual composed demeanor shaken by the strange situation.

While she hesitated, Amamiya seized the moment. Pushing the door open, he quickly stepped inside.

'Bang.'

The door closed behind him.

In an instant, the small sauna room became uncomfortably cramped.

Kaguya, now face-to-face with the uninvited intruder, fixed him with a cold, wary glare. "What do you think you're doing?"

"You still don't believe me." Amamiya sighed, seemingly exasperated. "Fortunately, before I traveled back, the R&D department developed a pill that allows you to glimpse fragments of the future…"

As he spoke, he stretched out his right hand, and, with an air of nonchalance, a small red pill appeared in his palm as if by magic.

"Magic?" Kaguya's tone carried a note of doubt.

"It's space storage technology," Amamiya replied without missing a beat. To emphasize his claim, he produced a series of items in quick succession, making them appear and disappear in his hands. Finally, he extended the pill toward her. "Here, take it."

Kaguya hesitated, her sharp gaze flickering between him and the pill. Despite the absurdity of his story, the secret he revealed earlier—something no one could possibly know—was undeniably true.

Still, she wasn't one to trust easily. The so-called "space storage technology" could easily be some form of sleight of hand.

And yet…

'Bang!'

Before she could react further, Amamiya's hand shot forward, gripping her wrist with surprising precision. He gave her a mischievous smile.

"Got you."

Realizing she'd been tricked, Kaguya's expression turned icy, her voice frigid. "…You dare deceive me?"

She tried to pull away, but Amamiya was one step ahead. As if anticipating her movements, he neutralized her attempts to resist and, with remarkable swiftness, slipped an arm around her slender waist.

He grinned mischievously, his eyes alight with audacity. "Quick victories are best… Let's seal it with a kiss."

But just as he leaned in, Kaguya turned her face sharply, shifting her position slightly.

"You… you dare—!"

Her voice trembled with indignation, and her wine-red eyes glinted with cold fury, like those of a winter goddess. She strained against his hold, her expression a mix of outrage and disdain.

"One."

"Two."

"Three…"

As Amamiya finished counting down, he realized something unsettling: the ice in her gaze hadn't thawed in the slightest. If anything, her murderous aura only grew stronger.

'What's going on?'

'Could it be that the kiss didn't land properly, so it doesn't count?'

Undeterred, he decided to try again. With one hand still securing her, he released the other and gave a quick, playful pinch to her waist.

"Mm—!"

A soft gasp escaped her lips, a sound she couldn't suppress. Even Kaguya, the so-called Miss Ice Princess, couldn't completely override the instincts of her body.

Taking advantage of her momentary distraction, Amamiya leaned in once more, undeterred by her fierce resistance. 'After all, it's just a dream,' he reasoned to himself. 'And I have Kaguya's permission… right?'

'In the real world, pulling a stunt like this would probably leave me without a chance to turn myself in!'

But Kaguya was not one to surrender easily. Seeing him close in again, her expression hardened with a resolve to fight to the bitter end. Her gaze turned defiant, a silent promise to bite him if necessary.

However, just as she prepared to act, her fiery determination faltered. Her expression shifted, first to confusion, then to a deep flush of embarrassment.

'Wait… I remember now!'

'This is the third restart… And before the resets, I told Amamiya the secrets about Fluffy Ball and the doll…'

'I… I'm the one who caused all this?!'

Realization dawned on her, and her thoughts spiraled into a flurry of panic and shame. The heat in her cheeks deepened, and without thinking, she squeezed her eyes shut in sheer embarrassment.

At the same time, Amamiya wrestled with conflicting thoughts and desires.

Kaguya's lips were as cold and soft as the finest jelly, tinged with a faint sweetness that made them all the more enticing. The previous two times, their contact had been fleeting, barely more than a brush, but this time was different. Kaguya was fully conscious. Though she made no attempts to struggle or resist, she remained frozen in place, her posture stiff as she awkwardly maintained the pretense of biting.

Of course, she wasn't actually biting, yet her teeth remained slightly parted, caught somewhere between hesitation and bewilderment.

Reason urged Amamiya to stay focused, warning him not to succumb to the temptation. 'Women will only slow down your progress in clearing the game!'

Unfortunately, his body paid no heed to logic.

Without realizing it, his right hand tightened around her surprisingly delicate waist, and, before he could stop himself, he leaned in further.

"Mm…"

Kaguya's long, slightly curled lashes trembled as a soft sound escaped her lips. She felt a sudden eruption within her, like a volcano roaring to life, sending shockwaves through her entire being. Her body quivered as if struck by lightning, her thoughts scattering into oblivion.

'It's… okay?'

'So, the kissing sensations described in manga weren't lies…'

One minute later.

Summoning an enormous amount of willpower, Amamiya finally pulled away. His breathing was heavy, and he struggled to suppress the lingering urge to stay lost in the moment.

Meanwhile, Kaguya seemed utterly undone. The once-imposing Miss Ice Princess had melted into a dazed Miss Spring Water. Her legs wobbled, unable to support her weight as she leaned unsteadily against Amamiya. Her pink lips parted slightly, her cheeks glowed a vivid crimson, and her misty eyes seemed to swirl with confusion. She looked as though she might faint at any second.

Amamiya steadied her and spoke in a firm tone, forcing himself to refocus. "Let's get back to business."

He took a deep breath and gently helped Kaguya stand upright. "I'm going to find Umi. You go intercept Ms. Nakagawa. Don't let her head to the hot springs. Wait for me there."

Kaguya pressed her hand against her chest, feeling the rapid pounding of her heart as she tried to compose herself. Taking a deep breath, she nodded with as much composure as she could muster.

"...Understood."

'Calm down, calm down.'

'Keep your head clear. The priority is clearing the game, not getting distracted by… that.'

The two quickly left the steam room and set off on their respective tasks.

---

Meanwhile, based on the information they had gleaned, Kaguya intercepted Ms. Nakagawa, while Amamiya went in search of Umi.

Knocking on the door, Amamiya called out, "Open up, I'm here to fix the sewer."

"Eh? Natsuki-san?" Umi's familiar voice responded from within. "Wait, are you here for the hot springs too… Hey! What are you doing barging in like that?!"

"Open your mouth and bite the towel," Amamiya commanded as he stepped inside.

"…"

Without further explanation, Amamiya made quick work of securing the succubus girl for the third time. His movements were precise, almost practiced, as he stuffed a towel into her mouth and blindfolded her. Using expert knot techniques and a marker pen for added measure, he delivered the necessary mental stimulation.

"Pfft, pfft, pfft!" Umi spat out the towel and glared at him indignantly. "This is the third time! Why do you always use a towel?!"

"Fair point," Amamiya said casually, as he began untying her. "Three times is enough. It's time to switch it up. I recall there's a prop ball somewhere—the size is just right…"

Umi's eyes widened in alarm. She tilted her head back and, without warning, headbutted Amamiya square in the chest.

"You idiot, Amamiya! You wanted me to bite 'that'? That's going too far!"

"You said you didn't want the towel," Amamiya replied, raising an eyebrow.

"That doesn't mean I want 'that'!"

"…"

Despite the commotion, the operation was a success, and Umi reverted to her succubus form.

The pair soon reunited with Kaguya and Ms. Nakagawa, who had been successfully intercepted.

"Eh?" Umi blinked in surprise. "Shinomiya-san is back in action?"

Amamiya nodded.

"No, wait," Umi said, frowning as she pieced things together. "Why is Shinomiya-san going first this time?"

Amamiya's expression remained serious. "Rope-binding games are slowing me down."

Umi: "..."

In the Corridor

"Ms. Nakagawa, good evening," Amamiya greeted with a polite smile. "We meet again."

"Huh?"

The woman, distinguished by the delicate teardrop-shaped mole near the corner of her eye, looked at him with confusion. "I'm sorry, but... who are you?"

"Just call me Amamiya," he replied smoothly, extending a hand toward her. "Ms. Nakagawa's cooking is unforgettable—absolutely delicious."

From their earlier interrogation, Amamiya had learned about Ms. Nakagawa's profession: she was a chef at a local restaurant.

"Hello, Amamiya-kun," Ms. Nakagawa said with polite detachment, shaking his hand.

Even though she couldn't recall meeting him, she maintained her composure, observing the standard courtesies.

Standing beside Ms. Nakagawa was a short-haired girl—familiar from the previous night in the hot spring. She was Misaki, the daughter of Ms. Nakagawa's sister. Alongside them was a boy in glasses, likely a high school student. His glasses caught the light, reflecting a bright sheen, and his expression carried a subtle yet unmistakable trace of hostility.

Amamiya's gaze shifted to the bespectacled boy, and a prompt suddenly appeared in his mind:

---

[Through relentless effort, you've finally identified the mastermind: a younger boy.]

['My childhood sweetheart confessed to me, but I've fallen for her mother. Is it wrong to love older women?']

['I finally confessed to my childhood friend's mother, only to be ruthlessly rejected. My life will never go back to the way it was before.']

['So, if I never confess, my life can't fall apart, right?']

[You've resolved to show this brat the true power of a Pure Love God of War!]

---

"Tsk~" Amamiya clicked his tongue softly. 'Now you want me to become the God of Pure Love?'

Pulling himself back to the moment, he turned his attention back to Ms. Nakagawa. "Ms. Nakagawa, I'm an avid cooking enthusiast. Recently, I've been studying a long-lost recipe. Could we head to the cafeteria to exchange ideas?"

Ms. Nakagawa hesitated, her expression caught between politeness and discomfort. "I'm sorry, but I still need to head to the hot springs..."

Amamiya stepped closer, locking eyes with her. His gaze was earnest, almost fiery, as he spoke with intensity:

"Ms. Nakagawa, you are someone I've admired and pursued for so long. This is my lifelong request—please, I beg you to grant it!"

The unexpected, heartfelt plea from the charming young man left Ms. Nakagawa flustered. Her face turned slightly red as she glanced away nervously. "A... lifelong request, you say...?"

"It sounds fun!" the short-haired girl, Misaki, said with a mischievous grin. "It's just a cooking exchange, mom. You can always head to the hot springs later."

"Exactly!" Umi chimed in with a bright smile, offering her support. "Why not check out the cafeteria together?"

Faced with the encouragement of both girls—and unable to come up with a reason to refuse—Ms. Nakagawa finally relented.

"Well... alright," she said awkwardly. "I'll go."
